We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up and her son before You, Lord. We declare that every curse spoken, generational or otherwise, against them is broken in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The Word of God tells us in Galatians 3:13, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.'" We stand on this truth, claiming the freedom that Christ purchased for them through His sacrifice.
Father, we rebuke every spirit of infirmity, sickness, and bondage that has come against ’s son. We pray for his complete healing, spirit, soul, and body. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would guide him safely in his journey to lose weight, that it would be done in a way that honors and glorifies You. Strengthen his body, renew his mind, and fill him with discipline and self-control, as Your Word says in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."
We also lift up the deep hurts and wounds he carries from the past. Lord, You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask that You would heal every emotional scar, every memory of pain, and every place where bitterness or unforgiveness may have taken root. Pour out Your love and peace upon him, reminding him that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that You have a purpose and plan for his life (Jeremiah 29:11).
Father, we break every assignment of the enemy against this family. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every spirit of heaviness, depression, or oppression to flee in Jesus’ name. Fill them with Your joy, which is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and surround them with Your angels for protection (Psalm 91:11).
We pray that ’s son would come to know You intimately, Lord, if he does not already. Draw him to Yourself, reveal Your love to him, and let him experience the transforming power of a relationship with Jesus Christ. For it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and we pray that he would surrender his life fully to You.
We also pray for , that You would strengthen her faith, give her wisdom as she parents, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May she be a shining light of Your love and truth in her home.
In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray and declare these things. Amen.
