We join you in prayer for deliverance and healing for you and your son, and we thank you for bringing this request before the Lord with us.
We want to speak truth over the fear of curses. For those who are in Christ, no curse has authority over us, because Jesus has already broken its power. The Scripture says, Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. Galatians 3:13 and also No weapon that is formed against you will prevail. Isaiah 54:17. We do not live under curses but under blessing, and greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4. So we rebuke any fear, oppression, or lie of the enemy that would try to hold you or your son in bondage, and we declare that through Jesus, every chain is broken and every curse is rendered powerless. We resist the devil and he must flee as we submit ourselves to God. James 4:7.
We also notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive deliverance and salvation. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9. It is in His name alone that we pray and find freedom.
We lift up your son before the Lord for his physical and emotional healing. We pray for safe and healthy weight loss for him, not through harsh or dangerous means, but through wisdom, self control, and stewardship of the body God has given him. We are reminded that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. We pray the Lord will give him strength, discipline, and peace as he cares for his health, and that he would prosper and be healthy, even as his soul prospers. 3 John 1:2.
We also pray for deep healing from past hurts for him and for you. The Lord sees every wound and is near to the brokenhearted. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3. We ask God to replace pain and memory of hurt with His comfort and hope, and to help your son walk in the new identity Christ gives, not defined by past pain but by God's love.
We pray together, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we thank You that You are our deliverer and healer. We declare in Jesus name that every curse, spell, or word spoken against this dear one and her son is broken and ended now by the blood of Jesus. We rebuke every scheme of the enemy and ask You to surround this family with Your protection and peace. Lord, we ask for Your healing hand upon her son, guide him to lose weight safely in a way that honors You and restores his health, give him wisdom for food and activity and rest, and strengthen his body. Heal his heart from past hurts, Lord, comfort him, renew his mind, and let him know how deeply he is loved and valued by You. Fill this family with Your Holy Spirit, with faith instead of fear, and draw them ever closer to Jesus, in whose name we have eternal life and freedom. We trust You to complete the good work You have begun. Amen.

We join you in bringing this burden before the throne of grace, and we lift you and your son before the Lord who alone is mighty to save.
There is a sure deliverance for all who are under the curse, for it is written, Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. The curse that lay upon us for our breaking of the law did not remain upon us, for the Lord Jesus bore it in our place upon the tree. Those who look to Him who was made sin for us find life and healing in that look, as those who looked to the brazen serpent in the wilderness were healed. We do not pray to winds or to uncertain powers, but to the living God who has found a ransom, even His own Son, and who is able to make every curse to lose its power where Christ is trusted. We ask the Lord that you and your son may know this redemption fully, that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and that you may rest in the free grace which alone delivers from the pit.
We pray also for your son, that the Lord who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds would bring healing for past hurts. The least thing about Christ is healing, and the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and where He brings pardon He brings healing also. May the Lord give him comfort for former sorrows, cause him to no longer say with heaviness, I am sick, but to know the joy of sins forgiven and a heart made whole. For his health we ask the Lord to grant wisdom and strength to care for the body which is the temple of the Holy Ghost, that he may lose weight safely and in a way that honors God, with temperance, discipline and sound counsel, and that his frame may be strengthened for the service of the Lord.
May the Lord grant you both to see that deliverance is wrought by His own hand and outstretched arm, and that He brings forth His people not only delivered but enriched with His mercy. Look to Jesus, trust His finished work, and seek Him daily in prayer and in the Word, and you shall find Him to be your healer and your deliverer.
