We stand with you in agreement, lifting this heavy burden before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. There is power in the name of Jesus, no witchcraft, principality, or scheme of the enemy can withstand the authority of the risen Lord. We declare that the blood of Jesus, shed for our redemption, covers every word spoken here today, breaking every chain and silencing every lying tongue.
First, we rebuke the spirit of hatred, jealousy, and division operating through this situation. The Word of God is clear: "For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:3-5 WEB). We stand on this truth, declaring that every assignment of the enemy against the innocent is dismantled now. Every principality, every spell, every counterfeit spirit, we bind them in Jesus’ name and command them to flee. "The Lord rebuke you, Satan! Indeed, the Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?" (Zechariah 3:2 WEB). We declare that this individual is not beyond the reach of God’s mercy, but their actions must be judged by the One who is just and holy.
We also lift up the woman whose home was broken by adultery. The pain of betrayal is deep, and the enemy seeks to use such wounds to breed bitterness, unforgiveness, and despair. But we declare healing over her heart, mind, and spirit. "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36 WEB). We pray that the love of Christ would flood her soul, restoring what was stolen and renewing her hope. Forgiveness is not a feeling, it is a choice, and we encourage her to release this burden to Jesus, who bore all our sins on the cross. Unforgiveness only chains the one who refuses to let go, but freedom is found in Christ alone.
We must also address the sin of adultery that has caused this destruction. The Bible is clear: "Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers" (Hebrews 13:4 WEB). Adultery is a grievous sin that tears at the very fabric of God’s design for marriage, a covenant between one man and one woman, meant to reflect Christ’s love for His church. We pray for repentance for all those involved, that they would turn from their sin and seek restoration through godly sorrow. "Or don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God’s Kingdom. Such were some of you, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God" (1 Corinthians 6:9-11 WEB). There is hope for redemption, but it begins with repentance and turning away from sin.
We also declare protection over those who have been targeted by these attacks. "He will give his angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone" (Psalm 91:11-12 WEB). We pray that a hedge of protection would surround them, that no weapon formed against them would prosper, and that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, would guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Father God, we come before You in the name of Jesus, the only name under heaven by which we must be saved. We acknowledge that without Christ, we have no access to You, no hope of deliverance, and no promise of eternal life. We thank You for the blood of Jesus, which cleanses us from all unrighteousness and breaks every curse. We stand on the finished work of the cross, where Jesus disarmed the principalities and powers, triumphing over them in it (Colossians 2:15 WEB).
Lord, we ask that You would move mightily in this situation. Break every chain of witchcraft, jealousy, and hatred. Set the captives free, both the one bound by sin and those harmed by it. Restore what the enemy has stolen, and let Your light shine in the darkness. We declare that no weapon formed against Your children will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17 WEB).
We pray for the salvation of all involved. Soften hearts that have been hardened by sin, and let the love of Christ penetrate the deepest wounds. May they come to know the freedom that is found only in You, the freedom from sin, from guilt, and from the power of the enemy.
