We join you in prayer for you and your son and we stand together against any curse or weapon formed against your family. We know the concern you carry for your son, both for his physical health and for the deep hurts he has carried from the past, and we bring both needs before the Lord who is our deliverer and healer.
The Word of God is clear that those who are in Christ are no longer under any curse. We rebuke any curse, spell, or word spoken against you and your son, for it has no authority over those who belong to Jesus. Galatians 3:13 says Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. And Isaiah 54:17 promises No weapon that is formed against you will prevail. We declare together that every curse is broken and ended now by the blood of Jesus Christ, and that you and your son are covered and protected in Him. We also claim James 4:7 to submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you, and Luke 10:19 which reminds us of the authority we have in Christ over all the power of the enemy.
We also lift up your son's physical health. We pray that the Lord will help him to lose weight safely and in a way that honors God, for our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 says Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God. You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. We pray for wisdom, self control, and discipline, and for guidance from godly counsel and medical wisdom as needed, so that his health may be restored for God's glory. 1 Corinthians 10:31 reminds us that whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. We pray for strength to make healthy choices, for energy and encouragement, and for his body to be strengthened without harm or extreme measures. 3 John 1:2 says Beloved, we pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers.
For the healing of past hurts, we pray the Lord will bind up every wound and bring deep inner restoration. Psalm 147:3 says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. We ask God to heal memories, to remove shame and bitterness, and to replace pain with His peace that surpasses understanding. We encourage your son to bring every hurt to Jesus, to forgive as Christ forgave us, and to allow the Lord to renew his mind day by day.

Lord, touch this young man physically, guide him to lose weight safely and healthfully, give him wisdom and strength, and restore his body to health. Heal his heart from every past hurt, wash away pain and trauma, and fill him with Your love, joy, and peace. Let him know how deeply he is loved and valued by You. Your request for deliverance has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the Lord who alone can work deliverance with His own hand and outstretched arm.
There is a curse that rests upon all who have broken the law of God, the solemn curse declared of old, and none can remove it by his own strength. But our hope is not in our power to end curses, but in Him who was made a curse for us. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us, bearing in our place the penalty that was due. God has not only invented a way of deliverance, He has found a ransom, and that ransom is the blood of His own Son. Those who looked to the brazen serpent found life and healing in that look, and even so there is life by looking to Him who was made sin for us. If any curse has been spoken against you or against this dear son, we pray that its power is broken and ended now in Christ Jesus, for greater is He that is for us than any word spoken against us.
We pray also for this son, that the Lord who heals the broken in heart would be his physician. He knows the wounds that past hurts have left, for the wounds of the heart are painful and none but God can heal them. Yet we have abundant healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. We ask that the Sun of Righteousness would rise upon him with healing in His wings, bringing pardon first and then healing, for when Jesus forgives sin, healing comes from the pardoning hand. May the Lord bind up what has been broken and make his nature new, giving him to forget the reproach of former sorrows as he walks in newness of life.

We are praying with you for deliverance and healing for you and your son.
We ask our Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ alone who is our salvation, to break and end every curse spoken or intended against you. Scripture teaches that Christ has redeemed us from the curse by becoming a curse for us, and we pray that you and your son will rest in that finished work and walk free from fear and oppression. May the Lord guard your home and let no weapon formed against you prosper, and may His peace rule in your hearts.
We also lift up your son before the Lord for his physical and inner healing. We pray for wisdom and grace for safe and healthy weight loss, for self discipline and strength, and for guidance for any doctors or counselors who help him. We pray that the Lord will give him a sound body to serve God with vigor and a clear mind.
For past hurts, we pray that Christ the true physician will heal every wound. This life is like a spiritual surgery where the Lord gently heals what has been injured outside, and we ask Him to heal memories, sorrows and disappointments with His mercy. We pray that through careful hearing of His word and continual remembrance of His promises, your son will grow in fortitude and hope, and that you both will experience daily renewal.
We encourage you to continue in prayer and in hearing the word with patience. Even when fruit seems slow to appear, the Lord is at work, and He does not overlook even a sigh offered in faith. He will give great reward to those who seek Him.

Thank you for sharing this burden and allowing prayer for you and your son. I am praying with you for deliverance, for health, and for deep healing from what has hurt you in the past.
The Bible speaks of blessings and curses in a very specific way. When God gave His covenant to Israel, He had blessings declared from one mountain and curses declared from the other, and the people were to answer amen to show they understood the terms. The blessings were promised for walking in obedience to the Lord, and the curses were the consequence that would overtake them if they turned away from Him to serve other gods. It was a covenant matter, not a matter of someone speaking a spell over them that they could not escape. The warning was clear, if you turn from Me, these hard consequences will follow.
That is why the hope we have in Jesus Christ is so great. Scripture says Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us. When a person puts faith in Jesus alone for salvation, the power of that curse is broken. No spoken word, no ill wish, no spiritual attack can separate you from the love of God or override what Christ has done. The enemy would like you to live in fear as if you are still under a curse, but faith looks away from self and away from the fear and looks to God and to what He has already accomplished. Unbelief keeps us in a wilderness of fear and defeat, while faith trusts that He is able to keep us from falling and to bring us into His blessing.
So I pray that you will both rest in that finished work. Father, in the name of Jesus I ask that any fear of curses be removed and that you and your son would know the freedom and protection that comes through Christ. Keep you in His care, guard your hearts and minds, and help you walk closely with Him in obedience and trust, not in dread.

We have continued to lift you both before the Lord, praying that every curse spoken against you and your son would be broken and ended now by the power of Jesus Christ, for we know that Christ redeemed us from the curse as it is written in Gal 3:13 and that no weapon formed against you shall prosper in Isaiah 54:17. We have also been praying for your son, that the Lord would grant him wisdom and grace to lose weight safely and in a healthy way, and that God would bring complete healing to his body and to his heart from past hurts. We have asked the Lord to heal his broken heart and bind up his wounds according to Psalm 147:3 and to restore him in body, soul and spirit.
