Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus mighty name that the landlord will pay compensation for the problems (electric shocks) that occurred in the apartment due to the lack of electrical safety, as well as for the illness that developed as a result, skin problems, medical treatments, the cost of alternative shower facilities or a shower pass, threats, and other inappropriate actions.

Please pray the landlord's conscience is awakened and stirred by the Holy Spirit to do good and repent.

Update: I have been asking for prayers for almost two months, but there has been no communication, remorse or willingness to compensate me for my suffering.

We stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting this heavy burden before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The dangers you have faced, electric shocks, illness, and the callous disregard of your landlord, are not just physical hardships but injustices that cry out for divine intervention. The Lord hears the cries of the afflicted, and He is a God of justice who commands fairness and compassion among His people.

The scriptures declare in Proverbs 22:22-23, "Don’t exploit the poor, because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for the Lord will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them." Your landlord has a moral and legal obligation to ensure your safety, and his failure to do so is a violation of both man’s law and God’s. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict his heart deeply, awakening his conscience to the wrong he has done. May the Lord soften his heart, as Ezekiel 36:26 promises: "I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."

We also lift up your health before the Great Physician, Jesus Christ, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Isaiah 53:4-5). The skin problems and illnesses you’ve endured are not trivial, and we ask for His healing touch to restore you fully. May He provide wisdom for your medical care and cover every expense incurred from this ordeal. We declare that the Lord is your Provider (Philippians 4:19) and that He will make a way where there seems to be no way.

The threats and inappropriate actions you’ve faced are unacceptable, and we rebuke every spirit of intimidation and fear in Jesus’ name. 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." You are not alone in this battle, and we stand with you, trusting that the Lord will fight for you (Exodus 14:14). We pray for divine favor as you seek justice, that every door that has been shut would be opened by the hand of God, and that those in authority would act with integrity and urgency on your behalf.

Father God, we come before You with hearts heavy for our brother/sister in Christ. We ask that You would move mightily in this situation, compelling the landlord to take responsibility and make restitution for the harm caused. Let Your justice roll like a river (Amos 5:24), and may this landlord experience the conviction of the Holy Spirit in such a way that he cannot ignore it. We pray for supernatural intervention, may he be unable to sleep, unable to find peace, until he makes this right. We also ask for Your protection over our brother/sister, shielding them from further harm, stress, or financial strain.

Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that every plan of the enemy to delay or deny justice will be thwarted. We speak restoration over their health, finances, and peace of mind. May they experience Your presence in tangible ways, reminding them that You are their Defender and their Strength. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).

In the name of Jesus Christ, the Righteous Judge, we command every spirit of greed, apathy, and injustice to flee. We release Your peace, Your provision, and Your power into this situation. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified through the resolution of this matter. Amen.

We hear the deep frustration in your update, waiting for two months without a word, while you’re still dealing with the physical toll and the costs of what happened, is genuinely exhausting. Suffering like this can wear down our hope, especially when the person responsible seems unmoved. We’ve been sitting with your request, and we want you to know you’re not alone in this. Even when a human conscience sleeps, God sees every detail. He cares about the shocks you endured, the illness and skin problems that followed, and the stress of carrying those expenses. We’re praying with you for a breakthrough, not just in circumstances but in your spirit as the days drag on.

In the meantime, you mentioned medical treatments and the need for alternative shower facilities; we’re glad you’ve been able to seek that care. Please keep tending to your body, and if you haven’t already, don’t hesitate to lean on a doctor you trust, they can help you navigate the ongoing effects. As for the compensation, while we ask God to stir your landlord’s conscience, it might also be wise to explore practical avenues. Many communities have tenant advocacy groups or free legal aid clinics that help people in situations like yours. A conversation with someone familiar with landlord-tenant laws in your area could help you understand your options and feel less stuck. Taking a concrete step doesn’t replace prayer; it can be part of how God provides.

We are praying with you now: Lord Jesus, you know the pain this person has endured and the frustration of unanswered hopes. We ask you to move in the landlord’s heart, to awaken remorse and a willingness to make things right. At the same time, give this child of yours wisdom about what practical steps to take, and open doors for just resolution. Sustain their body and mind, and wrap them in your peace that passes understanding. We ask this in your mighty name, Amen.

It is a heavy trial when those who hold temporal power over our earthly dwellings act with a callous disregard for safety and simple righteousness. The electric shocks and the sickness that followed are not light things, and the refusal of this landlord to communicate or show remorse adds the sting of injustice to your bodily suffering. Yet, fix this truth in your mind: the house in which you dwell has God for its great Landlord, and both you and the man from whom you rent are only tenants under Him, stewards who must give an account. The present silence of the man’s conscience is no proof that God is unmoved. He holds the lease on every soul, and in that lease is the clause that the great Landlord has at all times the right to enter His own property.

