Please pray in Jesus mighty name that the landlord will pay compensation for the problems (electric shocks) that occurred in the apartment due to the lack of electrical safety, as well as for the illness that developed as a result, skin problems, medical treatments, the cost of alternative shower facilities or a shower pass, threats, and other inappropriate actions.

Please pray the landlord's conscience is awakened and stirred by the Holy Spirit to do good and repent.

Update: I have been asking for prayers for almost two months, but there has been no communication, remorse or willingness to compensate me for my suffering.

Update: The landlord hasn't returned the security deposit or the repair costs I paid the technicians... Please pray that he repays everything he owes us!

Update: The community house manager hasn't returned the repair costs, though she promised to do so two months ago. I also paid to repair the house's electricity system which is not lawfully my responsibility to cover the cost as a tenant.
My skin has become inflamed and red in the areas where I received electric shocks. It may take years for the deeper layers of the skin to fully renew, which is awful. Please pray that the deeper tissues heal and that collagen is rebuilt where the skin was damaged.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation of injustice, suffering, and unrepentant hearts. Father God, You are the righteous Judge who sees all and knows the depths of this pain. We stand in the gap for our brother or sister who has endured electric shocks, skin damage, financial loss, and the callous disregard of those responsible. Lord, we declare that You are the God of justice, and we ask that You move mightily in this situation.

First, we pray for complete healing of the skin and deeper tissues. Your Word says in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We ask for Your healing touch to restore what has been damaged, rebuild collagen, and renew the skin fully. May there be no lasting harm, and may the body be made whole in Jesus’ name.

We also pray for financial restitution. The landlord and community house manager have withheld what is rightfully owed, security deposits, repair costs, and compensation for suffering. Proverbs 22:22-23 warns, "Don’t exploit the poor because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for the Lord will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them." Lord, stir their consciences by Your Holy Spirit. Break the hardness of their hearts and lead them to repentance. Let them see the wrong they have done and move them to make full restitution without further delay.

We rebuke the spirit of greed, negligence, and indifference that has allowed this injustice to persist. In the name of Jesus, we declare that every excuse, every delay, and every refusal to do what is right is broken. Proverbs 3:27-28 commands, "Don’t withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it. Don’t say to your neighbor, 'Go, and come again; tomorrow I will give it to you,' when you have it by you." Lord, compel them to act with integrity and urgency.

We also pray for patience and trust in God’s timing for our brother or sister. It is difficult to wait when justice seems delayed, but Habakkuk 2:3 reminds us, "For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and won’t prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it; because it will surely come. It won’t delay." Strengthen their faith to believe that You are working even when they cannot see it.

Finally, we pray for protection over their heart, against bitterness, anger, and despair. Hebrews 12:15 warns, "Looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it." Fill them with Your peace, Lord, and remind them that vengeance belongs to You (Romans 12:19). May they rest in Your justice and Your provision.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who sees, knows, and acts on behalf of the afflicted. Amen.

We’ve been sitting with your update, and our hearts ache for how long this has dragged on. Waiting for any flicker of remorse or fairness from your landlord, the manager, and the weeks without even basic communication, that wears on a person deeply. On top of everything, the inflamed skin and the long healing timeline you’re looking at feel like a constant, painful reminder of what you’ve endured. We don’t minimize that burden for a moment.

When so many wrongs pile up and the people responsible stay silent, it’s easy to feel invisible. Please know you are not invisible to us or to God. We will keep asking Him to stir the landlord’s conscience and bring about what’s right, whether that’s a full repayment of what’s owed or, at the very least, a genuine turning of heart. For the skin damage, while we pray for deep tissue renewal and restored health, we’d also gently encourage you to have a dermatologist keep an eye on things, simply so you have wise, concrete support alongside the prayer.

In the meantime, if you haven’t already, you might consider quietly documenting every expense, every interaction (or lack of one), and every physical symptom. That record could be a quiet act of self-respect and might help if you eventually pursue mediation or legal advice through a local tenant resource. But even if that step feels too heavy right now, just resting in the prayers of others is enough.

