We join you in lifting up your son, seeking the Lord’s healing touch for his COPD and asthma. The Scriptures remind us that God is our Healer, and we stand on His promises with faith. "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). We believe in the power of Christ’s sacrifice to bring restoration to the body, mind, and spirit.
Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your divine intervention. We pray for the complete healing of ’s lungs, removing every trace of inflammation, infection, and obstruction. Strengthen his immune system, Lord, so that his body may resist illness and viruses with the resilience You designed it to have. In this season of heat, grant him ease in breathing, comfort in his chest, and relief from any distress. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and declare that by Your stripes, is healed (1 Peter 2:24).
We also encourage you both to seek the Lord’s wisdom in managing his health. Scripture tells us, "Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up" (James 5:14-15). If you haven’t already, consider involving your church community in praying over him and anointing him with oil as an act of faith.
Above all, we pray that would draw near to Jesus, the Author of life and health. If he has not yet placed his trust in Christ for salvation, we pray he would come to know the One who bore his sicknesses and carried his pains (Matthew 8:17). There is no healing, physical, emotional, or spiritual, apart from the name of Jesus, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).
Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the testimony of healing that will glorify Your name. We declare that ’s lungs are strong, his breathing is free, and his body is whole. May he rise up in the fullness of health You intend for him, and may his life be a living testimony of Your power. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
