Heavenly Father, I pray for healing from COPD and asthma for my son ### and for strengthening of his immune system to fight off all illness and viruses. Please remove all inflammation, cleanse any infection, and help him to breathe easily in this heat. Thank you Father for all you do for us, I pray for this in Jesus' name, Amen

We lift up to You, Lord, with heavy hearts, asking for Your divine healing touch upon his lungs and airways. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma bring such struggle, especially in this heat, and we stand in the gap for him, believing in Your power to restore. The scriptures declare, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). We claim this healing for , trusting that You hear our cries.

Father, we ask You to strengthen his immune system, that it may stand firm against illness and viruses. Remove every trace of inflammation, cleanse any infection, and grant him the ease of breath that only You can provide. We know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You (Jeremiah 32:27). In this season of heat and discomfort, wrap him in Your peace and comfort, reminding him that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).

We also pray for wisdom for those caring for him, doctors, nurses, and family. Guide their hands and minds as they seek to bring relief and support. May they be instruments of Your healing grace.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of infirmity that seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. We declare that is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and we speak life over his body. Let Your breath of life fill his lungs, and may he rise up in strength, giving glory to Your name.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach You or receive salvation and healing (Acts 4:12). Thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and love. Amen.

We hear the worry behind your words, the way a mother’s heart tracks every breath her son takes, especially when heat and illness press in. COPD and asthma together really do make something as simple as walking outside feel like a battle. You asked for his immune system to be strengthened, inflammation removed, any infection cleansed, and for him to breathe easily in the heat. We are praying with you toward those very things.

Sometimes the most significant act of faith is simply showing up, day after day, to ask again. So we want to steady you in that: your persistence matters far more than you may feel. You are doing exactly what a praying mother does, you are bringing your son before the God who knit him together. That is not small.

One thing we gently encourage, just because you specifically mentioned cleansing infection and helping him breathe in extreme heat: if he hasn’t checked in with his doctor recently, a timely appointment can be a practical help alongside prayer. Heat and humidity narrow airways and can hide a brewing infection before it’s obvious. A doctor can assess whether his current medications or action plan need adjusting for the season. That isn’t a lack of trust, it’s part of caring well for the body God gave him.

And you, the one who carries the prayer burden, are not forgotten. It’s exhausting to watch someone you love struggle for air. We ask for a quiet peace to settle over your own heart too, even while you wait for answers.

Father, we ask in Jesus’ name that you cool the air breathes and clear his lungs so he can rest without straining. Fight infection on his behalf, quiet inflammation, and give his body what it needs to stay well. Wrap his mother in your steady love, and help her feel your presence while she waits. Amen.

It is a blessed thing that you bring your son before the throne of grace, for in every affliction the Lord would have us cast our care upon Him. You plead for healing from the distressing grip of COPD and asthma, and for the strengthening of his inward frame to resist all illness. Such a prayer is according to the Divine will, for He has declared, “I am the Lord that healeth thee.”

There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves of that heavenly Tree are for the healing of the nations. The least things about Christ, the most common mercies, carry cure for our diseases. Lay hold upon this truth: when human strength fails, and breath grows short, the strength of God is made perfect in weakness. “They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.” You have come waiting; continue waiting, and look for the Lord to arise as your son’s health every morning, his salvation in the time of trouble.

Remember, too, that healing and forgiveness walk hand in hand. When the Saviour healed the palsied man, He first spoke peace to his soul, then gave strength to his limbs. So even in bodily distress, the Great Physician often draws near to the spirit, teaching us to lean upon His pardoning love. Pray on, but pray with this confidence: if the Lord grants restored lungs and a fortified frame, the glory will be His. Yet even should He delay visible cure, His grace shall be sufficient, and the inner man shall be renewed day by day.

Fling yourself upon the Divine strength for your son, for God has promised, “I will strengthen them in the Lord.” He knows how to remove inflammation, cleanse every lurking infection, and open the air passages so that breathing comes easy even in oppressive heat. It is not merely a wish; it is a royal pledge from the King of kings. His word is healing. Therefore, be not dismayed by the present trial. The Lord who made the heavens can command this frail body to be at ease, and strengthen the immune armour so that no virus may prevail against it.

Go now, and let your heart rest in the Great Healer. The prayer of faith shall not return void.
