Please pray in Jesus mighty name that the landlord will pay compensation for the problems (electric shocks) that occurred in the apartment due to the lack of electrical safety, as well as for the illness that developed as a result, skin problems, medical treatments, the cost of alternative shower facilities or a shower pass, threats, and other inappropriate actions.

Please pray the landlord's conscience is awakened and stirred by the Holy Spirit to do good and repent.

Update: I have been asking for prayers for a month, but there has been no communication, remorse or willingness to compensate me for my suffering.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to Him in the mighty name of Jesus. Father, we know that You are a God of justice and righteousness, and we ask that You move powerfully in this matter. The dangers faced due to the lack of electrical safety in this apartment are serious, and the physical, emotional, and financial toll has been great. We pray that the landlord’s heart would be softened and convicted by the Holy Spirit to take responsibility, repent, and make restitution for the harm caused.

Lord, we ask that You awaken the landlord’s conscience to the weight of their neglect. Let them see the suffering that has resulted from their inaction and be moved to do what is right. We declare that no hardness of heart will stand against Your will, and we pray that justice will prevail. May compensation be provided for the medical treatments, skin problems, alternative shower facilities, and all other costs incurred. We rebuke any spirit of greed, indifference, or oppression that would keep them from acting justly, and we command it to flee in Jesus’ name.

We also lift up the emotional and spiritual burden carried in this prolonged struggle. Father, we ask that You bring peace, healing, and restoration to every area of life affected by this situation. Strengthen faith and trust in You, knowing that You are the ultimate Restorer and Provider. We stand on Your Word in Proverbs 21:15, which says, "It is joy to the righteous to do justice; but it is a destruction to the workers of iniquity." Let justice be done, and let Your name be glorified in the outcome.

We pray that if there has been any hesitation or fear in pursuing legal or other rightful avenues, that You would grant wisdom, courage, and favor. May every threat or inappropriate action be exposed and rendered powerless, and may truth prevail. We trust in Your timing, Lord, and we declare that this situation will not remain unresolved. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray, believing that You will bring about a just and righteous resolution. Amen.

Do not grow weary in standing for what is right, for the Lord sees your struggle and will not abandon you. Galatians 6:9 reminds us, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up." Keep pressing forward in faith, knowing that God is your Defender and Provider. If legal steps are needed, seek godly counsel and proceed with wisdom, trusting that the Lord will guide your steps. We continue to stand with you in prayer, believing that God will move on your behalf.

We've been holding your situation in prayer, and we can hear how draining it is to suffer physically from that unsafe apartment while facing complete silence from the landlord. It's hard to wait for justice when you're still coping with skin problems, medical costs, and the stress of being ignored, especially after a month with no movement at all.

While we keep asking the Lord to stir the landlord's conscience and bring about a just resolution, we also want to encourage you to pursue whatever practical steps might be available where you live. Sometimes that looks like connecting with a tenant advocacy group, a free legal aid clinic, or a mediation service. Having an impartial third party involved can make it much harder for a landlord to simply look the other way. Taking that route isn't a lack of faith; it can be part of how God opens a door for the compensation you need.

We also hope you're not carrying the weight of this alone. If you haven't yet, please lean on a trusted friend, family member, or your church family for practical help and emotional support. You shouldn't have to figure out medical bills, alternative shower arrangements, and the lingering effects on your health in isolation.

Lord Jesus, You see every detail, the electric shocks, the illness, the mounting costs, and the silence that feels so heavy. Please move to bring the compensation and safety this person deserves. Soften the landlord's heart toward what is right, and grant clear next steps. Bring physical healing and deep peace to body and mind, and surround them with steady support. We ask in Your mighty name, Amen.

A month of prayer, and the heavens seem brass, the landlord’s heart unyielding, his conscience mute. Yet our wrestling is not with flesh and blood. The sore that demands the balm is not first his, but ours, that we might pray in the Holy Spirit. For that prayer which is not in the Holy Spirit is in the flesh; it has the sound and motion of devotion, but no fire from the altar. Have we truly caught hold of the Spirit’s own intercession, groaning with groanings that cannot be uttered, or have we merely rehearsed our afflictions before the throne? The Spirit helps our infirmities, teaching us how to pray, even pressing upon us the very words that move Omnipotence. Seek Him first, not the compensation, but the Comforter’s own presence in your pleading.

The landlord’s conscience is a province only the Holy Spirit can conquer. Judgments and terrors may produce a repentance of the flesh, a scrub of the Ethiopian’s skin, a nocturnal growth that withers in the morning sun. You have seen no remorse, no communication; yet carnal men under mere pressure of trouble often bluster or fall into a temporary alarm. True repentance is not the child of affliction, but of the Spirit’s own regenerating breath. It gives God the glory, whereas the worldling’s sorrow dotes on self and its losses. Do not marvel that the man is unmoved by your sufferings or even by the memory of electric shocks and skin afflictions. The thunders of Sinai alone cannot melt the adamant; they may only harden into blasphemy. If he is to be stirred, the Holy Spirit must breathe upon that dry-bone soul and create a living contrition. Cry, then, mightily for him, that he may not merely fear the law’s threat, but behold the love of Christ, whom he has offended.

Remember your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, if you have indeed received Him. That truth is a double-edged sword when a man’s negligence has caused its injury. It underscores the gravity of his wrong, for he has marred a shrine. Yet also it reminds you that your true Landlord holds the title deed to that clay cottage. The Great Landlord will one day require an account of every tenant who has harmed His property. Leave your case with Him who judges righteously. Sanctified misfortunes often prove the chisel that carves Christ’s image deeper upon us. The Spirit, grieved by unbelief and unholiness, is yet our Comforter in sorrow. He will not abandon His indwelling temple, even when its outer walls are battered. Let your faith not be consumed by the demand for earthly recompense, but feed on the certainty that He will perfect that which concerns you.

Persist in prayer, but take heed that you do not grieve the Spirit by a murmuring unbelief that charges God foolishly. The hope deferred that makes the heart sick is a trial, yet it may be the Spirit’s school, teaching you entire dependence. The landlord’s debt is real, and the wrongs are not hidden from the Most High, but your wealth lies not in silver guarantees. I would have you so full of the Spirit that, whether the man repents or not, your soul carols like a bird at sunrise. Only the Spirit can give such songs in the night. Wait upon Him, and though the adversary tarry, you shall not be ashamed.
