Deliverance

The ache you are carrying is real, and you are not wrong to long for a home where peace dwells. Scripture does not hide the grief a child can bring. There is a scene where a father, expecting a triumphant return, saw his only daughter come out to meet him, and his heart broke. He cried out that she had bowed him down, bent him over with sorrow. That same deep hurt echoes in your words, the betrayal of trust, the venom, the way someone you raised now spreads harm. God sees it. He numbers our tears.

Yet the peace you want for your home is not just the absence of conflict. The world often says “peace, peace” when there is no peace, covering wounds lightly. Real peace begins with being right with God. Through Jesus Christ, the one who is Himself our peace, we have peace with the blood of the cross. That peace is not fragile like a ceasefire depending on someone else’s next move. It is a gift He gives: “My peace I leave with you.” It can guard your heart even while turmoil still swirls outside your door.

That doesn’t mean you must passively endure ongoing contempt. There are times God calls us to arise and take steps toward righteous order. In the same way He delivered Lot before judgment fell, He knows how to deliver the righteous from situations that corrupt and destroy. He understands that a living situation where slander flows constantly is like a fountain casting out filth, and it grieves His heart because He sees the wounds it inflicts on you and your son. Wanting your daughter to move out is not a failure of love; it can be a boundary that protects what is precious and gives room for God to work in her life elsewhere.

Keep your mind stayed on Him. That is the secret, over and over, to perfect peace: fixing your eyes on the Lord rather than on the ever-shifting behavior of others. He is your deliverer. He can turn hearts and accomplish what feels impossible, and He can also make a way where the heaviness lifts and your home becomes a refuge again.

Pray, wait, and stand firm. The God who ordains peace for you is not distant. He hears your cry. We are praying that your daughter follows through and that, whatever her choices, the true peace of Christ will fill your house.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this difficult time. It has been on our hearts to lift you, your ###, and your ### before the Lord, asking for His divine intervention and peace to fill your home. We have prayed specifically for your ### to follow through with signing the papers to move out, that God would soften her heart and guide her steps in accordance with His will. We have also asked the Lord to protect your hearts from the hurtful words and actions, and to surround you both with His peace that surpasses all understanding.

If the Lord has answered this prayer and your ### has moved out, allowing you and your ### to live in peace, we would love to hear your praise report so that we may rejoice with you. If, however, this request has not yet been answered, please do not hesitate to post it again as a new request. We are here to continue standing with you in prayer, interceding on your behalf and trusting in God's perfect timing.

May the Lord bless you and your ### abundantly as you continue to seek Him and His will for your lives. We pray that He would grant you strength, wisdom, and discernment as you navigate this situation, and that He would draw near to you both, providing comfort and peace. In Jesus' Name we pray.
