We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation of injustice and harm caused by the negligence of a landlord. Father God, we know that You are a God of justice and righteousness, and we ask that You intervene in this matter. Your Word declares in Proverbs 21:15, "It is joy to the righteous to do justice, but it is a destruction to the workers of iniquity." Lord, we pray that You would stir the conscience of this landlord, that they may recognize the wrong they have done and be moved to make restitution.
We rebuke the spirit of greed, neglect, and hardness of heart that has prevented this landlord from taking responsibility. In the name of Jesus, we command that any hindrance to justice be removed. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict them of their wrongdoing and lead them to repentance, as it is written in Ezekiel 36:26, "I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."
Lord, we lift up the physical and emotional suffering that has resulted from this negligence, electric shocks, skin problems, illness, and the financial burden of medical treatments and alternative facilities. We ask for Your healing touch, both physically and financially. Your Word promises in Psalm 37:25, "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread." We trust that You will provide for every need and restore what has been lost.
We also pray against the threats and inappropriate actions that have been directed toward this individual. Father, we ask that You would be a shield and a refuge, as You promise in Psalm 91:4, "He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart." Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we ask that You would grant wisdom and favor in any legal or administrative steps that need to be taken. Give clarity of mind and strength of spirit to pursue justice without fear. We declare that the landlord will be compelled by Your hand to act justly and compensate for the harm done. Let Your will be done, and let Your name be glorified in this situation.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who is our Advocate and our Redeemer. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing firm in faith, trusting that God sees your suffering and will not leave you without vindication. In James 5:7-8, we are reminded, "Be patient therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient over it, until it receives the early and late rain. You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand." Keep your heart steadfast, knowing that God is working even when it is not yet visible. If legal action is necessary, seek godly counsel and proceed with wisdom, trusting that the Lord will guide your steps.