I do pray with you that the Holy Spirit will stir the conscience of this landlord, awakening him to his duty. It is a right and proper thing for justice to be done, for when justice is satisfied, it cannot rightly ask for more. The compensation for your medical treatments and the cost of alternative provisions is not a matter of indulgence but of that which is just. Do not, however, let the bitterness of this unanswered plea become the only food for your soul. If a man’s taste runs after nothing but the trifles of earthly recompense, he may miss the feast of divine comfort. Set your own house in order. While you rightly seek the payment of this debt, pay your own rent to the great Landlord by trusting in Him whose justice for your sin was fully satisfied at the cross. Lay the arrears of your weariness and your complaint before Him who is the judge of all. He sees the threats, the neglect, and the suffering, and though the earthly tenant-in-chief may refuse to act, the great Landlord will settle every account with perfect righteousness in His own due season. Offer the key of your heart anew to Him, acknowledge that you live on sufferance as His tenant, and in that surrender you will find the peace that no unrighteous landlord can take away.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have asked prayer that your landlord’s conscience be stirred and that he pay you compensation for the shocks, the illness, the skin treatments, and the threats you suffered. But consider carefully what injury truly is. The harm falls not on you who endured these things, but on the one who did them, unless he repents. For the grasping man, the false accuser, the one who wrongs his neighbor, these do the greatest injury to themselves, and to you they do the greatest good, if you bear it with thanksgiving. When you pray for compensation, you seek a payment for your body; but when you forgive and pray for the soul of the one who wronged you, you gain rewards that no money can match.

These two months of silence from him are no sign that God has not heard you. Perhaps God is teaching you to release your claim. The landlord’s conscience is his own accuser, and his lack of remorse shows he already suffers the inward torment of one who flees the light. Do not envy him his earthly goods or desire a settlement, for envy thrusts the sword into yourself, not him. Instead, follow the command of Christ: pray for him who despitefully used you, and return good for evil. Speak blessings, not demands. If you do this, you become like your Father in heaven, who sends rain on the just and the unjust.

Your suffering is real, but your glory is the testimony of a pure conscience that does not return evil. The landlord may refuse to pay, but you possess a far greater treasure: the opportunity to be crowned as one who loved his enemies. Let go of the shower pass, the medical costs, and the threats. Entrust yourself to the righteous Judge. Cease to pray for compensation, and begin to weep for his sick soul, for the day may come when he seeks repentance with tears that are too late because they spring from worldly sorrow, not true change. Do not be like him, demanding your due; rather, give thanks for the injury, and you will find that your true healing has already begun.

The weight you are carrying is real, and the silence you have endured only deepens the trial. When suffering stretches on without any sign of change, it can feel as though the cries of your heart are falling on deaf ears. Yet it is often in these very seasons of prolonged hardship that God does a profound work beneath the surface. Suffering has a way of driving our roots deep that nothing else can. I have seen time and again that the people from whom I draw the most, those with a richness of character that stands out, are those who have walked through long and difficult paths. What feels like a crushing weight today is being used to develop a depth within you that cannot be formed any other way. The Apostle Paul spoke of bearing in his body the dying of the Lord Jesus so that the life of Jesus might be made manifest. That mystery is at work in your life right now.

Your prayer for the landlord’s conscience to be awakened and stirred by the Holy Spirit is exactly the right one. A conscience truly touched by God does not just feel a fleeting regret; it leads to a change, a turning around. The sorrow that is according to God produces repentance that has no regrets. Yet do not be surprised if that process takes time. God’s patience is immense beyond our understanding, and His forbearance is meant to lead people to repentance. It is a grave mistake, however, to interpret His long-suffering as weakness or, worse still, as approval. The delay in justice is not God turning a blind eye. He is giving space, but no one can ultimately violate their conscience without paying the consequences. The landlord’s lack of communication and remorse right now is not the final word.

While you wait, the most powerful position you can hold is that of a clear conscience before God and toward others. I am struck by Paul’s determination to always have a conscience void of offense toward God and toward men. That is a high and holy calling, especially when you have been wronged. You are suffering for doing right, not for doing wrong, and there is a blessing hidden in that. When people speak evil of you or act unjustly, keeping a good conscience means entrusting your whole situation to God. Your well-being does not ultimately hang on the landlord writing a check. It hangs on the One who sees all and who will judge righteously in His time.

Let the suffering you are enduring turn your own heart toward an even deeper yielding to God. Paul longed to know Christ in the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable to His death. He did not seek suffering, but when it came, he learned obedience through it. There is a learning of submission to God that happens nowhere else quite like it. When you accept this trial and commit your life into His faithful hands, you are not being passive; you are actively trusting the just Judge. The afflictions of this present time, no matter how heavy, are not worthy to be compared with the eternal weight of glory that is being worked in you. Your prolonged endurance is not a mark of His forgetfulness. It is a mark of His craftsmanship. Keep your eyes fixed there, and may the peace of Christ rule in your heart while He works in this situation.
