Good and Faithful Servant
I'm currently courting with someone. Please pray for his success at work and goodness and blessings on his life as a whole. Thank you.

We hear your heart and lift up your courtship before the Lord with joy, for it is a season of intentionality and purpose, guided by the desire to honor God in the journey toward marriage. We are grateful that you seek His will in this relationship, and we stand with you in prayer.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Author of love and the One who establishes godly unions. We ask for Your favor and blessing upon this man’s work, that You would grant him success, wisdom, and diligence in all he puts his hands to. May his labor bring glory to Your name and provide for the needs of his household as he prepares for the responsibilities of marriage. Bless him with integrity, perseverance, and opportunities to reflect Your character in his workplace. Let Your peace guard his heart and mind, and may he find fulfillment in serving You through his vocation.

Lord, we also pray for his life as a whole, that You would pour out Your goodness upon him. Strengthen his faith, deepen his walk with You, and surround him with godly influences. May he grow in wisdom, humility, and love, becoming the man You have called him to be, both as a future husband and as a servant of Your kingdom. Protect him from temptation, discouragement, and the snares of the enemy, and let Your Holy Spirit guide his steps daily.

We rejoice in the purpose of courtship, which is to discern whether this relationship is aligned with Your will for marriage. Father, we ask that You would continue to unite their hearts in Christ, fostering a bond built on mutual faith, respect, and shared devotion to You. May their time together be marked by purity, selflessness, and a shared vision for a marriage that honors You. Guard their hearts and minds from any impurity or distraction, and let their relationship be a testimony to Your design for love and commitment.

We also want to gently remind you both that courtship is a season of preparation, not just for marriage, but for the lifelong covenant that marriage represents. It is a time to seek the Lord together, to grow in prayer and accountability, and to lay a foundation that will withstand the tests of time. Let this season be one of joy, patience, and trust in God’s timing, knowing that He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in both of your lives.

May the Lord bless you both abundantly as you seek Him first in this journey. We pray that He would draw you closer to one another and, more importantly, closer to Himself. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

It's a lovely thing when someone in a courtship turns their heart toward blessing the other person. We're glad you've shared this with us, and we're honored to stand with you in prayer for him.

Rather than just hoping things go well, you've asked for God's active goodness, his success at work, his whole life wrapped in God's kindness. That's a powerful place to pray from. A grounded truth that helps us: God knows his road, his challenges, and his gifts better than we do, and He delights when we bring ordinary concerns like work to Him. So keep bringing those requests, and expect that the Lord sees him and cares. Sometimes the best next step is to turn your love into intercession that gets specific over time. This week, you might quietly ask him, "What would you most like prayer for right now?" Then carry that intentionally before the Lord. You don't need to be his savior; you can be the one who lunches with him in prayer.

We're praying with you now.

Lord Jesus, we lift this man to You. Please guide his work, give him favor where it matters, and help him find satisfaction and provision in his labor. Pour Your goodness and every needed blessing into his life, health, wisdom, protection, and the deep joy of walking with You. Let his whole life flourish under Your care. And strengthen this courtship as both of them seek You first. Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

I note your request for prayer concerning the young man with whom you are courting, and that you desire success in his labor, and goodness and blessings upon all his life. It is right to bring every care before the throne of grace, for the Lord delights to be inquired of by His children. Yet let me press upon your heart a sweet and solemn truth: the choicest blessings are not those which perish with the using, but the spiritual blessings which are ours in Christ Jesus. These are the rarest, the richest, the most enduring, priceless in value, and they come to no man by chance, but according as God has chosen him in Christ before the foundation of the world.

Therefore, while I do pray that his daily work may prosper, I would more earnestly entreat you to seek for him that inward work of grace which alone makes a man truly blessed. A new heart, not one of wax softened by mere nature, but a heart of flesh made tender by the Divine Spirit, this is the great need. All outward goodness is but a morning cloud that soon vanishes if there is no enduring work within. The goodness of God in temporal things is meant to lead a man to repentance; it is a token that the Good Shepherd is near, ready to gather the lambs in His arms and carry them in His bosom.

