Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus mighty name that the landlord will pay compensation for the problems (electric shocks) that occurred in the apartment due to the lack of electrical safety, as well as for the illness that developed as a result, skin problems, medical treatments, the cost of alternative shower facilities or a shower pass, threats, and other inappropriate actions.

Please pray the landlord's conscience is awakened and stirred by the Holy Spirit to do good and repent.

Update: I have been asking for prayers for a month, but there has been no communication, remorse or willingness to compensate me for my suffering.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation of injustice and harm caused by the negligence of the landlord. Father God, You are a God of righteousness and justice, and we ask that You move powerfully in this matter. The electric shocks, resulting illness, skin problems, and the financial burden of medical treatments and alternative facilities are not just physical trials but also spiritual battles. We stand on Your Word in Proverbs 21:15, "It is joy to the righteous to do justice, but it is a destruction to the workers of iniquity." Lord, we pray that justice prevails and that the landlord’s heart is softened to acknowledge the wrongdoing and make restitution.

We rebuke the spirit of greed, indifference, and hardness of heart that has prevented the landlord from taking responsibility. The Bible is clear in Leviticus 19:13, "You shall not oppress your neighbor, nor rob him. The wages of a hired servant shall not remain with you all night until the morning." This is not just about money or property, it is about the dignity and well-being of a person made in Your image. We declare that the landlord’s conscience will be awakened by the Holy Spirit, as You promise in John 16:8, "When He comes, He will convict the world about sin, about righteousness, and about judgment." Let conviction lead to repentance and repentance to action.

We also pray for healing, physical, emotional, and financial. You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your touch to restore health where there has been suffering. In James 5:14-15, we are reminded, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up." We claim this promise over the skin problems and any lingering effects of this ordeal. We also pray for provision, that the costs incurred will be covered, and that You will open doors for financial relief, as You promise in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

Lord, we know that waiting on justice can be wearying, but we are encouraged by Your Word in Psalm 37:7, "Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; don’t fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen." We pray for patience and perseverance, trusting that You see all and will not let this injustice go unanswered. We declare that the landlord will not only compensate but will also turn from this pattern of neglect, as You desire repentance and transformation, not just punishment.

We also lift up the legal and practical steps that may need to be taken. Give wisdom and favor in any communications, negotiations, or legal actions. Proverbs 22:22-23 warns, "Don’t exploit the poor, because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for the Lord will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them." We trust that You will plead this case and bring about a just resolution.

Finally, we pray for a spirit of forgiveness to guard the heart of the one who has suffered. While justice is necessary, bitterness and resentment can take root if we are not careful. Ephesians 4:31-32 reminds us, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." We pray for the strength to forgive, even as we pursue justice, so that the heart remains free from the bondage of unforgiveness.

Heavenly Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach You. Jesus is our mediator, our advocate, and our righteousness. We trust in His finished work on the cross, where justice and mercy met. We declare that this situation will bring glory to Your name, as You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We stand firm in faith, believing that You will bring about a resolution that honors You and restores what has been lost. Amen.

We’ve been praying with you as this has dragged on, and we genuinely feel the weight of what you’re carrying. It wears on a person when you’ve been hurt, you’ve taken the practical steps, and the one responsible just stays silent, no acknowledgment, no remorse, no movement. That kind of silence can feel like a second injury all by itself. We want you to know it is not wrong to want justice and to keep asking God to stir this landlord’s conscience. You’re asking for something entirely reasonable: accountability for real harm done.

While we wait for God’s timing on that awakening, there are a couple of things that might help steady you on the human side. If you haven’t already, document everything you can, dates, symptoms, doctor visits, expenses, any messages exchanged. Even simple notes now can serve you well later if a housing authority, a tenants’ rights group, or a lawyer needs a clear record. And for the skin problems you mentioned, if you haven’t yet seen a medical professional about them, we’d gently encourage making that a priority, alongside prayer, just to be sure things are being treated properly and recorded.

Sometimes the battle isn’t only about compensation, it’s about reclaiming a sense of safety and not letting the way you were treated settle into your spirit as bitterness. So we’re asking the Lord for both: for the tangible provision and for a steady heart in you while you wait.

