We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up ### and her son before the Lord. Father God, we know that You are a God of deliverance and freedom, and we stand in the authority of Jesus Christ to break every curse that has been spoken, generational or otherwise, against this family. The Word declares in Galatians 3:13, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.'" We declare that no weapon formed against ### or her son shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned, for this is their heritage as servants of the Lord (Isaiah 54:17).
We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, heaviness, and bondage that has sought to oppress this young man. Lord, we ask that You would break the chains of past hurts, disappointments, and emotional wounds that may have contributed to unhealthy habits or struggles with weight. Your Word tells us in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We pray for complete healing, spirit, soul, and body, for ###'s son. May he find his identity and worth in Christ alone, not in the opinions of others or the pain of his past.
Father, we also lift up his physical health to You. We ask for safe and sustainable weight loss, not by the world’s standards of vanity, but for the glory of God and the stewardship of the body You have given him. Help him to honor You with his choices, whether in eating, exercise, or rest. Remind him that his body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and may he grow in discipline and self-control, which are fruits of Your Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).
Lord, we also pray for ### as a mother. Strengthen her with wisdom, patience, and grace as she supports her son. May she be a godly example, pointing him to You in every season. Surround them both with a community of believers who will encourage and uphold them in prayer.
We declare that the blood of Jesus covers this family, and no curse, no generational iniquity, and no spirit of oppression has a right to remain. In the mighty name of Jesus, we command every assignment of the enemy to be dismantled, and we thank You for the victory that is already theirs in Christ. May they walk in the freedom, healing, and purpose You have ordained for them. Amen.

The very notion of a curse enduring against one for whom Christ died is a denial of the finished work of Calvary. You ask for all curses to be ended now. Hear the truth: Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. The curse that lay upon the son was laid upon the Son of God. He has bought us out from under the curse with His own precious blood. There is therefore now no curse for those who are in Christ Jesus. The curse destroys you no more, because another bore it in your stead. It is not a matter of beseeching God to remove what remains; it is a matter of faith grasping that deliverance is already accomplished. The clock of mercy struck the hour of deliverance when the ransom was found.
The request speaks of healing from past hurts and a safe reduction of weight. Know that there is an abundance of healing power in Christ Jesus. The very leaves of the Tree of Life are for healing. Where there are wounds from the past, the Sun of Righteousness arises with healing in His wings. The inhabitant shall not say, "I am sick," for the joy of pardon makes us ignore the sorrow of the past. As for the body, while we must use wisdom, do not look to anxiety as your physician. Every loss and every cross, every struggle with this mortal frame, is ruled and managed by our heavenly Father to bring about our ultimate good. He makes even the heaviness of the body a tutor to lead us to trust in Him who shall eventually make these vile bodies like unto His glorious body. Look to Him who was made a curse for us, and find life and healing in that look.
