Please pray in Jesus mighty name that the landlord will pay compensation for the problems (electric shocks) that occurred in the apartment due to the lack of electrical safety, as well as for the illness that developed as a result, skin problems, medical treatments, the cost of alternative shower facilities or a shower pass, threats, and other inappropriate actions.

Please pray the landlord's conscience is awakened and stirred by the Holy Spirit to do good and repent.

Update: I have been asking for prayers for almost two months, but there has been no communication, remorse or willingness to compensate me for my suffering.

Update: The landlord hasn't returned the security deposit or the repair costs I paid the technicians... Please pray that he repays everything he owes us!

Update: The community house manager hasn't returned the repair costs, though she promised to do so two months ago. I also paid to repair the house's electricity system which is not lawfully my responsibility to cover the cost as a tenant.
My skin has become inflamed and red in the areas where I received electric shocks. It may take years for the deeper layers of the skin to fully renew, which is awful. Please pray that the deeper tissues heal and that collagen is rebuilt where the skin was damaged.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to Him in the mighty name of Jesus. Father, we know that You are a God of justice and righteousness, and we ask that You move powerfully in this matter. The electric shocks, the physical suffering, the financial losses, and the unrepentant heart of the landlord, all of these weigh heavily on Your child, and we ask that You bring resolution, healing, and restitution.

Lord, we pray that the landlord’s conscience would be stirred by the Holy Spirit, that he would recognize the wrong he has done and make it right. Scripture tells us in Romans 13:7, "Give therefore to everyone what you owe: taxes to whom taxes are due; customs to whom customs; respect to whom respect; honor to whom honor." The landlord owes compensation for the harm caused, the medical expenses, the repair costs, and the suffering endured. We ask that You soften his heart and compel him to repay everything that is owed, as Proverbs 3:27 says, "Don’t withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it."

We also lift up the physical healing needed for the skin damage. Father, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You restore the deeper layers of skin, rebuild collagen, and bring complete healing. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We trust in Your promise and ask for Your miraculous touch.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of injustice and hardness of heart that has kept this matter unresolved. We declare that the landlord and the community house manager will be held accountable, not just by man’s laws, but by Your divine justice. We pray that they would come to a place of repentance and restitution, as Zacchaeus did in Luke 19:8, when he said, "Behold, Lord, half of my goods I give to the poor. If I have wrongfully exacted anything of anyone, I restore four times as much."

We also ask for Your provision in this time of financial strain. You know every need, and we trust that You will open doors for restitution and relief. Philippians 4:19 reminds us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

Finally, we pray for patience and peace for Your child as they wait on You. The delay has been long, but we know that You are never late. We declare that this situation will be resolved in accordance with Your will, and that Your name will be glorified through it all. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We’ve been holding your situation in prayer these past weeks, and we can feel the weight of what you’ve been carrying. The silence from your landlord and the community house manager, after all the pain and expense you’ve endured, would wear down anyone. It’s especially hard when insults or threats get added to the injustice, those sting on top of the physical harm you’re still healing from.

While we keep asking God to stir the landlord’s conscience, we also want to gently encourage you toward whatever practical help is available in your area. A tenant rights organization or a legal aid clinic can often advise you on recovering unpaid repair costs and security deposits, and they can help you document the timeline of events. You’ve been carrying this largely alone, and you don’t have to. Even one informed conversation can lift some of that burden.

We are also praying for your skin’s deeper healing. It’s good that you’ve received medical attention; please continue to let your doctors guide you. We ask for the rebuilding of tissue and relief from inflammation, and for patience for you as your body slowly recovers.

Father, you see the truth of what happened and the harm it caused. We ask you to soften the hearts of those who hold back what rightfully belongs to this person. Bring a genuine repentance and a desire to make things right. Protect them from further threats, and grant wisdom and courage for each next step. Heal the damaged skin and restore what the shocks took away, physically, emotionally, and financially. We trust you as the one who brings justice and renewal, in Jesus’ name.

You are not forgotten. We’ll keep praying with you. Please let us know how things progress.

The prayer has been lifted for the stirring of this landlord’s conscience, yet let us be sober in our expectations. The thunders and the judgments that fall upon a man may produce a repentance of a certain sort, a carnal repentance, wrung out of nature under terror. A man may be scrubbed like the Ethiopian, but his skin remains as black as ever; it is a repentance that is only skin deep, appearing in a night and withering in a night. To desire that he do good and repay what is owed is right, but we must remember that true repentance, the kind that gives God glory and not merely seeks to ease a troubled mind, is the work of the Holy Spirit, not the mere outcome of a terrified conscience.

Yet in this, turn your own eyes to a higher comfort. Bear in mind that the house in which we dwell, in this life, has God for its Landlord, and we are only tenants. An earthly landlord may fail in every duty, refusing to return that which is due, turning a deaf ear to the cries of the injured. But there is a Great Landlord who keeps His lease, and that lease includes His right to enter and uphold His own. Take the key of your house and offer it to Him in acknowledgment that you live on sufferance as His tenant. His goodness to you in this trial is meant to lead you, not to a bitter rusting of the spirit, but to a sweet, drawing repentance and a deeper trust.

As for your body, wounded by these shocks, look to the healing that is in Christ. The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations; the very least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. When the Sun of Righteousness arises, healing is in His wings, and pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction. You pray for the renewal of deep tissues and the rebuilding of what is damaged; let this be a picture of the deeper work. The misery of inflamed skin is a present sorrow, but it points to a cure that goes beyond the surface. The Lord has begun to heal His people, working in them health and cure till they are without spot or wrinkle. May the healing virtue which His grace infuses work this in you, and may you know that while a human landlord’s repayment may linger, the great Landlord will not withhold any good thing. Seek Him, and see if He does not prove that His healing hand and His pardoning heart are sufficient for all this grief.

The afflictions you endure from this unjust landlord are like a fire that refines gold. The love of money has indeed blinded him, as a thick cloud collected on the eyeball, so that he cannot see the wrong he does. Yet be not dismayed: the Lord saw fit to suffer loss of all things, and by His patience overcame. You too, if you bear these losses with thanksgiving, will receive a greater reward than any compensation from man. For when Job wrestled nobly, God restored twice more than he had lost; but even if the restoration tarries, the crown prepared for you is eternal.

But take heed that the poison of resentment does not enter your soul. Your skin may burn now, but what of the soul? Though you wear ten thousand diadems, a sickly body cannot be cured by any kingdom; but a healthy soul, a clear conscience, this is riches beyond all. The landlord, though he wears the sheep’s clothing of a manager or a neighbor, yet if his deeds are wolfish, the Holy Spirit will convict. Pray for him, yes, but do not let your confidence in God’s justice be cast away. You have not lost it yet; hold it fast. It is easier to keep what you have than to recover it once thrown aside.

Even so, it is not in vain. If he should repent, even at the eleventh hour, the door is open. But whether he repays or not, the deeper healing you seek, of the inflamed skin and the damaged tissues, lay that before the Physician of souls and bodies. He who led captivity captive can mend what is broken, and if the flesh heals slowly, let that be a reminder to keep your inner man in health by forgiveness and patience. For in a short time He can restore what years of sin have marred. Stand fast. Your confidence has great reward.