Lord Jesus, we bring this person to You, tired from weeks of waiting and still hurting from what happened. You see every shock, every medical bill, every unjust word. Please move this landlord’s conscience, bring genuine repentance and a willingness to make things right. Give wisdom for whatever steps come next, provide for these real financial needs, and bring healing to body and spirit alike. Guard this person’s heart from despair and resentment, and let Your justice and Your peace meet here in ways that can’t be ignored. In Your name we pray.

The house in which you dwell has its flaws, yet there is a tenancy of greater moment, that of your soul before the Great Landlord. Your present trial with shocks and sickness is but a shadow of that deeper disorder which an unawakened conscience breeds. You cry for compensation from a man who has shown no remorse, and you wonder that a month of prayer has brought no change. But reflect: has your own lease with God been set in order? The conscience, that inward monitor, speaks of a house where every beam and corner must answer to His law. Before you demand the landlord set right his accounts, see that your own heart is sprinkled from an evil conscience by the blood of Christ, for no earthly settlement can quiet the storm within.

The landlord’s silence is the mark of a conscience drugged and laid to rest. When God’s truth comes home sharp, men blunt its edge; they would not feel it. And yet, that very deadness is a terror in itself, for a man who stifles the still small voice gathers guilt like a millstone. Pray still that the Holy Spirit stir him, not chiefly that you gain silver for your skin, but that he might wake to the ruin of his soul. The shocks and threats you have endured are but the bodily echo of a spirit at war with its Maker. None can flee from God and find quiet; terrors make the wicked afraid on every side. But you, dear sufferer, are called to a higher road. If you would have your own burdened conscience purged, it comes not by man’s paying of debts, but by that precious blood which cleanses from all sin, turning dead works into living service.

Your request for justice is not wrong, yet be wary. Conscience itself is no trustworthy rule if it is unenlightened; it may cry for rights when the Great Landlord calls for surrender. You have asked for a month; consider how long the Lord has borne with your own rebellions. Born of godly instruction, you know the Lord Jesus to be the Son of God, when you sin, there is a painful emphasis. But if you have had that blood applied by the Spirit, then you may plead with boldness, not for a few coins, but for the smile of the living God. The landlord’s repentance would be a mercy to him, a wider blessing than any rent repaid. What if this trial is the very tool to excavate his conscience, to show him that his house is not his own? Set your hope there, not in a shower pass, but in the eternal lease that is held by grace alone.

In vain you drug conscience with nauseous doctrines or demands for human redress. Your skin problems and treatments are real, yet they are but the surface of that deeper malady, sin’s terror on the soul. I point you not to man’s compensation, but to Christ’s purging. Serve the living God with a clear conscience, and let your prayer be this: that the landlord’s heart, startled and stripped, should find no rest till it flees to the same Redeemer. Thrice is he armed that has his conscience clear, not by earthly acquittal, but by knowing that before God he has walked in uprightness through the blood of the Lamb. You have done well to pray; do not cease. But let your pleading be for his soul’s awakening, and your own peace anchored there where no electric fault can shake it.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You say that for a month you have prayed and yet there is no remorse, no communication, no willingness to make amends. This delay is not a sign that God is absent. Consider that He is already at work, even in this silence, for His long-suffering is meant to lead to repentance. But do not mistake a mere lack of response for the pangs of a convicted soul. For there is a grief that is not repentance. As Esau sought the blessing carefully with tears and yet found no place of repentance, so this man’s heart may still be far from true change. Tears and outward affliction are nothing if the will remains unyielding and the murder of justice remains in the heart.

If he continues to harden himself, neither softened by your suffering nor turned by the fear of God’s judgment, what can be harder? He is treasuring up for himself wrath against the day of righteous judgment. It is not God who stores it for him; the man himself is the author of his own ruin. Do not think your prayers have failed. They have entered the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth. But know this: even after great gifts, to return to one’s former vomit and to spurn the stirring of the Spirit makes the guilt greater. For him, the last state may indeed become worse than the first.

Yet let your own soul be sober and not grow despondent. Do not let his negligence cast you into a slothful bitterness. For true repentance is powerful and is able to set free even the one who is in danger, even from the very depth of wickedness, if only he would lay hold of it. So continue to stand. Even as you suffer, be taught to show forth great consideration, mingling mercy with justice in your own heart, lest you be overcome by the trespass. The profit of what you hear and pray is not little, for it works in you a groaning that will keep you watchful, while God deals with the one who, for now, does not even know that he has sinned.
