We join with you in prayer for you and your ### and we thank you for bringing this need before the Lord. We hear your desire for deliverance and for every curse to be broken, and for your ### to find both physical health and deep inner healing, and we stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus.
The Word reminds us that curses have no authority over those who belong to Christ, for Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us Galatians 3:13. We also cling to the promise that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17 and that if God is for us, who can be against us Romans 8:31. We do not need to live in fear of curses or spiritual attack when we are in Christ, for God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. The way we walk in that freedom is to submit ourselves therefore to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7. We encourage you both to walk in repentance, forgiveness, and obedience, to renounce any involvement with the occult or unholy influences, and to fill your home and hearts with Scripture, worship and prayer, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds 2 Corinthians 10:4.
We also notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that deliverance and healing are found. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, confessing Him as Lord, for with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation Romans 10:9-10. It is in His name alone that every curse is broken.
We also lift up your ###’s physical health. We pray that he would lose weight safely and in a way that honors God, for we pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers 3 John 1:2. We remember that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God, and you are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. We pray for wisdom for healthy eating, daily discipline, and self-control which is fruit of the Spirit Galatians 5:23, and for guidance from godly medical counsel as needed, so that his body may be strengthened and not harmed.
For the hurts of the past, we know the Lord sees and cares deeply. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. We pray that any bitterness, rejection, trauma or sorrow would be brought to the cross, that forgiveness would be given where needed, and that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7.
We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we thank You that You are our deliverer and healer. We ask that You break and end now every curse, spell, word or assignment spoken against this dear mother and her ###, and we declare that it has no power because of the blood of Jesus shed on the cross. Wash them clean, fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Your request for deliverance and healing has been brought before the Lord, and it is right to seek Him who alone can break every chain and heal every wound.
We are taught in Scripture that the curse which rests upon sin was borne by another. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us, that the blessing might come upon us through His blood. There is no deliverance by our own power or by any charm of words, but by the ransom which God Himself has found and provided in His Son. As it is written, He found a ransom, and therefore the prisoner ready to be executed goes free because the King's own Son has borne the penalty. If you are in Christ, no curse uttered by man can stand against the blood of the Lamb that was slain, for He brought His people forth with His own hand and outstretched arm.
We pray therefore that you and your son would know this deliverance wrought out by the Lord Jesus Christ, not as a mere hope but as a present possession through faith in Him. May you look to Him as Israel looked to the brazen serpent and find life and healing in that look. May every fear that you are still under condemnation be answered by the truth that He was made sin for you, and that in Him you are fully pardoned and set free.
For your son we pray also for bodily healing and for the healing of the heart. The Lord is He that heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. He does not merely patch the outward hurt, He changes the life blood and makes the nature other than it was before. The Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are one in His hand. We ask that the leaves of the tree of life, which are for the healing of the nations, may be applied to his past hurts, that bitterness and sorrow may be forgotten in the joy of forgiveness, and that old wounds may no longer fester but be healed by the great Physician.

We have heard your request and we join you in prayer before our Lord Jesus Christ, who alone is our salvation and our healer.
We pray that every curse spoken against you and your son would be shown to have no power, for Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us. In Him there is no curse that can stand, but blessing and freedom for those who trust in Him. We ask the Father to make this truth firm in your hearts, and to deliver you from all fear, so that you may walk in the confidence of His grace and not in the shadow of any evil word or past oppression.
We pray also for your son, for his body and his soul. We ask God to grant him health and wisdom to lose weight safely, with self control and with good counsel from those He has given for the care of the body. May the Lord give him strength to care for the body as a gift from God, not from harshness or haste, but with patience and discipline, and with deliverance from all worldly things that would harm him. May he grow in fortitude and in contempt for what harms the soul, and in love for what is truly good.
For healing from past hurts, we pray that the Lord who is the true physician would do His work within. This house of God is a spiritual surgery where wounds received outside can be healed, if we give heed to the Spirit speaking to us through the Scriptures. We pray that your son would hear the word of Christ carefully and continually, and that through that continual hearing his senses would be exercised and his heart restored. God knows every sigh and every small act of faith, and He does not overlook them but remembers and rewards them. Even if fruit does not appear at once, keep hearing and praying, for as a tree may receive many strokes before it falls, so the soul often gains quietly through many hearings until at last abundant fruit appears all at once by the grace of God.
May the Lord heal what has been wounded, raise up what has been cast down, and establish you both in faith, health, and peace. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope, who is able to make you worthy of His promises and to bring you to everlasting blessing.

We are praying with you for you and your son and we thank you for sharing this need so honestly.
The Scripture shows that blessings and curses were set before the people. From one mountain the blessings were spoken for those who would heed the voice of the Lord and keep His covenant, and from the other mountain the curses were spoken for those who would turn away, and the people were to answer Amen, acknowledging that God is right and just. As you continue into the later chapters you see how much longer the list of curses is, because disobedience brings consequences that pursue and overtake a life. But the good news is that God has provided deliverance. The prophet Isaiah said the Messiah would bear our sicknesses and carry our pains, and the Gospel shows Jesus fulfilling that word as He healed the sick, cleansed the leper, restored the servant and the mother in law, and set free those oppressed by evil spirits with authority in both the physical and spiritual realm. On the cross Christ Himself bore the curse for us, so that those who put their trust in Him alone for salvation are no longer under a curse but under His grace and protection. We pray in the name of Jesus that any spoken curse or spiritual oppression against you and your son would have no hold, and that you would walk in the freedom and blessing that comes from belonging to Christ and listening to His voice.

God cares for the body He created and His instructions about what is good for food and about cleanliness show His concern for our strength and well being. Weight is a matter of stewardship of the body, and we pray for wisdom, self control and safe, healthy habits for him, not through harsh or dangerous means, but through a steady and gradual process. All true healing is from God, whether it comes in a moment or step by step through the natural processes He has built into our bodies. We pray the Lord will give him and you guidance for nourishing food, wise choices and perseverance, and that He will strengthen him day by day.
For healing from past hurts, we remember that Jesus not only heals bodies but also heals the wounds of the heart and mind. The same Lord who bore our infirmities can heal the scars left by painful experiences. Part of that healing is learning to release the past. Like the apostle who counted his former life and accomplishments as loss in order to gain Christ, and who chose to forget what lies behind and press forward in his relationship with Jesus, we can bring old hurts to the Lord and allow Him to do a healing work in our emotions and memories. We do not always understand why some are healed instantly and others gradually, and why some healings follow one pattern and others another, for the Lord is not confined to one method. But we trust His love and power to restore.
Let us pray. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we ask for deliverance for this family. Break the power of every curse and every work of darkness and let them know they are covered by the blood of Jesus. Grant to this son safe and steady health, wisdom for his body, and grace to care for it well. Touch his heart and heal every hurt from the past, the griefs and wounds he still carries, and give him peace and wholeness in You. Help them both to hear Your voice, to walk in obedience and faith, and to find their righteousness and hope in Christ alone. Amen.

Let us pray. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we ask for deliverance for this family. Break the power of every curse and every work of darkness and let them know they are covered by the blood of Jesus. Grant to this son safe and steady health, wisdom for his body, and grace to care for it well. Touch his heart and heal every hurt from the past, the griefs and wounds he still carries, and give him peace and wholeness in You. Help them both to hear Your voice, to walk in obedience and faith, and to find their righteousness and hope in Christ alone. Amen.
