We join with you in prayer for deliverance and we stand together against any fear that curses have power over you and your son. We want to remind you of what Scripture teaches, that for those who are in Christ, no curse can remain where it has not been earned, and Christ Himself has become our redemption from every curse. As it is written, Like a fluttering sparrow, like a darting swallow, so the undeserved curse does not alight, Proverbs 26:2 and Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us, Galatians 3:13. We also cling to the promise, No weapon that is formed against you will prevail, Isaiah 54:17 and If God is for us, who can be against us, Romans 8:31. We do not need to live in fear of spoken curses or spiritual attacks when we are covered by the blood of Jesus, but we do need to walk in obedience, forgiveness, and faith, submitting ourselves to God and resisting the enemy.
We also lift up your son before the Lord for his physical health and for healing from past hurts. We pray that God will help him to steward his body in a safe and healthy way, not through harsh or harmful means, but through self control, wisdom, and strength that comes from the Holy Spirit. Remember that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God. You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God, 1 Corinthians 10:31. We also pray for his inner healing, for the wounds that others may have caused or that life has brought. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, Psalm 34:18 and He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, Psalm 147:3. We ask God to replace shame, rejection, or pain with His peace and identity in Christ.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently but clearly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and find true deliverance and salvation. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord, that we are saved and set free, Romans 10:9. Any deliverance we seek must be sought in His name and by His authority alone, not by rituals or other powers.
So we pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we thank You that You are our refuge and deliverer. We ask that every curse, every spoken word, every assignment of the enemy against this dear one and her son be broken and rendered powerless now by the blood of Jesus. We declare that no undeserved curse will rest upon them and that they are redeemed from the curse through Christ. We ask for Your protection to surround them and for Your perfect love which casts out fear to fill their hearts, for God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self control, 2 Timothy 1:7. Lord, we lift up this son to You, we ask for Your healing hand upon his body and his heart. Give him wisdom and self control to lose weight safely, to make healthy choices, to have strength and discipline, and to see himself as You see him, fearfully and wonderfully made. Heal his past hurts, bind up every wound, and let him know how deeply he is loved and valued by You. Restore his joy and give him hope for the future, and let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:7. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus, our only Savior and Deliverer, Amen.
We encourage you both to continue to abide in Christ daily through prayer, reading Scripture, and fellowship with other believers, putting on the whole armor of God, Ephesians 6:11, and walking in forgiveness toward those who have caused hurt. Trust that God is at work even now to bring wholeness and freedom, and keep seeking Him first, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun.

Your request for deliverance has been brought before the Lord and we join you in seeking His mercy at the throne of grace.
We pray that every curse spoken against you and your son would be shown to be powerless before the cross of Christ, for we remember the word that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. It is not by any charm or word of man that deliverance comes, but by the hand and outstretched arm of Jehovah alone, through the Lamb that was slain. In Him alone is our ransom found, and God having found that ransom says, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom. May you and your son rest in that finished work, knowing that condemnation is ended for all who are in Christ Jesus.
We pray also for your son, that the Lord who healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds would lay His healing hand upon him. We ask the Sun of Righteousness to rise upon him with healing in His wings, to bring healing to his body that he may lose weight safely and in a way that strengthens his frame, and to bring healing to his soul from past hurts. We have heard your request and we join you in prayer before the Lord who is our deliverer and healer.
Heavenly Father, we come to you in the name of Jesus Christ alone, through whom we have salvation and every blessing. We thank you that Christ redeemed us from the curse by becoming a curse for us on the cross, so that in Him we are set free. We ask now that every curse spoken or intended against this family would be ended and have no power. Let your protection and peace rest upon this mother and her son, and let them know that no weapon formed against those who are in Christ shall prevail.
We lift up her son to you. You know his body and his heart. We pray for his physical health, that you would grant him wisdom, strength and self control to lose weight safely and in a way that honors you and cares for the body you have given him. Guide him to healthy habits, to good counsel, and to perseverance, and guard him from harm as he seeks to become stronger.
We also pray for healing from past hurts. You are the One who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Your house is a spiritual surgery where wounds received in the world can be healed. We ask that you would heal his memories and emotions, take away bitterness and pain, and restore him to wholeness. We have lifted your request before the Lord and we join you in asking for His deliverance, healing and peace for you and your son.
The Scriptures speak of curses in a specific way. In Deuteronomy chapters 27 and 28 the curses were pronounced from Mount Ebal as consequences for breaking the covenant of God, and the people answered Amen to acknowledge that His judgment is right. There are many more verses describing those curses than the blessings, to show how serious it is to turn away from obeying His voice. The good news of the gospel is that Jesus Christ has borne the curse for us and has borne our infirmities and sicknesses as Isaiah foretold, so that those who are in Him are redeemed from that curse and are no longer to live in fear of it. Our prayer is that you both will rest fully in what Christ has done, walk closely with Him in obedience and faith, and know the freedom and protection that comes from belonging to Him.
We also pray for your son's physical health and for his need to lose weight in a safe way. The Lord heals in many ways. Sometimes His healing is immediate, sometimes it is gradual, sometimes with a touch, sometimes with a word, sometimes through a process over time. He is not confined to one pattern. The natural processes of healing that He has built into our bodies are themselves from Him, and any true healing is divine. We ask God to give your son wisdom, discipline and strength for healthy steps, to guide those who care for him, and to bring about a steady and safe restoration of health according to His will.
We pray as well for healing from past hurts. The Lord not only heals the body but also heals the mind and the emotions, lifting the scars and wounds that the past has left. The apostle Paul wrote that he counted his former life as loss for the sake of knowing Christ, and that he continued to count it as loss years later, forgetting what was behind and pressing forward. We encourage you not to live in the past, rehearsing old injuries, but to bring those hurts to Christ, to forgive as He has forgiven you, and to let Him make your present walk with Him the defining reality of your life.
So we pray that the Lord will set you both free from fear, break every hold of darkness, fill your home with His peace, grant your son safe and lasting health in his body, and bring deep inner healing from every past wound, that you may both grow in the excellency of knowing Christ Jesus our Lord and live in the confidence of His love and care.
