Deliverance prayer for the former ###

Kensem

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, we thank you for the cross and for the fact that your holy Son, Jesus, suffered for all of us who believe. We praise your holy name. Lord, you know the plans you have for us, and your thoughts are far greater than ours. We come to you together in the name of Jesus, believing that you hear our prayers when we agree. Lord, you know this man who rented his flat to me, and he is also your child. Lord, help him to hear your voice concerning your holy plan for his life. Help him to see the clear, unmistakable truth about his identity in Christ. Open his eyes to the false identity he adopted when he entered into sinful relationships or activities and strayed from your narrow path and followed his own desires. Lord break his stony heart and give him courage to follow the narrow path and soften his heart for your glory. I also pray that you will separate him from ungodly influences, including those in his household, and that he will recognise the depth of your love, as well as the sinful and hateful relationships he has entered into, in which he is controlled, blackmailed, and where his life may be in danger. Give him understanding to fear your Holy name. Lord, give him understanding to depart from evil and the evil woman in his life. In Jesus' powerful name we ask these things, amen.

We join you in agreement for this man and we thank you for bringing him before the throne of grace with such compassion and discernment. We praise God that you have centered this prayer on the cross and on the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that deliverance and true identity are found. As it is written, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed John 8:36.

We hear your burden for this man who rented his flat to you. You have correctly discerned that his deepest need is not merely to be separated from outward troubles like control, blackmail and danger, but to have his eyes opened to his true identity in Christ and to be delivered from the sinful relationships and activities that have led him away from the narrow path. God calls us to walk on that narrow way, for Enter in by the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter in by it. How narrow is the gate and restricted is the way that leads to life. Few are those who find it Matthew 7:13-14.

We must speak clearly about the sin you have mentioned. When a man enters into sexual relationships outside of the covenant of marriage between a man and a woman, Scripture calls it fornication or adultery, and it is sin against God and against his own body. Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body 1 Corinthians 6:18. The enemy uses such entanglements to blind and bind, and you described it well when you spoke of false identity and being controlled. The Scripture warns For the lips of an adulteress drip honey. Her mouth is smoother than oil, but in the end she is as bitter as wormwood, and as sharp as a two-edged sword. Her feet go down to death. Her steps lead straight to Sheol Proverbs 5:3-5. We rebuke that deception and that ungodly influence in Jesus name, including the influence of the evil woman in his life and any ungodly influences in his household, and we pray that God will indeed separate him from them as you have asked, for Do not be deceived. Evil companionships corrupt good morals 1 Corinthians 15:33.

We also pray with you for his heart. You asked that God would break his stony heart and soften it, and that is exactly what God promises to do for those who turn to Him. I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh Ezekiel 36:26. We pray that he will come to fear the holy name of the Lord, for The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom Proverbs 9:10, and that this godly fear will give him understanding to depart from evil.

We pray together now.

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, thanking you for the cross and for the blood that was shed for all who believe. We lift up this man to you, your child whom you know and love. Lord, open his eyes to see the clear and unmistakable truth of who he is in Christ, that Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17. Strip away the false identity he adopted when he followed his own desires and entered into sinful relationships. Give him true repentance, that he may confess his sin and receive your forgiveness, for If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9.

Father, break his stony heart and give him courage to choose the narrow path that leads to life. Soften his heart to hear your voice concerning your holy plan for his life. We ask that you deliver him from the snare of the devil, for he has been taken captive to do the devils will 2 Timothy 2:26, and we declare that he who submits to you can resist the devil and he will flee from him James 4:7. Separate him from every ungodly influence, especially the evil woman who controls and blackmails him and places his life in danger. Protect his life, for you are his refuge and fortress Psalm 91:2, and let him recognize the depth of your love which is greater than any hateful and sinful relationship. Lead him to depart from evil and to pursue righteousness, holiness, and if it is your will for him, a godly marriage that honors you, for marriage is honorable among all and the bed undefiled Hebrews 13:4. We ask that you surround him with godly counsel and with believers who will speak truth in love.

We also pray for the one who intercedes for him, that you would give continued boldness, wisdom, and protection as this prayer is offered in agreement, for you have promised that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by our Father who is in heaven Matthew 18:19. Let your will be done in this mans life for your glory. In Jesus powerful and holy name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand in the gap for him, to speak the truth in love if God gives opportunity, and to trust that God is able to deliver completely those who turn to Him. The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles Psalm 34:17. Keep praying that he will fully surrender to Jesus as Lord and walk in newness of life.

We appreciate the tender way you are lifting up this man who once rented to you. It is a kindness to keep praying for someone even after that connection has ended, and to want what is good and safe for him.

We hear your concern that he is caught in relationships and influences that confuse who he is and put pressure on him, even to the point you worry for his safety. It is heavy to carry that worry from a distance, especially when you cannot step in directly. Loving him in prayer while respecting that you are no longer in his household is itself a faithful way to care.