Pray then, with all your might, that this dear friend would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living, not merely in comfortable circumstances, but in a soul-satisfying sight of God’s glory in the face of Jesus Christ. Herein is goodness: that God gave His Son to redeem sinners. That is the blessing which will never fade. I will join you in asking that the Lord would precede him with the blessings of goodness, and that his life may become a clear testimony to the grace which keeps men from turning aside into hypocrisy. May you both learn to trust the Shepherd who feeds His flock, and to serve Him with gladness, singing as you row toward the heavenly shore. Let your heart be set upon covenant blessings, which are yea and amen in Christ, and you shall never faint.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask prayer for this man’s success and for blessings upon his life, and I join you in that petition with all my heart. Yet let us not forget what manner of blessing we seek, nor from what hand it comes. The Lord who made heaven and earth and who sent His Son for our salvation does not cease to shower good things even upon those who know Him not, upon the just and the unjust alike. But His greatest blessings are often disguised, arriving in troubles and want, for it is in affliction that faith is purified and genuine thanksgiving learned.

If you pray only for earthly prosperity, you shrink the bounty of God to a pittance. Give thanks instead for everything that befalls him, whether success or hardship, for even trials work an eternal weight of glory when received with trust. A man is not blessed because his work flourishes for a season; the day will declare each one’s labor with fire, testing what sort it is. The work that endures is faith working through love, leading both of you deeper into the gospel.

So pray like this: that you both may be counted worthy of God’s calling, that you may abound not merely in the sufficiency of this world but in every good work, and that your courtship may be built on the one foundation, Jesus Christ, with gold and costly stones rather than wood and stubble. If you seek these things first, all else will be added as a wise Father sees fit. Go then, and commit him daily to the Lord, giving thanks in all circumstances. For it is not the one who gathers many accomplishments who stands blessed, but he who has learned to say in every state, “Lord, I thank Thee.”

It is a good and natural thing to bring the desires of your heart to God, especially as you seek to honor Him in this courtship. You are asking for success in his work and for goodness and blessings over his life, and I will join you in praying toward that end. But as we lift those requests, let us remember where all true blessing is anchored.

The deepest blessing any of us can know is not tied to a job promotion or the smoothness of our circumstances. It is found in the finished work of Jesus Christ. Everything God gives us flows from that completed act of redemption. Jesus came to do the will of the Father and to finish that work, and on the cross He declared it done. When we believe on Him, we are accepted in the Beloved, not because of our own striving or performance, but because of His grace. That is the foundation that can never be shaken, no matter what happens in the workplace.

So pray for his success, yes, but let that prayer rest on the confidence that God’s favor toward him is not earned by his achievements or undone by his setbacks. We enter into blessing by faith in the promise, not by our own works. In the new covenant, God blesses us on the basis of what Christ has already accomplished. That does not mean we become passive; a man is called to work diligently and to provide, as Scripture exhorts. But the motive shifts from trying to secure God’s response to responding to His grace with a life of trust and obedience. When he works, he does so as one who is already blessed, already loved, already righteous in Christ.

There is also this: God often does a work in us before He does a work through us. That inward work can sometimes feel uncomfortable, even painful, as He shapes character and chips away at self-reliance. So pray not only for outward success, but for God to be working deeply in his heart, producing patience, humility, and a quiet confidence in the Lord. The blessings that truly overtake us are the ones that conform us to the image of Christ.

Let your intercession be filled with rest. You are not trying to twist God’s arm by your goodness or his efforts. You come boldly before the throne of grace because of what Jesus has already done. And from that place of rest, you can ask for his daily bread, his protection, and his flourishing, knowing that your heavenly Father delights to give good gifts to His children. Trust that the One who began a good work in him will carry it on to completion, and that the blessings tied to Abraham have come to you both through Jesus, making you heirs of every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places.