Lord Jesus, we bring this long, weary struggle to You. Touch the landlord and the manager with a conviction that can’t be ignored, and move them toward real restoration. We ask for steady healing in the deeper layers of this person’s skin, for new collagen and comfort, and for relief from the constant reminders. Hold them steady when discouragement hits, and surround them with people who will walk this road with them. In Your faithful name, amen.

The Great Landlord of all holds the title deed to every habitation, and His eye marks every injustice done by those who hold earthly leases. When a tenant suffers harm through neglect, the eternal Lease requires a reckoning. Your body bears the marks of a dwelling place that has not rendered up its duty of safety. Yet consider: the house we occupy in this life is not our own, and the Lord who owns it sees when His property is mishandled. He takes note of electric shocks that wound, of skin inflamed and broken, and of a conscience in another that slumbers while debts go unpaid. The rent due to the Most High is righteousness and mercy, and woe to the landlord who withholds both.

The healing leaves of Christ’s tree are not reserved for celestial realms alone. They drop their virtue even now upon the wounds of His people. That inflamed and reddened skin, those deep tissues slow to renew, are known to the One who binds up the broken-hearted and restores the frame. The Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, and no malady lies beyond the reach of His restoring hand. Medical treatments and balms have their place, but the deeper cure flows from the great Physician who touches both the body and the hidden man of the heart. He who rebuilt Peter’s mother-in-law from her fever can rebuild collagen and renew what the electric current has marred. Wait upon Him and look for His healing power to attend the appointed means.

Yet the matter of the unpaid sums and the unreturned deposit weighs upon you, and rightly so. The conscience of the landlord and the community house manager lies still as stone because left to itself it is stone. None but the Holy Spirit can stir that dormant conscience and bring the offender to true repentance and restitution. Pray not only for your own compensation but that their souls would be awakened before the final Audit, when the Great Landlord shall require every penny of unpaid rent and every wrong left unrighted. A just tenant seeks to leave no injury behind; an unjust one stores up wrath. The Lord can make the most hardened mind recall debts long ignored and prompt a repayment that arrives without further pleading. Keep your case before His throne. Two months are as two breaths to the Eternal, but the appointed time of refreshing will come.

You cannot serve Christ in your own strength, and burdened as you are with suffering and the weight of unfair treatment, your first need is healing. Healing must precede service. Do not attempt to wrestle this matter into resolution by sheer anxiety. The woman freed from her fever rose and ministered at once, but only after the hand of Jesus lifted her up. That same hand is extended to you, wounded, weary, and longing for justice. There is healing in the touch. Forgiveness and healing are twin mercies that flow from the same pierced side. As you look to Him, the immediate inflammation of soul, the fretting, the inner chafing, may subside even while the skin’s renewal unfolds by degrees.

The very fact that you have cried out for two months without visible answer does not signal divine indifference. Sometimes the quiet absence of human communication or remorse is the dark soil in which faith grows deepest roots. The leaving of a deposit unrepaid, the broken promise of a manager, the shirked duty of a landlord, these are the very injuries for which Christ died for His enemies. He knows the sting of wrongs absorbed and debts unpaid. Commend your cause to Him who judges righteously. There is no need to say, “I am sick,” when the Lord has already risen with healing at the ready. Pardon and renewal walk hand in hand. Press on in prayer, not as one who must stir a reluctant God, but as a tenant who knows the true Landlord shall make all things right in His own house and His own time.

The affliction of your body is plain to see, yet the greater wound lies hidden. You have been wronged, and the flesh testifies to it. But consider well: the one who has done this to you suffers a far more terrible injury, though he knows it not. For not he who endures injustice is harmed, but he who commits it. The landlord, by withholding what is just, by neglecting your safety, has pierced his own soul with a sword. His conscience, though now asleep, is wounded unto death unless he repent. You, on the other hand, if you bear this patiently, commit no sin but gain a surpassing good. For what is a damaged skin compared to a radiant soul? The flesh renews, or it perishes, what is that to you? But the soul that endures nobly and refuses to return evil for evil becomes like God, who makes His sun rise on the evil and the good.