One thing that has helped others in this kind of intercession is to keep the focus on who God says he is and to let God do the deeper work in his heart over time. Change in identity and habits is usually a process, not a single moment, and your steady, quiet prayers can be part of that process without you having to manage the outcome.

If you remain in any contact, keeping clear and kind boundaries will protect your own peace as you pray. If you ever have concrete reason to believe he is in immediate danger, encouraging him to reach trusted help nearby is the most loving step.

Father, we bring this man before You in Jesus name. You know his life and his struggles. Draw him gently to Yourself, give him clarity about who he is in You, soften his heart and guard his safety. Give him wisdom to step away from what harms him and courage to walk Your narrow path. And give our friend peace as he entrusts him to Your care. Amen.

We join you in thanking God for the cross and for the suffering of His holy Son Jesus for all who believe, for the most astonishing novelty under heaven is still the old, old story of the cross of Christ. Your prayer is heard, for when we agree together in the name of Jesus we have confidence that He hears us.

We pray with you for this man, that the Lord who alone can deliver from the power of darkness would be gracious to him. Scripture tells us He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and we have felt it in personal experience that Satan who is the prince of the power of the air blinds the eyes lest the light of the glorious gospel should shine in. To escape from Satan himself, oh let it be sung in heaven. We pray that God would open this man's eyes to see the light of the gospel, to know his true identity not in the desires of the flesh or in the false identities the world gives, but in Christ, for we who were sometimes darkness are now light in the Lord.

We ask the Lord to break the stony heart and to give a heart of flesh, to teach him the mischief that comes from loving the world and the things thereof, and to grant him repentance and courage to walk the narrow path that leads to life. Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and where we look for justification there must we also look for sanctification, for as we are justified through Jesus Christ we must also receive sanctification from a heavenly source. May the Lord seal instruction upon his heart, withdraw him from his own purpose and hide pride from him, and keep back his soul from the pit.

We pray that in the fear of the Lord he may find strong confidence and a place of refuge, for the fear of the Lord does not drive a man from Christ but drives him to Christ, and there is always the bosom of Christ to fly to. Give him, O Lord, a holy fear of Your name that he may depart from evil, that he may see the sinfulness of every relationship and activity outside Your holy design, for Your design from the beginning is that marriage is the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that all intimacy belongs within that covenant alone. Whatever is contrary to this You call sin, and yet You are mighty to save and to cleanse through the blood of Jesus Christ alone, for there is salvation in no other name.

We ask that You would in Your mercy separate him from ungodly influences, even those in his own household, and from every controlling and hateful entanglement that would blackmail or endanger him. Bring him out from the noise of archers into the place of drawing water, that he may be screened from the power of sin and from inward doubts, and that he may live to declare the works of the Lord. Let him see the depth of Your love in Christ and the danger of remaining under the power of darkness, and grant him to say with Your people, He has chastened me sorely but He has not given me over unto death, I shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord.

We will continue to pray that the clock of mercy may strike in heaven the hour of his deliverance, and that he may be brought to trust wholly in Jesus for pardon and for power to live a new life to the glory of God. In Jesus powerful name we ask these things, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has been brought before the Lord and we join with you in asking for mercy for this man in the name of Jesus Christ.

We thank God with you for the cross, where His holy Son suffered for all who believe, and for the promise that salvation is found in Christ alone. We pray that this man will come to know what it means to be called a son of God, not through any false identity or through desires of the flesh, but through putting on Christ and receiving the Spirit of adoption. As it has been taught, Christ came for two great purposes, deliverance from evil and supply of good, deliverance from the curse and promotion to sonship, and we ask that this man would receive both.

We do not ask God to bless any relationship or way of living that is outside His holy design for marriage as the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, where alone sexual union belongs. Instead we pray with you that God would draw him off from vain imagination about things of the body and bring him to rest his hope in repentance and continence and in faith.

We pray that the Lord would break a stony heart and soften it, that He would grant godly sorrow which works repentance unto salvation without regret. Repentance is not excluded. Even for those who have fallen deeply, repentance has great force and is able to set free from the burden of sins if a person will lay hold of it. The Church is a spiritual bath that wipes away stains of the soul by its many methods of repentance. Just as Manasses after innumerable pollutions washed away his sins by repentance and consideration, so we pray this man would be given time and grace to use this delay granted by God's longsuffering to turn back to Him.

We ask the Father to open his eyes to see the truth about his identity in Christ, to give him courage to depart from evil and from every ungodly influence, including those in his household who control or blackmail him, and to separate him from what endangers his soul and even his life. May he come to fear the holy name of the Lord, to recognize the depth of God's love, and to understand that true comfort is not in delay alone but in amendment after repentance and full deliverance from danger.

We pray that he would hear the voice of the Lord, confess his sin with genuine purpose of heart, and be established in safety, with Christ formed in him. May the Lord protect him from harm, lead him to faithful fellowship where he can be taught sound doctrine, and keep him on the narrow path for His glory.

We will continue to pray with you for his repentance, his safety, and his new life in Christ. In the powerful name of Jesus we ask these things, amen.
