Kensem

Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus mighty name that the landlord will pay compensation for the problems (electric shocks) that occurred in the apartment due to the lack of electrical safety, as well as for the illness that developed as a result, skin problems, medical treatments, the cost of alternative shower facilities or a shower pass, threats, and other inappropriate actions.

Please pray the landlord's conscience is awakened and stirred by the Holy Spirit to do good and repent.

Update: I have been asking for prayers for almost two months, but there has been no communication, remorse or willingness to compensate me for my suffering.

Update: The landlord hasn't returned the
security deposit or the repair costs I paid the technicians... Please pray that he repays everything he owes us!

Update: The community house manager hasn't returned the repair costs, though she promised to do so two months ago. I also paid to repair the house's electricity system which is not lawfully my responsibility to cover the cost as a tenant.

My skin has become inflamed and red in the areas where I received electric shocks. It may take years for the deeper layers of the skin to fully renew, which is awful. Please pray that the deeper tissues heal and that collagen is rebuilt where the skin was damaged.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation in fervent prayer, trusting in the power of Jesus’ name to bring justice, healing, and restoration. Father God, You are the righteous Judge who sees all and knows the depths of this suffering. We ask that You move mightily on behalf of Your child, who has endured electric shocks, physical harm, financial loss, and the callous indifference of those responsible.

Lord, we pray that the landlord’s conscience would be pierced by Your Holy Spirit, as Scripture declares, "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it? I, the Lord, search the heart, I test the mind, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings" (Jeremiah 17:9-10 WEB). Awaken in him a godly sorrow that leads to repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10), compelling him to make right what has been wronged. May he return every penny owed, the security deposit, repair costs, and compensation for medical expenses and suffering. Let no excuse or delay stand in the way of Your justice.

We also lift up the community house manager, Lord. You command us, "Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it" (Proverbs 3:27 WEB). Break any hardness of heart in her, that she would fulfill her promise and act with integrity. Let Your Word be a lamp to her feet, guiding her to do what is right (Psalm 119:105).

Father, we cry out for healing, both physical and emotional. The skin, inflamed and damaged, bears the scars of this injustice. We ask for Your healing touch, that the deeper tissues would mend and collagen would be restored, as You "heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3 WEB). Sustain this dear one in body, mind, and spirit, reminding them that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of greed, negligence, and oppression at work in this situation. You detest those who exploit the vulnerable, and Your Word warns, "Woe to him who builds his house by unrighteousness, and his chambers by injustice" (Jeremiah 22:13 WEB). Let Your righteous anger burn against such injustice, and let Your mercy triumph over judgment (James 2:13).

We declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that every debt owed will be repaid. Strengthen their faith to wait on You, for You are a God who "executes justice for the oppressed" (Psalm 103:6 WEB). May they find peace in Your presence, knowing that You are their Defender and Provider.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We’ve been holding this request alongside you these past weeks, and we’re grieved that the landlord remains unresponsive and that your body is still hurting where the shocks occurred. Waiting for justice, and for skin that feels inflamed to heal, can be deeply wearing.

While we continue to pray with you, we also want to encourage a concrete step: even as you ask God to stir the landlord’s conscience, please consider reaching out for practical help that can change your immediate situation. In many communities, tenant rights organizations, legal aid clinics, or church benevolence teams can assist with recovering unpaid deposits, repair costs, and pursuing compensation for the harm you’ve suffered. If you haven’t already, gather every piece of documentation, photos of the injuries, receipts for the repairs you paid, any written communication, and take them to someone qualified to advocate for you. Sometimes God uses those tangible supports to break a logjam like the one you’re facing, much like a church in Philadelphia once moved a mother out of a dangerous apartment and into a safe place while also connecting her to ongoing assistance. Your skin’s inflammation is also a real medical concern, and a doctor can assess the deeper tissue damage and guide treatment; we’d gently encourage you to make that appointment, alongside prayer, not instead of it.

Lord Jesus, you care about every injustice and every aching part of our bodies. We lift our friend to you, bring healing to the deep layers of skin that were damaged, rebuilding collagen and restoring comfort. Awaken the landlord’s conscience, not by our friend’s force, but by your Spirit’s conviction, and move him to make right what he owes. Until that happens, please open doors to practical help and steady provision, so that this burden does not weigh alone. Protect our friend from discouragement, and make your nearness felt in the waiting. In your name we ask, Amen.

How long the trial lingers, yet the Great Landlord of all the earth has not forgotten His afflicted tenant. The house in which you dwell belongs to Him, and He marks every injustice as though done to Himself. When earthly authorities fail and human hearts grow hard, there is an appeal that reaches the throne of the Most High, where justice and mercy meet in Jesus Christ. Set your own house in order before Him, and let conscience be clear; then with holy boldness commit the oppressor into His hands. He can awaken a slumbering conscience with the breath of the Holy Spirit, breaking through hardness as the hammer breaks the rock.

Yet while you wait for the settlement of these outward wrongs, seek first the healing that never fails. The leaves of the Tree of Life are for the wounded, and the least word of Christ carries medicinal virtue for body and soul alike. That inflamed skin, those damaged tissues, are known to Him who heals every disease and carries our sorrows. His blood speaks better things than that of Abel, crying not for vengeance but for pardon and restoration. When pardon is given to the chief of sinners, there comes also a tender spirit, a quiet heart, a patient endurance. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing gives the healing power that flows from Calvary’s cross.

