Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus mighty name that the landlord will pay compensation for the problems (electric shocks) that occurred in the apartment due to the lack of electrical safety, as well as for the illness that developed as a result, skin problems, medical treatments, the cost of alternative shower facilities or a shower pass, threats, and other inappropriate actions.

Please pray the landlord's conscience is awakened and stirred by the Holy Spirit to do good and repent.

Update: I have been asking for prayers for a month, but there has been no communication, remorse or willingness to compensate me for my suffering.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation of injustice and harm caused by the negligence of a landlord. Father God, we know that You are a God of justice and righteousness, and we ask that You intervene in this matter. Your Word declares in Proverbs 21:15, "It is joy to the righteous to do justice, but it is a destruction to the workers of iniquity." Lord, we pray that You would stir the conscience of this landlord, that they may recognize the wrong they have done and be moved to make restitution.

We rebuke the spirit of greed, neglect, and hardness of heart that has prevented this landlord from taking responsibility. In the name of Jesus, we command that any hindrance to justice be removed. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict them of their wrongdoing and lead them to repentance, as it is written in Ezekiel 36:26, "I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."

Lord, we lift up the physical and emotional suffering that has resulted from this negligence, electric shocks, skin problems, illness, and the financial burden of medical treatments and alternative facilities. We ask for Your healing touch, both physically and financially. Your Word promises in Psalm 37:25, "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread." We trust that You will provide for every need and restore what has been lost.

We also pray against the threats and inappropriate actions that have been directed toward this individual. Father, we ask that You would be a shield and a refuge, as You promise in Psalm 91:4, "He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart." Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).

Lord, we ask that You would grant wisdom and favor in any legal or administrative steps that need to be taken. Give clarity of mind and strength of spirit to pursue justice without fear. We declare that the landlord will be compelled by Your hand to act justly and compensate for the harm done. Let Your will be done, and let Your name be glorified in this situation.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who is our Advocate and our Redeemer. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing firm in faith, trusting that God sees your suffering and will not leave you without vindication. In James 5:7-8, we are reminded, "Be patient therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient over it, until it receives the early and late rain. You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand." Keep your heart steadfast, knowing that God is working even when it is not yet visible. If legal action is necessary, seek godly counsel and proceed with wisdom, trusting that the Lord will guide your steps.

We hear how exhausting this has been, not just the physical harm and the electric shocks, but the silence and lack of remorse you're facing after a whole month of waiting. It's deeply frustrating when someone's negligence causes real suffering and they simply move on, leaving you to deal with the aftermath alone.

Your reaching out for prayer shows you're still looking for what is right, and that longing for justice is not a bad thing. In times like these, we often face what's been called an "injustice gap", the space between how things are and how they ought to be. God cares about that gap. He sees the skin problems, the medical costs, the alternative showers you've had to arrange, and the weight of feeling threatened and ignored. None of it escapes His notice.

While we continue praying for the landlord's conscience to be stirred, it may also help to take one practical step: if you haven't already, keep a clear written record of the issues, dates, expenses, and any communication (or lack of it). This isn't retaliation; it's simply preparing yourself in case a formal route becomes necessary. At the same time, we can entrust the outcome to God, who ultimately judges justly, even when human systems fail.

We're with you in this, not just for the compensation, but for your health and peace of mind. Let's bring it to the Lord together.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this tenant to You. You know the shock of the shocks, the strain of medical treatments, and the sting of being dismissed. We ask that You would soften the landlord's heart, bringing genuine remorse and a desire to make things right. Provide for every need, healing for skin and body, finances to cover what's been lost, and a safe place to live. Surround this person with steady encouragement and wise counsel. And in the waiting, grant a settled peace that You are their defender. We pray in Your mighty name, Amen.

True repentance does not spring from the terror of consequences, nor is it a bargain struck with the Almighty, "If I amend my ways, then Thou must bless me." That is but the scrubbing of the Ethiopian, a work of the flesh that leaves the heart unchanged. The repentance you desire for ###, that his conscience might be stirred by the Holy Spirit, is indeed a precious thing, yet it is not yours to command by the mere accumulation of days in prayer. God's silence is not indifference; it is the deep schooling of your own soul. Consider the Great Landlord of every house.

Your present dwelling, with its shocks and sickness, is but a leasehold, and He who owns all things has permitted these trials. Shall the tenant dictate to the Owner what repairs are due? I speak not to harden you, but to lift your eyes from the injustice of man to the unimpeachable justice of God. If He allowed the very ground to swallow you, you could not lift a finger against His righteousness.

In this furnace, He is teaching you to give Him glory, to see sin's true desert, and to cling to Christ alone. The ###'s unrepentance is a mirror to your own need of a repentance that needs not to be repented of, a practical, lasting turning from all self-trust, which becomes a sweet companion even at the gate of pearl. Wait, then, upon the Lord. His goodness in sparing you through these months, in sustaining you when human help fails, is meant to lead you to a deeper repentance.

