Please pray in Jesus mighty name that the landlord will pay compensation for the problems (electric shocks) that occurred in the apartment due to the lack of electrical safety, as well as for the illness that developed as a result, skin problems, medical treatments, the cost of alternative shower facilities or a shower pass, threats, and other inappropriate actions.

Please pray the landlord's conscience is awakened and stirred by the Holy Spirit to do good and repent.

Update: I have been asking for prayers for almost two months, but there has been no communication, remorse or willingness to compensate me for my suffering.

Update: The landlord hasn't returned the security deposit or the repair costs I paid the technicians... Please pray that he repays everything he owes us!

Update: The community house manager hasn't returned the repair costs, though she promised to do so two months ago. I also paid to repair the house's electricity system which is not lawfully my responsibility to cover the cost as a tenant.
My skin has become inflamed and red in the areas where I received electric shocks. It may take years for the deeper layers of the skin to fully renew, which is awful. Please pray that the deeper tissues heal and that collagen is rebuilt where the skin was damaged.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation in fervent prayer. Father God, we know that You are a God of justice, righteousness, and compassion. Your Word tells us in Proverbs 22:22-23, "Don’t exploit the poor, because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for the Lord will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them." Lord, we ask that You intervene in this matter and stir the conscience of this ### and the ###. May they recognize the wrong that has been done and be moved by Your Holy Spirit to make restitution, not just in part, but in full.

We rebuke the spirit of greed, neglect, and hardness of heart that has kept them from doing what is right. Your Word declares in Romans 13:7, "Give therefore to everyone what you owe: taxes to whom taxes are due; customs to whom customs; respect to whom respect; honor to whom honor." Lord, we pray that these individuals would be convicted of their obligation to repay what is owed, including the security deposit, repair costs, and compensation for the suffering and medical expenses endured. We ask that You soften their hearts and open their eyes to the harm they have caused, that they may repent and act with integrity.

Father, we also lift up the physical healing that is needed. The electric shocks have caused deep damage to the skin, and we ask for Your divine touch to restore what has been harmed. Your Word assures us in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." Lord, we pray for the renewal of skin tissues, the rebuilding of collagen, and the complete healing of every layer of skin that has been affected. We trust in Your power to restore health and wholeness, even when the damage seems irreversible.

We also ask for Your provision in this time of financial strain. The costs of medical treatments, alternative shower facilities, and repairs have likely added up, and we pray that You would open doors for restitution and financial relief. Your Word promises in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Lord, we trust in Your faithfulness to provide for every need, whether through the repayment of what is owed or through other means of Your divine provision.

Lastly, we pray for patience and peace for this dear one who has endured so much. The waiting and the lack of resolution can be overwhelming, but we know that You are a God who sees and hears. Your Word reminds us in Isaiah 40:31, "But those who wait for the Lord will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint." Lord, we ask that You renew strength, grant perseverance, and fill this heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

We stand in agreement, believing that justice will prevail and that healing, both physically and financially, will come. We declare that the ### and the ### will be moved to act with righteousness and that full restitution will be made. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray and believe. Amen.

We are so sorry for all you’ve endured, the electric shocks, the painful skin damage, the mounting bills you never should have had to pay, and now the heavy silence from those who owe you so much. Carrying this alone for so long is exhausting, and it’s completely understandable to feel worn down.

We are praying with you that the Holy Spirit truly stirs your landlord’s conscience. Not just a passing twinge of guilt, but a deep, genuine change of heart that moves him to do what is right, to return the security deposit, to cover the repair costs, and to compensate you for all the medical treatment and the hardship you’ve faced. We ask God to give you the money that is rightfully yours and to protect you from any further threats or mistreatment.

While we wait on God, we want to gently encourage something practical: if you haven’t already, consider connecting with a local church or a Christian legal aid clinic, or even a tenants’ rights organization. Sometimes having someone walk alongside you, helping you write letters, navigate housing laws, or simply stand with you, can open doors and lift a huge weight off your shoulders. And please keep following your doctor’s guidance for your skin; the healing may take time, but we are asking God to deeply restore every layer of tissue that was damaged, to calm the inflammation, and to rebuild what the shocks tore down. You are not forgotten.

Let’s pray:

Lord Jesus, you see every hidden injustice and every silent pain. Please bring swift healing to this person’s skin, let the deep layers be restored and new collagen form where it’s needed so badly. Soften the landlord’s heart with true repentance, and move him to repay everything that is owed without further delay. Open a safe, practical way forward and surround them with people who will fight for what is right. Give them peace in the waiting and a tangible sense of your nearness. We ask all of this in your mighty name, Amen.

