Deliverance and Protection

Beloved of All
Lord, you see the way my sibling has been manifesting evil towards me, while hiding it from others. May it be exposed , rendered powerless, and cast out in JESUS name. May he experience a repentant heart , I pray

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this matter of spiritual warfare within your family. The Word of God is clear: "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12). We recognize that the evil you describe is not merely human conflict but a manifestation of darkness that must be confronted in the authority of Jesus Christ.

First, we rebuke every spirit of deception, division, and hatred that has taken root in this situation. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand in agreement with you that every hidden work of darkness be exposed by the light of Christ. "But all things that are exposed are revealed by the light, for everything that reveals is light" (Ephesians 5:13). We pray that the Holy Spirit would bring conviction, not condemnation, to your sibling’s heart, leading to genuine repentance and restoration.

We also pray for your protection, beloved. The psalmist declares, "The Lord is your keeper. The Lord is your shade on your right hand. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul" (Psalm 121:5-7). We ask the Lord to surround you with His angels, to be a shield about you, and to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. You are not alone in this battle, God sees, God knows, and God will act on your behalf.

We must also address the importance of forgiveness and love, even in the face of betrayal. Jesus commands us, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you" (Matthew 5:44). This does not mean ignoring sin or enabling wickedness, but it does mean releasing bitterness and trusting God to be the righteous Judge. We pray that your heart would be softened toward your sibling, even as you stand firm against the spiritual forces at work.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name. We declare that every spirit of darkness operating in this situation must bow to the authority of Your Son. We ask You to expose every hidden work of evil, to break every chain of deception, and to render powerless every scheme of the enemy. Lord, we pray for a spirit of repentance to fall upon this sibling, soften their heart, open their eyes to the truth, and draw them back to You.

Father, we ask for Your divine protection over this dear one who has been targeted. Surround them with Your angels, cover them with the blood of Jesus, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Strengthen them in their faith, remind them that You are their refuge and fortress, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

We also ask for wisdom for this family. Give them discernment to recognize the spiritual battle at hand and the courage to stand firm in truth. Help them to love one another as You have loved us, even in the midst of conflict. May Your light shine in the darkness, and may Your will be done in this situation.

We thank You, Lord, that You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We trust in Your promise that if we confess our sins, You are faithful to restore us. We declare that victory is already won through the cross of Christ, and we stand on that truth today.

In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

It is deeply painful when someone close to you, especially a sibling you share so much history with, treats you in ways that feel hidden and destructive. We hear the ache in your words, and we join you in asking for God’s protection and for truth to surface.

We are praying with you that whatever darkness is driving your brother’s actions would be rendered powerless, and that his heart would genuinely turn. The kind of repentance that lasts is never just a flash of remorse or fear of being found out. True, godly sorrow leads to a change of direction, a new mind and a new way of living. That is what we are asking the Lord to work in him, far beyond just exposure.

As you wait and pray, it can be grounding to anchor yourself in Christ’s peace rather than watching every sign. Sometimes carrying a burden like this alone makes it heavier. If you have a wise pastor or a mature believer you trust, it may help to share what you are experiencing in a measured way, not to broadcast it, but so you have prayer support and practical guidance right where you are. You do not need to navigate this isolation or the weight of it by yourself.

We are praying for your safety, for clarity, and for the Holy Spirit to surround you with a sense of His presence. May He shield your heart from bitterness and give you steady hope, even when the situation feels hidden from others.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this sibling and the one who loves them enough to pray this way. We ask for Your protective hand to cover our friend and for every scheme meant for harm to be frustrated and exposed in Your time. Break any hold of evil on this brother’s life. Grant him a truly repentant heart, not a shallow regret, but a deep turning toward You and toward what is right. Give our friend wisdom, peace, and a support system to walk through this. In Your name we ask, amen.

You cry out for deliverance from an evil spirit in your brother, and rightly so, for the Lord sees all the secret workings of the heart. There is no darkness nor shadow of death where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves. When the malice of a brother is concealed from the eyes of men, it lies naked and bare before the gaze of Him with whom we have to do. Take comfort in this: the clock of mercy will strike at the hour appointed, and God will bring forth deliverance for His own. Yet remember, the deliverance we seek must be worked not merely by the exposure of sin, but by the bestowment of repentance. True repentance is no shiver of the flesh, no transient terror at the sight of judgment; it is a gift of God, a turning of the whole soul to Christ, wrought by the Spirit. It makes a rainbow with tears of grief for sin and glances of hope at the great finished work of Jesus. Pray, then, that your brother be granted a repentance that gives glory to God, a repentance that ejects sin as an evil tenant and admits Christ to be the sole master of the heart. Where there is no repentance, there can be no remission; but where there is true repentance, there is full and free forgiveness of all sins.

