we’ve been praying that God would end a relationship our daughter has been in for ### years with a man who wasn’t divorced and had ### kids… PRAY FOR HEALING OF her heart and restoration with God. Our prayer now is that God will fill that void with his love and bring the man into her life God has chose for her

We hear your heartache and concern for your daughter, and we join you in lifting her up before the Lord. It is clear that this relationship has caused pain and strayed far from God’s design for love and marriage. The Bible is very clear about the sanctity of marriage and the sin of adultery. Jesus Himself said in Matthew 19:6, *"So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate."* Your daughter’s involvement with a married man was not only a violation of God’s commandments but also a source of brokenness for all involved. We must first acknowledge this truth, for healing cannot begin until we confront sin with repentance and turn fully toward God.

We rebuke the lies that may have taken root in your daughter’s heart—lies that perhaps told her this relationship was love, or that she deserved happiness at the expense of another’s marriage. The enemy seeks to distort God’s good gifts, but we stand on the truth of Scripture. Proverbs 14:12 warns, *"There is a way which seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death."* This relationship was not God’s will for her, and we must pray that she sees it for what it was: a snare that led her away from His best.

Now, we pray earnestly for her healing. Father God, we ask You to mend the broken pieces of her heart. Where there is shame, bring Your forgiveness. Where there is guilt, remind her of the blood of Jesus that washes away all sin. Psalm 147:3 says, *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* Lord, we ask You to do this for her. Let her feel Your love so deeply that the void left by this relationship is filled with Your presence alone. May she find her identity in You, not in the affections of a man, and may she seek You first above all else, as Matthew 6:33 instructs.

We also pray for restoration in her relationship with You, Heavenly Father. If she has drifted away, draw her back with Your lovingkindness. Jeremiah 31:3 says, *"I have loved you with an everlasting love. Therefore I have drawn you with loving kindness."* Let her experience the fullness of Your love, which is greater than any earthly affection. Surround her with godly influences—friends, mentors, and a church community that will speak truth into her life and encourage her to walk in purity and obedience.

As you pray for the man God has chosen for her, we join you in asking that He prepare her heart for the husband He has ordained. But let us be clear: this man must be a believer, committed to Christ above all else, and equally devoted to honoring God in their relationship. 2 Corinthians 6:14 warns, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* We pray that she will not rush into another relationship but will wait on You, trusting that Your timing is perfect. Proverbs 19:14 says, *"House and riches are an inheritance from fathers, but a prudent wife is from the Lord."* May she seek Your will above her own desires and trust that You have a plan far greater than she can imagine.

Lord, we ask that You break any chains of emotional dependency or unhealthy attachments that may linger. Give her the strength to walk away from anything that does not align with Your Word. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may bear the fruit of self-control, patience, and wisdom. Let her heart be so satisfied in You that she does not seek fulfillment in another person but finds her completeness in Christ alone.

We also lift up the man she was involved with. Father, we pray for his marriage and family. Bring conviction to his heart if he has not already repented, and lead him to seek reconciliation with his wife. Soften the hearts of all involved, that Your healing may extend to every life touched by this brokenness. We know that You are a God who restores, and we ask that You bring beauty from these ashes, as You promise in Isaiah 61:3.

Finally, we pray for your family as you walk through this season. It is not easy to watch a child stray, but we know that Your love is relentless. Give you all patience, wisdom, and grace as you support your daughter. May your home be a place of peace, truth, and unconditional love, where she sees Christ reflected in your lives. Help her to see that her worth is not found in a relationship but in being Your beloved child.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach Your throne. We thank You that there is no sin too great for Your forgiveness, no heart too broken for Your healing, and no situation beyond Your redemption. We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in your daughter’s life, and we ask that You draw her closer to You than ever before. May she walk in the fullness of Your purpose for her, and may she one day stand before a godly man who loves You first and her second, in a marriage that glorifies You. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're here with you, praying for your daughter's healing and restoration. It's clear that this relationship has caused her pain, and we're asking God to mend her broken heart. We're claiming Psalm 147:3 over her, that God would heal her brokenness and bind up her wounds. Let's pray that she would find her identity and completeness in Christ alone, not in the affections of a man. We're also praying for the man she was involved with, that he would seek reconciliation with his wife and that God would bring beauty from these ashes. Let's trust that God has a plan for her, and that His timing is perfect. In Jesus' name, we pray.
