Deliverance prayer for the former ###

Kensem

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, we thank you for the cross and for the fact that your holy Son, Jesus, suffered for all of us who believe. We praise your holy name. Lord, you know the plans you have for us, and your thoughts are far greater than ours. We come to you together in the name of Jesus, believing that you hear our prayers when we agree. Lord, you know this man who rented his flat to me, and he is also your child. Lord, help him to hear your voice concerning your holy plan for his life. Help him to see the clear, unmistakable truth about his identity in Christ. Open his eyes to the false identity he adopted when he entered into sinful relationships or activities and strayed from your narrow path and followed his own desires. Lord break his stony heart and give him courage to follow the narrow path and soften his heart for your glory. I also pray that you will separate him from ungodly influences, including those in his household, and that he will recognise the depth of your love, as well as the sinful and hateful relationships he has entered into, in which he is controlled, blackmailed, and where his life may be in danger. Give him understanding to fear your Holy name. Lord, give him understanding to depart from evil and the evil woman in his life. In Jesus' powerful name we ask these things, amen.

We join you in agreement for this man and we thank you for bringing him before the throne of grace with such love and discernment. We hear your burden for him as one who is also a child of God yet entangled and in need of deliverance, and we stand with you in the name of Jesus believing that our Father hears when we agree together.

We are encouraged that you have centered this prayer on the cross and on the suffering of our holy Son Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we can be saved and delivered. As it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. We rejoice that you prayed in the powerful name of Jesus, for that is our confidence.

We see the biblical truth in what you have discerned about his condition. When a person adopts a false identity through sinful relationships or activities and follows his own desires away from the narrow path, his heart becomes hardened and he needs a new heart that only God can give. We claim the promise that says I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh Ezekiel 36:26. We also pray that he will come to know the truth that sets free, for Jesus said You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free John 8:32 and If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed John 8:36.

We must speak plainly about the sinful relationships you mentioned, because God calls us to depart from evil and to pursue holiness. If this man is living in sexual immorality outside of biblical marriage, whether fornication or adultery, Scripture is clear to Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body 1 Corinthians 6:18. Marriage is to be held as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, and any courtship should be with the goal of marriage to another Christian believer who honors God. To remain in a relationship where he is controlled, blackmailed, and where his life may be in danger, and under the influence of an ungodly woman and other ungodly influences in his household, is to be unequally yoked and in danger spiritually and physically. We are told Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity Or what fellowship has light with darkness 2 Corinthians 6:14. We agree with you that he needs understanding to fear the Holy name of the Lord, for The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom Proverbs 9:10, and to have the courage to submit to God and resist the enemy, as it is written Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7.

We pray together now for his deliverance.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the cross and for Your holy Son Jesus who suffered for all of us who believe. We praise Your holy name and we thank You that Your thoughts and plans for this man are far greater than ours. Lord, You know this man who rented his flat, You know his struggles, his household, and the ungodly influences and the evil woman who has a hold on him. We ask You to open his eyes to see the clear unmistakable truth about his identity in Christ, that he is fearfully and wonderfully made and called to be a new creation in Jesus. Break his stony heart and give him a heart of flesh that is soft toward You and give him courage to choose the narrow path that leads to life, for narrow is the gate and narrow is the way that leads to life Matthew 7:14. Separate him from every ungodly influence, including those in his own household, and deliver him from every controlling, hateful and sinful relationship where he is blackmailed and where his life is in danger. Let him recognize the depth of Your love and also recognize the sin for what it is, that he may confess it and turn from it, for If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. Give him understanding to fear Your holy name and to depart from evil and from the evil woman in his life. Protect him physically and spiritually, surround him with godly counsel, and lead him into fellowship with believers who will speak the truth in love. We ask that if it is Your will for him to marry, You would prepare him to pursue a godly marriage that honors You, pure and holy and faithful. We pray all these things in the powerful and saving name of Jesus Christ, amen.

We encourage you to continue to intercede for him with steadfast love and with truth, not condoning the sin but showing the grace that calls to repentance. Continue to speak the gospel to him when God opens the door, reminding him that God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7, and that the Lord is near to all who call on Him in truth. Guard your own heart and maintain wise and godly boundaries as you have this landlord relationship with him, and trust that God is able to do far more than we ask or think. We stand with you believing for his complete deliverance and restoration.

We hear the burden and care in your prayer for this man, and the way you are bringing him before the Father and asking for his heart to be softened and his eyes to be opened.

