Deliverance

Pray all curses against ### and ###'s son are ended now. Pray for ###'s son to lose weight safely and healing from past hurts.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for deliverance and healing. Father God, we declare that every curse spoken, sent, or enacted against ### and her son has no power, for Your Word declares in Galatians 3:13, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.'"

We break every chain of generational curses, words of death, witchcraft, or any evil assignment in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The blood of Jesus has already paid the price for their freedom, and we stand in agreement with that finished work. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, oppression, or bondage that has sought to afflict ###’s son, and we command it to flee now in Jesus’ name. No weapon formed against them shall prosper, for You have promised in Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that will rise against you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord."

Lord, we specifically pray for ###’s son’s physical health. You created his body, and You know every cell, every struggle, and every need. We ask for safe and sustainable weight loss, not by the world’s standards, but by Your divine design. Strengthen his body, renew his mind, and give him discipline rooted in Your love. Remind him that his worth is not found in his appearance but in being fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image (Psalm 139:14). Guide him to healthy habits, surround him with godly accountability, and let Your peace guard his heart as he walks this journey.

Father, we also lift up the deep wounds of past hurts. You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We ask that You would bring healing to every memory, every betrayal, every moment of pain that has left scars on his soul. Pour out Your love like a balm, Lord, and replace bitterness with forgiveness, shame with Your righteousness, and fear with trust in You. Let him know that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Surround him with Your presence, and let him experience the freedom that comes from surrendering his pain to You.

We also want to gently address the foundation of this prayer. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and the power to break every curse and chain. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If ### or her son have not yet surrendered their lives to Jesus, we pray that today would be the day they invite Him into their hearts as Lord and Savior. Jesus died on the cross to set us free from sin, sickness, and every work of the enemy. We encourage them to confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead, and they will be saved (Romans 10:9).

Let this be a season of breakthrough, restoration, and divine intervention for ### and her son. We declare that they are covered by the blood of Jesus, sealed by the Holy Spirit, and destined for victory. May they walk in the fullness of Your promises, Lord, and may their lives bring glory to Your name. We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

We hear a mother’s heart behind this, thank you for trusting us to stand with you in prayer. It’s a gift when a loved one’s burdens become our own, and we take that seriously.

When we pray about curses, we rest in this: every person who belongs to Jesus lives under the shield of His blessing, and no curse can stick where He says “mine.” So we join you in boldly asking Him to silence any voice, spiritual, verbal, or from the past, that has spoken harm over your son. In Christ, those words lose their power.

At the same time, healing from past hurts often unfolds more like a long, gentle walk than a single event. Your son may find real freedom not by chasing a sudden deliverance, but by processing the wounds in a safe place. We’d gently encourage him, when he’s ready, to consider a trusted pastor or a Christian counselor. There is no shame in that; it’s simply letting another member of the body help him sort through pain, grieve what was lost, and replace lies with truth in a context of grace.

As for his weight, we pray for healthy changes, but we also hope he’ll let a doctor guide that journey. The body, soul, and spirit are woven together, and caring well for one often strengthens the others.

Let’s pray:

Lord Jesus, we bring this son before You. In Your name, we break any assignment of the enemy and command every lingering curse to fall silent. Heal the broken places inside him, meet him in the memories he may avoid and show him You were there all along. Give him courage to reach for the right human help, and the humility to accept it. Lead him toward physical health in a way that brings life, not shame. Hold his mother’s heart steady in hope as You work. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The curse that once hung over you is broken, for Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the Law, being made a curse for us. No curse can stand against the blood-bought soul, for the ransom is found, and the deliverance is certain, already accomplished in the eternal purpose of Jehovah. The prisoner is set free, not by a moral change within, but by a redemptive work without: the Son of God bore the penalty, and the curse is swallowed up in His cross. Let faith lay hold of this; the clock of mercy has struck, and the chains are loosed.

The healing of the body and the binding of the heart’s wounds flow from the same pierced hand. The Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, and the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, yes, the least thing about Christ is healing. Past hurts, those secret sorrows, those inward scars, are known to Him who was wounded for our transgressions. Pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction; when the Lord forgives, He removes the weight of His hand. For the son’s health, look not to mere regimen alone, but to the great Physician. Sickness has often brought health, and loss has conferred gain; the Lord who chastens measures every trial in covenant love, not anger. Pray, then, that the life blood be changed, the spirits affected, the nature made new, and let the weight be lost as the soul is lightened.

After deliverance, the believer’s conduct is this: “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” When the Esaus are met and the fear is turned to embrace, when the captives are brought forth with silver and gold, then let the mouth be filled with testimony. The man who has seen the sea from the depths knows its wonders; declare, then, what the Lord has done for your soul and for your son. Trust Him for complete deliverance, from the curse, from the power of sin, from the bruises of the past, and go forward singing the songs of deliverance, for He brought them forth, and not a hoof was left behind.

You ask for prayers that every curse be ended, and for ###’s safe loss of weight and healing from past hurts. Yet consider what true deliverance is. A curse uttered by men has no power unless we first give place to the devil by our own sin. If ### walks in the fear of God, the bitter words of others are but wind; they cannot touch a soul anchored in Christ. Rather, examine whether any root of sin within ### has opened a door. For it is not enough to be freed from the thing we dread; we must cultivate every part of virtue, a careful hearing of the word, fortitude, contempt of worldly things. Pray then not merely for the silence of hostile lips, but that ### may be so grounded in the faith that no curse can find a foothold.

As for ###’s body, you desire ### to lose weight safely. The flesh indeed must be subdued, for pampering it often kindles disorder in the soul. But look well to the cause. It is not the body alone that craves excess, but the will that consents. Some in their zeal mutilate themselves, blaming the members rather than the unruly passion within, a satanic madness. True discipline begins in the heart, by bringing every appetite under the command of reason and the fear of God. Let ### practice secret self-denial, not making a display of ###’s struggle, for the Lord sees in secret. And let ### bathe ###’s ears in the divine Scriptures; continual hearing has power to quench even deep-rooted desires.

Regarding past hurts, know that the church is a spiritual surgery. Bring those wounds here, to the medicines of prayer, repentance, and the remembrance of Christ’s own sufferings. If you have suffered wrong, give thanks in the midst of it, and you will receive as great a reward as one who gives away riches willingly. Job, stripped of all, did not blaspheme but blessed God, and received double. So too, when we bear injuries without bitterness, the loss becomes gain. Forgive from the heart those who caused the hurt, and you will find the healing you seek. God does not abandon those who trust Him; He turns even the devil’s assaults to our benefit if we endure with thanksgiving.