You have prayed for two months, and still no answer. Do not lose heart. This delay is not cruelty but a training ground for your faith. God often permits wrongs to continue that we might learn to distrust our own strength and lay hold of His mercy. The long-suffering soul is like a deep sea: a spark of injustice falls into it and is quenched at once. Do not let the flame of anger catch. Do not curse the landlord or rehearse his offenses to others. Instead, weep for him, for he is a fit subject of tears. Pray that his conscience be awakened, yes, but more than this, pray for his repentance as for a brother gravely ill. In doing so, you will heap coals of divine love on his head, and you will secure for yourself a reward far exceeding any sum of money.

The skin stings and the deeper tissues ache. I do not dismiss the body’s cry, for we are not angels but flesh and blood. Yet remember what the Apostle says: “The sufferings of Christ abound in us.” When you suffer unjustly, you partake of the Master’s cup. Give thanks in the midst of the pain, not because the pain is good, but because it is forming in you a weight of glory beyond all comparison. Ask the Lord to heal your skin, but ask with greater eagerness that He heal your heart of every resentment. For if you are made whole in body yet retain bitterness, you remain sick indeed. But if you forgive utterly and pray for the one who owes you, you will stand before God with a countenance brighter than any earthly health could give.

The money withheld, the deposit unreturned, the repair costs unpaid, these are trifles in the scales of eternity. The landlord, by clutching them, may think he has gained, but he has only heaped up fire against himself. You, meanwhile, have the opportunity to be crowned as one who loves mercy. Let the courts of men be what they are, but you must enter the court of your own conscience first and accuse yourself, not of the landlord’s sins, but of any impatience or ill-will that may have crept in. Then extend to him the same mercy you desire from God. For if you wish your own sins to be blotted out, wash away his with your forgiveness.

Continue to pray, but let your prayer be thus: “Lord, I do not ask that you punish this man, but that you give him a heart to know his wrong and turn from it. And whatever temporal loss I suffer, grant me the long-suffering that stores up treasure in heaven.” Pray for his household, for his soul’s awakening, and for the peace of your own spirit. And as you do, behold how the insult becomes a blessing, the shock a gentle call to holiness. The injury is become a medicine, if you will but take it.

So then, lift up your hands with a clean heart, and say: “He owes me money and recompense, but I owe him love. He has not paid what the law demands, but I will pay what Christ commands.” Let the skin deal with time, but let your soul deal with eternity. And may the God of all consolation so work in your endurance that you shine like a star in a crooked generation, to the praise of His glorious grace.

Your suffering has endured far too long, and the silence from the landlord cuts deeply. The electric shocks, the lingering skin inflammation, the costs you should never have had to bear, these are not just inconveniences; they are wounds that deserve to be made right. I am praying with you, in the mighty name of Jesus, for every bit of compensation you are owed and for the healing your body still needs.

When Adam and Eve sinned, they tried to cover their shame with fig leaves, but God gave them tunics of skin. That covering came at a cost: an animal’s life was taken, blood was shed, to clothe their guilt. From the very beginning, God showed that sin demands a sacrifice and that repentance and restoration require more than words. I am asking the Holy Spirit to bring that deep, painful conviction upon your landlord’s conscience. May he not merely fear legal consequences but feel the weight of his wrongdoing, the threats, the failure to return the security deposit and repair costs, the negligence that caused your body harm. Stir in him a genuine remorse that leads to restitution. The money he owes is not just a debt; it is a moral obligation he will answer for before God.

Your skin, the very covering God knit together, has been injured. The body’s renewal often takes time, and I hear your grief over the months ahead. Just as we see how harmful rays can damage what was meant to protect, you have endured a violation that goes beneath the surface. I am praying for the deeper tissues, for the rebuilding of collagen, and for the inflammation to quiet. The same Creator who designed skin with its remarkable ability to regenerate is able to heal you, layer by layer. We do not yet know all the wonders He has placed within our bodies or the ways He intends to restore what is broken. I hold on to the promise that one day the leaves of the tree will be for the healing of the nations, and every wrong will be made right.

In the waiting, do not let the landlord’s hard heart convince you that God is indifferent. He sees every penny withheld and every day of discomfort. Keep bringing this to Him, and know that others stand with you in prayer, asking for justice, healing, and ultimately for a conscience awakened to do good.