Be not impatient, nor let the arrow of despair whisper that God’s ear is shut. He who found a ransom for sinners, by giving His own Son to die in their stead, is not slack concerning His promise. He invented a way of deliverance from the pit, and none can frustrate His saving work. The Lord Jesus Christ is exalted to give repentance and remission of sins. Cry to Him, then, with humble boldness. As for your own soul, see that you test your own repentance. Is it practical? Does it last, and do you walk in holiness without hindrance? The liberty of a child of God is to run in the statutes of the Lord. Wait on Him who brings His people forth with silver and gold and makes their chains fall off. In His time, hidden things shall be brought to light, the power of evil rendered powerless, and perhaps, even now, the Lord is preparing your brother’s heart to receive the hidden manna of His grace.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The evil that hides itself is the most dangerous kind, for it festers in darkness and thinks it escapes the eye of God. Yet nothing is hidden that will not be made manifest. When a person wraps himself in secrecy to do harm, he only prepares a greater exposure for himself. The very attempt to cover sin with more sin ensures it will be proclaimed from the housetops. And so your prayer is answered even before you speak it: the Lord sees what others do not, and in His time He pulls down every hidden thing of shame.

But consider carefully what deliverance means. It is not enough that the wickedness be uncovered and stopped. For if the heart remains unchanged, the devil will simply lead the person to another end just as bad, or worse. Judas saw his sin exposed before the chief priests, and he felt remorse, but it was a remorse without repentance, a prideful grief that drove him to destroy himself. Esau wept, but his tears were of anger and wounded pride, not of a soul turning back to God. True repentance is not merely sorrow at being found out, nor even casting away the silver pieces of a particular sin. True repentance condemns the wickedness itself, turns from it entirely, and flees to the mercy of God for cleansing.

Pray then that your sibling be granted such a repentance, the kind that brings life, not death. Pray that the hidden evil be dragged into the light, not for his shame alone but for his healing. Ask that he may not only feel the bitterness of exposure but taste the sweetness of forgiveness. For no one can be renewed by tears alone, no matter how copious; only the grace of Christ can wash away the stain. And that grace is given to those who humble themselves and confess, who renounce the hidden things of shame and walk openly in the truth.

As for your own soul, take care that this trial does not become a hidden sin in you. Guard against a spirit of vengeance or secret satisfaction at his downfall. The Lord who delivers you from the lion’s mouth will also deliver you from every evil work, including the poison of resentment. Commit yourself to Him who judges justly. He who rescued Paul from the lion will sustain you, whether He grants immediate deliverance or calls you to endure for a little while. The true victory is not seeing your sibling humiliated, but seeing him clothed in his right mind, sitting at the feet of Jesus.

What you are facing is real, and your prayer reflects a heart that longs for righteousness. The fear of the Lord is to hate evil, and that holy hatred is the first step toward true wisdom. When someone close to us, even a sibling, secretly works against us, the pain cuts deep. But God sees what is hidden in darkness, and He is not indifferent to such things.

The Scriptures are clear that evil carries within it the seed of its own undoing. It destroys the one who practices it, warping the heart and mind until they are caught in their own traps. That does not mean we gloat or take matters into our own hands. We are commanded not to return evil for evil, but to commit the whole situation to the Lord. When I have tried to defend myself, I have often made a mess of things. But when I have entrusted the outcome to God, He has moved in ways I could not. He alone judges righteously.

Do not misinterpret God’s patience. Because sentence against an evil work is not carried out instantly, many imagine they are getting away with it. That is a dangerous mistake. His delay is an invitation to repentance. So pray for your sibling with that truth firmly in mind. There is an enormous difference between being sorry for getting caught or for the consequences and true repentance that turns resolutely away from the evil itself. Ask the Lord to grant him a genuine change of heart, not just fleeting remorse. That is the only path to lasting deliverance and healing.

For your own soul, guard it carefully. Do not envy those who seem to prosper in their devious ways. Their candle will be put out, but the Lord redeems the soul of His servants. Those who trust in Him will never be desolate. Keep your heart anchored in the fear of the Lord, depart from all evil yourself, and let His commandments be your guide. That will bring health to your spirit and preserve you from bitterness.

Commit this to God. Pray for the exposure of what is hidden, but leave the timing and the means to Him. Your part is to walk in wisdom, refuse any partnership with evil, and fix your eyes on Christ. He is your deliverer and your shield.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past days. It has been our heart to join with you, lifting up your sibling before the throne of grace, asking our Heavenly Father for deliverance, protection, and divine intervention. We have prayed earnestly that the evil manifesting in secret would be exposed in the light of Christ, rendered powerless, and cast out in the mighty name of Jesus. We have asked God to soften your sibling’s heart, drawing them to repentance and restoration, and we continue to trust in His perfect timing and will.

If God has answered this prayer in any way—whether through a breakthrough, a change in circumstances, or a peace that surpasses understanding—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be a source of strength and hope for others walking through similar trials.

If, however, the situation remains unchanged or the battle still feels heavy, please know we are here to stand with you again. Post this request anew, and we will continue to intercede on your behalf, believing with you for God’s power to move in ways only He can. May the Lord surround you with His peace, shield you with His presence, and fill you with the assurance that He is at work, even when the outcome is not yet seen.

We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
