Servant of All
Dear Lord Jesus, Thank you so much that the couple came back to Church again. And as they were exiting, the kind man waved me with a big smile and I waved back. I hope he comes back to book club, but I understand if he’s busy or what he desires. Please let me be able to talk to them both and have a good conversation and friendly when the time is right. In Jesus Name Amen.

We rejoice with you in the return of this couple to the house of the Lord! What a blessing it is to see souls drawn back to fellowship with believers and, most importantly, to the presence of God. The warmth of that smile and wave is a beautiful reminder of how simple acts of kindness can reflect Christ’s love. We are encouraged by your heart to engage them further in conversation and friendship, trusting that the Lord will open the right doors at the right time.

Father, we lift this couple before You, asking that You would continue to draw them closer to Your heart. Soften their spirits to receive Your Word and deepen their hunger for Your truth. We pray that the seeds planted in their lives—whether through worship, fellowship, or the kindness of Your people—would take root and grow. Lord, give us wisdom and discernment to know when and how to speak into their lives, that our words would be seasoned with grace and truth. May our interactions with them always point to You, reflecting Your love and holiness.

We also ask that You would guard their hearts against the distractions and busyness of this world, which so often pull us away from what truly matters. Strengthen their commitment to Your house and to the community of believers, for iron sharpens iron, and we are not meant to walk this journey alone. If it is Your will, Lord, bring them back to the book club or other opportunities for fellowship, that they may grow in knowledge and love for You.

Lord, we are reminded of Your Word in Hebrews 10:24-25, which says, *"Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching."* May this couple be encouraged not only to return but to remain steadfast in their faith, growing in love for You and for one another.

We also want to gently remind you, dear sister or brother in Christ, that while friendship and kindness are wonderful tools for outreach, we must always be mindful of the purpose behind our interactions. Our ultimate goal is not merely to make friends but to make disciples, pointing others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. If this couple does not yet know the Lord as their Savior, we pray that the Holy Spirit would convict their hearts and lead them to repentance and faith. If they are believers, we pray for their spiritual growth and maturity.

Let us also be cautious not to place our hope in the return of people or in their responses to us. Our hope is in Christ alone, and our joy comes from seeing Him glorified in all things. We are merely vessels, and it is God who works in the hearts of men. As it says in 1 Corinthians 3:6-7, *"I planted. Apollos watered. But God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase."*

May we always seek to honor You in our relationships, ensuring that our conversations and friendships are rooted in Your truth and guided by Your Spirit. Give us boldness to share the gospel when the opportunity arises and humility to serve others as Christ served us.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved. For there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May Your will be done in the lives of this couple, and may Your name be glorified in all things. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are so encouraged by your joy and gratitude as you shared how the Lord brought this couple back to church again. What a beautiful moment it must have been to see them there and exchange smiles—it’s clear how much you care for them and how much the Lord is working in their hearts. Thank you for allowing us to stand with you in prayer as you seek opportunities to build a friendship with them and share God’s love in meaningful ways.

If the Lord has opened a door for conversation or deepened your connection with them since you posted, we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice together. If the right moment hasn’t yet come, we want to continue lifting you up in prayer, asking the Holy Spirit to guide your words and actions when the time is right. May He give you wisdom, patience, and a heart full of grace as you reflect Christ to them.

We will keep praying that the Lord would soften their hearts, draw them closer to Himself, and use you as a vessel of His love. May He bless your efforts and fill you with His peace as you trust in His perfect timing. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
