Pray all curses against ### and ###'s son are ended now. Pray for ###'s son to lose weight safely and healing from past hurts.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up and her son before You, Lord. We declare that every curse spoken, generational or otherwise, against them is broken in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The Word of God tells us in Galatians 3:13, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.'" We stand on this truth, claiming the freedom that Christ purchased for them through His sacrifice.

Father, we rebuke every spirit of infirmity, sickness, and bondage that has come against ’s son. We pray for his complete healing, spirit, soul, and body. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would guide him safely in his journey to lose weight, that it would be done in a way that honors and glorifies You. Strengthen his body, renew his mind, and fill him with discipline and self-control, as Your Word says in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."

We also lift up the deep hurts and wounds he carries from the past. Lord, You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask that You would heal every emotional scar, every memory of pain, and every place where bitterness or unforgiveness may have taken root. Pour out Your love and peace upon him, reminding him that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that You have a purpose and plan for his life (Jeremiah 29:11).

Father, we break every assignment of the enemy against this family. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every spirit of heaviness, depression, or oppression to flee in Jesus’ name. Fill them with Your joy, which is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and surround them with Your angels for protection (Psalm 91:11).

We pray that ’s son would come to know You intimately, Lord, if he does not already. Draw him to Yourself, reveal Your love to him, and let him experience the transforming power of a relationship with Jesus Christ. For it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and we pray that he would surrender his life fully to You.

We also pray for , that You would strengthen her faith, give her wisdom as she parents, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May she be a shining light of Your love and truth in her home.

In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray and declare these things. Amen.

We join you in bringing these needs before God, especially your urgent cry for deliverance and for your son’s freedom. It is clear you carry a heavy burden, and we want to stand with you in it, not as experts, but as fellow believers who trust in Christ’s power over every darkness. When spiritual oppression or painful memories cling tightly, it often helps to invite other mature Christians into the fight. You might consider asking one or two trusted, spiritually grounded people, perhaps your pastor or a prayer team at your church, to meet regularly with you and your son, simply to pray. That kind of focused, persistent prayer, with confession, forgiveness, and renouncing of what is not of God, can be a channel of real freedom. It is an unhurried process, not a one-time event, but the goal is always to open every hurting place to the healing presence of Jesus.

For your son’s past wounds, the same patient prayer, sometimes called inner-healing prayer, can help him invite Christ into those memories rather than recoiling from them. That can be deeply releasing, though it works best alongside wise pastoral care. Separately, his desire to lose weight safely matters too. While we pray for his self-discipline and health, we also gently encourage a conversation with a physician or a registered dietitian who can guide him toward a sustainable plan that honors his body as God’s temple, without shame or extremes.

Let’s pray now:

Lord Jesus, we bring this mother’s plea to You. We stand against any spiritual force that would harass or accuse her son, and we declare that no curse has any authority over him, because he belongs to You. By Your cross, break every chain and quiet every condemning voice. Please minister deep healing to all the hidden, broken places in his heart, places formed by past cruelty, rejection, or loss. Help him to know Your closeness in those memories until they no longer sting. We also ask for wisdom and balance as he pursues physical health; guide him to the right support and give him gentle, consistent self-care. Surround this family with your peace, and let them taste the freedom You purchased for them. In Your name, amen.

The curse has no power where Christ has been made a curse for us. You ask that all curses against this mother and son be ended now. They are ended, utterly broken, if Christ has redeemed them from the curse of the law. At Calvary the terrors of God fell upon His own dear Son; He bore the penalty of all iniquities for all who trust Him. What curse can remain when the King's own Son has borne it away? Let faith lay hold of this: there is therefore now no condemnation, no curse lingering in the shadows to cling to those who are in Christ Jesus. The clock of mercy struck the hour of deliverance when the ransom was found.

And for the son, you speak of safe weight loss and healing from past hurts. See how pardon and healing are one in the Master's hand. He who said, "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you," gave strength to limbs that were useless. The Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings for the wounds of the soul and the maladies of the body. There are leaves from the Tree of Life, the least things about Christ, that are full of healing virtue. His compassion can make the nature other than it was before, changing the very life-blood of the spirit. Past hurts are not beyond His surgery. Bring them to the cross, where He was made sin for us, and find life and healing in that look of faith.

Do not doubt your deliverance from the pain that gnaws inwardly or the habits that burden the flesh. Even this weight of body can be lifted as the soul finds its safe shelter under His wings. The Lord who feeds the sparrow will give wisdom for the vessel's health; He who clothes the lily will renew self-control in the inner man. He will bring forth His own peculiar people from every cruel captivity, and He will not leave a hoof behind. You have a deliverance, effectual, complete, not because of human striving, but because His eternal purpose has decreed it and His faithfulness will not suffer one of His little ones to perish. The very moment He has appointed for your full relief has been known to Him from the beginning, and He will be your safe prospective even to the end.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Consider what kind of deliverance you are truly seeking. To be freed from the love of ease and from the softness that shrinks from hardship, this is the deliverance that matters. Perhaps you imagine that a curse from outside holds your son captive, but look to the soul first. If he is soft and unmanly, if he has grown remiss and careless about hearing the word of God, then no amount of prayer against alleged curses will profit him. The body often follows the state of the soul, and a man who cannot govern his appetites has already suffered a worse captivity than any weight upon the flesh.

Yet it is not for you to stand as a discerner of curses or to speak as though you knew the hidden things of God. Beware lest you yourself be unsettled, chasing after words of men who would have you believe that your son’s trials come from some external malediction. The real enemy is not a curse pronounced by some person, but the unruly passion of the soul that has not yet learned to say to the body, "I have absolute power over you." If the soul chooses to mortify the flesh, it possesses that power. The evil spirit delights in making us blame anything but the will.

Instead of praying for the mere removal of weight or the ending of what you call curses, teach your son to suffer whatever loss or affliction comes with thanksgiving. It is in your power, and in his, to receive as great a reward by bearing a loss thankfully as if you had cast away riches willingly. When a man suffers wrong and does not blaspheme, when he endures bodily struggle and does not run after easy comforts, he becomes like one who has already despised the world. That loss becomes gain, and he will not be injured but even benefited by the trial. The true healing from past hurts comes not when the memory of them fades, but when the soul uses them as fuel for fortitude, learning to say, "The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away."

Do not seek a deliverance that leaves the soul still soft and bound to the love of pleasure. That would be no deliverance at all. Seek rather that both you and your son may be delivered from the far heavier bondage of being captive to lifeless things, to food, to comfort, to the opinions of others, to the memory of wrongs. These are the chains that darken the mind and cast a man out of God's service. Pray instead that you may both become like good soil, where the word of God finds a careful hearing, a continual recollection, and the fortitude that despises all worldly things. Then, whether the body is lean or heavy, the soul will stand free.