Cease not to pray, but let your prayers be mingled with submission to the One who times all things perfectly. The security deposit, the repair costs, the stubborn silence of unrighteous men, these are but trifles in the scale compared to the weight of glory soon to be revealed. Leave them with the Judge of all, and let your spirit be washed in the peace that comes from knowing your own lease is held by nail-pierced hands. Should the years be long for the body’s healing, yet the inward man is renewed day by day, and the face lifted toward heaven shall one day shine with a freshness no earthly shock can mar. Trust Him with the foul disease of your cares, and feel the touch of His healing finger even now.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have suffered real harm, and your body bears the marks of it. The inflammation and deep tissue damage are not nothing, and I grieve with you. Yet I must ask you: in these two months of waiting, has your soul become inflamed as well? For as the body can burn with fever, so the heart can burn with a slow, simmering wrath that does more damage than any electric shock. That landlord's conscience is asleep, and you rightly pray the Holy Spirit would stir him to repentance, but have you examined your own conscience? The desire for compensation is just, but the remembrance of injuries, clung to tightly, becomes frost and ice on the soul. The ways of revengeful men lead to death. Do not let his wrong become your own sin.

God allows such trials that we might learn to pity those who injure us, rather than rage against them. That landlord is truly pitiable, for he stores up wrath for himself, and his greed has made his soul dropsical, swollen with the love of money, lying in a sickbed of his own making and refusing the Physician. He thinks he gains by holding back your deposit, but he is piling up loss upon loss. Weep for him, as Joseph wept for his brothers, and pray not merely for your own relief but for his salvation.

Your prayer is heard when it comes from a heart free from the poison of unforgiveness. Love works no ill to a neighbor; love does not keep a ledger of wrongs. Can you, even now, while your skin still burns, desire his good? That is the narrow pathway of virtue, which requires no great labor but only the beginning of love. And do not think your small slights are a light matter, to remember injuries, whether great or small, is the same sin, a puffing up of the soul like a child's inflated cheeks.

Nevertheless, bring your request boldly to God, for He is the Shepherd who makes His sheep to lie down in safe pasture. Ask not merely for money, but for healing of the deeper layers, that collagen may be rebuilt, and for the inflammation to subside. Ask in Jesus' mighty name, with your whole heart cleansed of bitterness, and trust that the Sun of Righteousness will melt whatever frost remains. Justice belongs to the Lord; He will repay. But your truest security is not in a landlord’s payment, but in the One who has conquered death and will one day raise your body wholly new, beyond all scars and shocks.

The burning and redness you’re describing in your skin, and the deeper tissue damage that could linger, must feel overwhelming. Your body, meant to be a covering that protects, has been wounded in a way that reminds us how fragile our physical frame really is. Long ago, when sin first entered the world, God Himself provided a covering for our first parents, garments of skin, made through the shedding of blood. That first act of clothing pointed to a deeper truth: our ultimate healing and covering come only through sacrifice and God’s tender care. The same Lord who fashioned those coats sees every layer of your damaged skin, and He is not indifferent. He can reach down and restore what has been harmed, rebuilding collagen and renewing tissue in ways that go beyond medical explanation. I will pray for that kind of quiet, hidden healing to begin, even in the deeper places you cannot see.

I will also pray for the landlord and the community house manager. Their silence and refusal to take responsibility for the electrical danger, your illness, the repair costs, and the withheld deposit are grievous. When a conscience grows dull, it takes the stirring of the Holy Spirit to bring about real conviction and repentance. May their hearts be troubled until they make every wrong right. Scripture tells us that when a person truly turns from sin, they make restitution, even repaying what they owe multiple times over. I will ask the Lord to awaken that kind of godly sorrow in them, so your suffering is not overlooked.

In the meantime, do not lose heart. The God who designed the human body, with its intricate layers and ability to renew, also planted a tree whose leaves were meant for healing. One day all sickness, pain, and injustice will be made new. Until then, we bring your aching skin, your financial burden, and your need for righteous resolution straight to the feet of Jesus. He cares for you.

We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with your prayer request, allowing us to stand in agreement with you before the Lord. We have lifted up your situation—your need for justice, healing, and restitution—continually before our Heavenly Father, asking Him to move mightily on your behalf.

We pray that the landlord’s heart would be softened by the Holy Spirit, that his conscience would be stirred, and that he would be led to repentance and restitution for all that he owes you—the compensation for your suffering, the return of your security deposit, and the repayment of the repair costs you have borne. We ask the Lord to break any hardness of heart and replace it with godly sorrow, that he may do what is right in the sight of the Lord.

We also continue to pray for your healing—both physically and emotionally. May the Lord restore your skin, renewing the deeper layers and rebuilding what has been damaged. We ask for His comfort to surround you, for His peace to guard your heart, and for His provision to cover every need as you wait on Him.

If the Lord has already answered any part of these prayers, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report so that we may rejoice with you. If the answers have not yet come, we encourage you to post this request again so that we may continue to intercede on your behalf. We stand with you in faith, trusting that God sees your situation and will act in His perfect timing.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you continue to seek Him, and may His grace sustain you through this trial. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
