Beloved of All
We join you in bringing this request before the Lord and ask for His mercy and power to be made known in your lives.
We pray that every curse spoken against you and your son is broken and ended now in the name of Jesus Christ. Scripture teaches that Christ has redeemed us from the curse by becoming a curse for us on the cross, and that no weapon formed against those who are in Him shall stand. We ask God to deliver you from all fear, oppression, and spiritual harm, and to establish you in the freedom and protection that belongs to those who trust in Christ alone. May you know that your deliverance is not by your own strength, but by His grace, and may you be kept in careful hearing of His word and in continual remembrance of His promises, which is the true medicine for the soul.
We also lift up your son before the Father. We pray for his physical health, that God would grant him wisdom, self control and strength to lose weight safely and in a way that honors God and cares for the body He has given. We ask for guidance for any doctors or counselors who help him, for patience in the process, and for a sound mind and disciplined heart that seeks temperance and not extremes.
We pray too for healing from past hurts. This house of God is a spiritual surgery where Christ heals the wounds we have received. We ask the Lord to heal every hurt in his heart and in yours, to wash away bitterness and sorrow, to restore what has been broken, and to give you both a renewed strength to lay hold on eternal life. As healing often comes little by little through many hearings of the word, we pray you will continue steadfast in prayer and in the Scriptures, trusting that God who sees the root will bring forth abundant fruit in due season.
May the Lord grant you deliverance, health, and wholeness according to His will, and may you both grow in fortitude and in the knowledge of His love. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, through whom alone is salvation. Amen.