The great Landlord of our souls permits trials in His tenements, yet He hears the cry of the oppressed. Your body, a house of clay, has suffered shocks and your skin bears the marks of injury. But remember, the Lord who made our house best knows how to repair the tenement, and He permits us to resort to Him. Cast this burden upon Him who cares for you, and while you rightly seek earthly justice, let your heart first be set in order before Him. True repentance is not the mere stirring of a man’s conscience under terror; that is but skin-deep, a scrubbing of the Ethiopian that leaves him black. Pray for the landlord, yes, but pray that the Holy Spirit would work in him a repentance unto life, a turning from greed and cruelty because of the goodness of God and not merely the fear of loss. The repentance that gives God glory is the one that bears fruit in restitution and changed conduct, practical, lasting, and humble.

Do not let the delay breed bitterness in your own soul, for the vain regrets of the flesh twist justice into a demand for compensation that eclipses the weightier matters of the heart. Your skin may indeed take time to heal, but the deeper tissues of the spirit must be renewed by the Spirit’s grace. When you wash those wounds, remember that the tears of repentance for your own fallen nature mingle with the hope of Christ’s healing work. He bore stripes that we might be made whole. Meanwhile, the goodness that has kept you alive through these shocks, that has given you voice to pray, should lead you to repentance and to a patient trust. The Lord does not drive us with whips; He draws with cords of love. Your body is a tenement of a day, but you are heir of the universe forever. So let your present settlement of accounts begin with a fresh surrender of all claims into the hands of the Righteous Judge, who will in due time either turn the heart of the landlord or repay him for his hard dealings.

And yet, I charge you: pray on. For where there is no repentance, there can be no remission, and either in this life or the next, a man must face what he owes. Ask the Lord to open the closed hand and the shuttered conscience, but do not let your own heart be shut up in the counting-house of injury. Repentance that ejects sin as an evil tenant makes room for Christ to be the sole master. May your suffering become the means, in God’s mysterious providence, to bring that soul to a saving knowledge of Jesus, even as a cock’s crow broke Peter’s heart. Until that day, cling to the Great Physician, for He restores the years the locusts have eaten and will in His time either heal those deeper layers of flesh or give you grace to bear the affliction until the morning of the resurrection.

I have been holding your request before the Lord, and the long silence from those who owe you what is right can feel deeply discouraging. The ### that became ### where the ### passed through it, the ### that may take years to fully mend, these are not small things. Our bodies carry the memory of what has been done to us, and the cost you have borne in ### and ### was never yours to bear alone.

Scripture shows us from the very beginning that covering shame and making things right requires more than words. When Adam and Eve tried to cover themselves with leaves, it was inadequate; God Himself made them tunics of skin, and that act meant sacrifice. Something had to die so that their nakedness could be clothed. I am praying that the Holy Spirit presses this truth onto your ###’s conscience, that true restitution is costly, and dodging payment only leaves guilt unaddressed. You are not asking for charity; you are asking for what is just, and God sees the difference.

The same early chapters of Genesis reveal a strange mercy: God would not let fallen humanity live forever in a broken, corrupted state. He drove man out of the garden so that he would not eat and live on endlessly in misery. That does not minimize your suffering now, but it points to a hope beyond this moment. The damage to your ###, the ### and ### that need to be rebuilt, these are not outside the reach of the One who fashioned our bodies from dust. The leaves of the tree in the heavenly city are for the healing of the nations, and there are restoration processes we barely understand. I am asking Him to bring ### healing, to restore what ### has destroyed, and to shorten the time required for renewal. He can rebuild ### and calm the lingering ###.

I am also asking God to stir the ###’s heart before it hardens completely. There is a window when the Spirit contends with a person, giving opportunity to make things right, but Scripture warns that window does not stay open forever. The fact that the ### has not been returned, that the ### has broken her promise about ###, and that you paid for ### that was not even your responsibility as a ###, all of this is recorded in heaven. Noah found grace in a generation marked by corruption, and I am praying that someone’s conscience awakens before the weight of unrepented wrong settles into something harder than stone.

Do not grow weary. Keep your receipts and your records, but carry the matter before the Judge of all the earth, who does not change and whose timing is not like ours. The compensation and the apology that seem delayed can still come suddenly, and I am joining you in asking for exactly that in Jesus’ mighty name. May He heal your ### completely, restore every penny owed, and let righteousness prevail.
