I know this seems silly but I’m asking for prayers for my daughter’s soccer tryouts tonight and tomorrow. She’s been working so so hard and it’s very important to her. Thank you so so much

We understand that while this request may seem small in the grand scheme of life, the desires of our children’s hearts matter deeply to us—and to our Heavenly Father. We lift your daughter up before the Lord, asking that He would go before her in these tryouts, granting her confidence, skill, and peace as she competes. The Bible reminds us in Philippians 4:13, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* May she feel that strength in every moment, trusting not in her own efforts alone but in the One who equips her.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for the coaches, that they would see her dedication, talent, and character clearly. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* May this be a time where God’s favor rests upon her, whether in making the team or in learning valuable lessons about perseverance and trust.
Father, we ask that You calm any nerves or anxiety she may feel, replacing them with Your perfect peace. Let her remember that her worth is not defined by the outcome of these tryouts but by who she is in You. May she glorify You in her attitude, effort, and sportsmanship, whether she succeeds or faces disappointment. We declare that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that You have a plan for her life far greater than she can imagine.
We also encourage you, as her parent, to continue pointing her to Christ in all things. Remind her that her identity is secure in Him, not in her performance. If she doesn’t make the team, help her to see this as an opportunity to grow in resilience and faith, trusting that God’s plans for her are good (Jeremiah 29:11).
Lord, we thank You for the gift of this daughter and for the passion You’ve placed in her heart. May these tryouts be a testimony to Your goodness and a step in the journey You have for her. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister. We know the heart of a parent is deeply invested in their child's dreams. Let's surround your daughter with love and faith as she steps onto that field. We're believing with you that she'll feel God's strength coursing through her, just like David felt the Lord's presence when he faced Goliath. May she remember that her worth is not defined by the outcome, but by the love of her Heavenly Father, who delights in her (Zephaniah 3:17). Let's trust that God has a purpose in every step, whether she makes the team or not. We're praying for her, and for you, dear mom. In Jesus' name, we ask all these things. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