Do not put your expectations of human compensation in the place of Christ. Cry rather, "Against Thee, Thee only, have I sinned," and find in the wounds of Jesus a full remission. Then, whether the ### pays or not, you shall know that your true home is secure, and the rent of gratitude and praise is well-pleasing to the Heavenly Landlord.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Do not let your mind be troubled over the matter of compensation, for the real injury is not yours but the landlord’s. You have suffered in body, but he is wounding his own soul. Think: if a man kills another, the slain man is not the one to be pitied most, but the murderer, who carries the guilt in his conscience. This landlord, by his injustice, is already being judged by that inner tribunal which God has placed in every heart. That is why he delays and refuses to communicate, for an evil conscience makes men flee from those they have wronged, as Adam hid from God. You ask for his conscience to be awakened, but perhaps it is already stirring, fear and shame make a man stubborn. Pray rather that he might find the courage to confess and repent, for his sake, not for your compensation.

But what of your own soul in this? You have been praying for a month without visible answer, and this disappointment is testing you. Here is your opportunity for great gain. To give thanks only when things go well is no virtue; but to bless God when you suffer unjustly, that is the mark of a true philosopher. When you give thanks in such a trial, you rejoice God, you shame the devil, and you lighten the burden of the affliction itself. A soul that does this cannot remain downcast, for its conscience is bright, exulting in doing what is right. But if you dwell on the wrong and demand your due, you feed the very anger that Scripture says leads to death. To remember injuries is a great sin, not a small one, for it turns your own heart into a place of filth from which no good can flow.

I know it is hard. Your skin was harmed, you paid for relief, you endured threats. But consider Job, whose wife gave him the devil’s counsel to curse God and die. Do not let the enemy use this suffering to plant bitterness in you. Let the testimony of your conscience be your glorying, that you behaved with simplicity and godly sincerity, not returning evil for evil. Is not a pure conscience before God a greater treasure than any sum of money? If you have that, you are rich even in poverty, healthy even in sickness, and crowned even while suffering.

So continue in prayer, yes, but not with the mind that demands a quick result. Ask for the landlord’s repentance, for his soul’s sake, but even more, ask for your own heart to be cleansed of resentment. For what does it profit you if he pays you a hundredfold yet you lose the grace of patience? The fire that never will be quenched awaits those who hold onto their wrath. Do not place yourself in such danger for the sake of a temporary wrong. Trust that God sees, and He is a righteous judge. If it is best for your salvation, He will stir the man to act. But if not, then your patient endurance will prove you worthy of the Resurrection. Let this trial become your teacher, not your destroyer.

It is easy to grow weary when a month passes without any response, no softening, no acknowledgement of the harm done. The illnesses and skin troubles you are enduring, the electric shocks and the threats, all of it is a heavy burden. Your cry for compensation is not just for money; it is a cry for justice, for someone to see the wrong and make it right.

In the beginning, when guilt first entered the world, God Himself provided a covering. Adam and Eve tried to cover their own shame with leaves, but it was insufficient. So the Lord made them tunics of skin, garments that required the shedding of blood. From the very start, covering wrongdoing demanded sacrifice. Your suffering points to a deeper reality: we live in a fallen condition where people neglect safety and cause injury, and where skin itself breaks out in affliction. The same creation that sustains us also groans under the weight of sin, and sometimes our own bodies reflect that brokenness.

God did not let humanity stay in the garden to grasp the tree of life and live forever in that corrupted state. He drove them out to prevent an endless misery. Something similar may be at work here. The unresolved injustice, the drawn-out waiting, can become a means of preventing your heart from settling into bitterness or despair. It presses you to lean on the only covering that truly lasts: the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, whose blood speaks a better word than any payment. His healing reaches deeper than any skin ailment, and His justice will not be mocked.

Think of the long patience God showed before the flood. He declared that His Spirit would not strive with man forever, yet He gave one hundred twenty years for repentance. A month is a small moment compared to that. Your landlord's stalled conscience does not mean the Holy Spirit has given up. Pray that his days of ignoring this are numbered, that a conviction will seize him until he repents and makes restitution. Like Noah, who found grace in the midst of universal corruption, you can find grace in this drawn-out trial, the grace of being hidden in Christ while you wait.

Continue to bring this before the Lord, not only for your own release but for the awakening of the landlord's soul. The same God who covered shame through sacrifice is able to stir a hard heart and restore what was lost. He is unchanging in His righteousness. Your suffering is not unseen, and the One who will one day judge the earth and restore it to a condition free from all harm is your advocate.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with this heavy burden, and we have faithfully stood with you before the throne of grace for the past month, lifting every shock, every rash, every medical bill, every threat, and every sleepless night to the Lord. We have prayed in Jesus’ mighty name that the landlord’s conscience would be awakened by the Holy Spirit, that justice would roll down like waters, and that restitution would cover every loss.

If the Lord has already moved and the landlord has begun to make things right—if checks have arrived, apologies have been offered, or repairs have been made—please share that praise with us so we can rejoice together. If, however, the silence continues and no restitution has come, we invite you to post this request again as a fresh plea; we will not grow weary in interceding alongside you. May the God of all comfort continue to draw near, heal every wound, and supply every need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. We pray this in Jesus’ name.