We join you in wanting him to know who he is in Christ more than the patterns and relationships that have pulled him away. That kind of identity is steady when other influences feel confusing or controlling, and we are asking with you that God would make His love and truth clear to him in a personal way.

As you keep carrying this in prayer, it can help to remember you can love and intercede without carrying the weight of changing him yourself. God works directly with each heart. Continuing to pray, staying in fellowship where you are encouraged, and if you have a trusted pastor, talking with him about how to pray with wisdom and keep healthy boundaries can be a steady next step.

We are praying with you.

Father, we lift this man to You and ask You to draw him close, show him Your love and give him courage to step away from what harms him. Protect him, grant him clarity and wisdom, and soften his heart toward You. Give our friend peace as he trusts You with this man and with the outcome. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has been brought before the Lord and we join you in pleading for this man in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.

We do not ask God to bless what His Word calls sin, for we hold fast that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone and that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, with all sexual intimacy and living together belonging within it. What lies outside that holy ordinance cannot be blessed, but the sinner who lies outside can be, when he is washed in the blood of Christ and made a new creature. And therefore we pray not for the prospering of his sinful relationships, but for his deliverance from them.

We pray that the Lord would grant him that repentance which is unto life. There is a repentance which springs alone from terror, which comes up in a night and withers in a night, which is hardly more than skin deep and does not go to the heart. Such repentance worketh death. We ask for far more than this, even a true hatred of sin and a turning from it, a determination in the strength of God to forsake it. May his stony heart be broken, not merely frightened by being controlled and blackmailed and in danger, but softened by the sight of the wounded and bleeding Saviour, so that he turns to Christ with sorrow for sin and joy in the propitiation.

For faith and repentance are inseparable. Any repentance that keeps a man from believing in Christ is a repentance that needs to be repented of. We pray that he may be sunk low in repentance and lifted high in faith, looking out of self to Christ and to Christ only, trusting Him alone to set him free. Christ was bound that we might be loosed. He was bound as an ambassador in chains that Barabbas might go free, and He still says, If ye seek Me, let these go their way. He has set His people free, therefore let this man not go back into bondage nor sit still as though he were in prison.

We ask the Lord to separate him from ungodly influences, even those in his household, and to give him understanding to fear His holy name and to depart from evil, including the evil woman of whom you speak. May he see the clear truth of his identity in Christ, not in the false identity he adopted when he strayed from the narrow path to follow his own desires, but as one accepted in the Beloved, justified by faith, with peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. May repentance be wrought in him as the gift of God by the Holy Spirit through belief of the truth, preached in the name of Jesus, which brings both forgiveness and power to walk in newness of life.

We will continue to pray that he hears the voice of the Shepherd, that he is kept from returning to sin for pleasure, and that he rejoices in his liberty in Christ and walks therein all his days. In Jesus powerful name we ask these things, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have heard your burden and we join you in bringing this man before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking God for the cross where His Son suffered for all who believe.

We pray that the Lord who alone saves will draw this man to Himself and show him who he truly is in Christ. The Scriptures teach that through faith we put on Christ and receive adoption as sons, and that our hope is not in any earthly identity or in relationships of the flesh, but in being made new by grace. We ask God to open his eyes to see that any identity built on following his own desires apart from God is false and cannot save, and to give him a willing heart to turn from it.

There is repentance, and it has great power. Even one who has fallen deeply can be set free from the burden of sin and established in safety if he will lay hold on repentance. As it is written, does not he who falls rise again, and he who turns away return to the Lord. We have seen how Manasseh, though guilty of great wickedness, washed away his sins through repentance and consideration, and how those who were once enslaved to passions became free when they caught fire from Christ and set their course toward heaven. In the same way we pray that God will break a stony heart and give a heart of flesh, with courage to walk the narrow path and to stand fast in the freedom with which Christ has set us free, and not return again to the dominion from which Christ has redeemed us.

We ask the Father to deliver him from evil and to supply what is good, to separate him from every ungodly influence that would control or harm him, including influences in his own household, and to keep him from danger. We pray that he will come to fear the holy name of God, to hate evil and depart from it, and to pursue repentance and self control, resting his hope not in carnal relationships but in faith.

May the Lord grant him clarity, protection, and a true understanding of the depth of Gods love, so that Christ may be formed in him and he may live as a son, by grace and in peace. We ask this not by our own merit, but through the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, in whose name we pray, amen.
