Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus mighty name that the landlord will pay compensation for the problems (electric shocks) that occurred in the apartment due to the lack of electrical safety, as well as for the illness that developed as a result, skin problems, medical treatments, the cost of alternative shower facilities or a shower pass, threats, and other inappropriate actions.

Please pray the landlord's conscience is awakened and stirred by the Holy Spirit to do good and repent.

Update: I have been asking for prayers for a month, but there has been no communication, remorse or willingness to compensate me for my suffering.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation in fervent prayer. Father God, we know that You are a God of justice and righteousness, and we ask that You move mightily in this matter. Your Word declares in Proverbs 21:15, "It is joy to the righteous to do justice, but it is a destruction to the workers of iniquity." Lord, we pray that the landlord’s heart would be softened and his conscience awakened by the Holy Spirit to do what is right. May he recognize the harm caused by his neglect and be moved to repentance and restitution.

We rebuke the spirit of greed, indifference, and hardness of heart that may be at work in this situation. In the name of Jesus, we command justice to prevail and for the landlord to take responsibility for the suffering that has occurred. Your Word tells us in Luke 12:48, "To whomever much is given, of him will much be required." Lord, we ask that You impress upon the landlord the weight of his responsibility and the need to make amends.

Father, we also lift up the physical and emotional toll this situation has taken. We pray for healing from the skin problems and any lingering effects of the electrical shocks. We ask that You provide wisdom for the medical treatments and cover all associated costs. Your Word assures us in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds." We claim this promise over this situation and trust in Your provision for alternative shower facilities or any other needs that have arisen.

We also pray against the spirit of intimidation and fear that may have come through threats or inappropriate actions. In 2 Timothy 1:7, Your Word declares, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We rebuke any spirit of fear and ask that You replace it with Your peace and assurance. Lord, give strength and courage to stand firm in the face of adversity, knowing that You are a God who fights for the oppressed.

Father, we ask that You would open doors for resolution and communication where there has been silence. We pray that the landlord would be moved to reach out with a heart of repentance and a willingness to make things right. If legal or other steps are necessary, we ask that You guide each decision and provide favor in every interaction. Your Word tells us in Romans 13:4 that governing authorities are Your servants for good, and we pray that any necessary intervention would bring about justice.

Lord, we also lift up the emotional and spiritual burden that comes with prolonged injustice. We ask that You pour out Your comfort and peace, reminding that You see every detail and will not leave this matter unresolved. In Psalm 37:6, You promise, "He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, your justice like the noonday sun." We trust in Your timing and Your justice, Lord.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who is our Advocate and Redeemer. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified through the resolution of this matter. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing firm in faith, knowing that God hears your prayers and sees your suffering. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Keep trusting in the Lord, and lean not on your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). If legal recourse is necessary, seek godly counsel and trust that the Lord will guide you through the process. You are not alone in this battle, and we stand with you in prayer.

We've been thinking about you and the long month you've carried this, waiting for a landlord to respond, while still dealing with the fallout from unsafe conditions. It's understandable to feel worn down when someone who owes you basic fairness seems unmoved. We're sorry for what you've endured, and we believe God sees every detail.

Even when we don't see change, God's heart for justice doesn't waver. He treasures your wellbeing and cares deeply about mistreatment. While we pray for your landlord's conscience to be awakened, and we will, real repentance often shows itself in concrete action, not just regret. So we also ask God to give you wisdom about next steps. Sometimes He answers persistent prayer through practical help: a tenant rights advisor, a safe contact through your church, or someone who can walk with you through any process to seek what's owed. You don't have to navigate this alone.

We're asking the Lord to restore your health, to ease the skin problems and the stress that flows from feeling unheard. And we pray he'd guard your heart from bitterness as you wait, because you matter far more than money.

Jesus, you see this aching situation. We ask you to stir the landlord toward genuine change, not just sorrow, but a willingness to make things right. Protect this person from further harm. Provide trusted help for the practical path ahead, and pour out your peace in the middle of the uncertainty. In your strong name we pray, amen.

There is a Landlord whose eye misses no wrong, and whose hand will by no means clear the guilty. Though this earthly proprietor may shut his ears, the great Householder of heaven and earth hears every cry of the oppressed. Consider that the house wherein you dwell, with its shocks and perils, is but a tent for a night; the lease runs quickly to its end. Yet the Landlord of all has written into the lease this clause: that He will enter and inspect His own property. He marks every flaw in the wiring, every threat from the lips of man, every blister upon the skin of the sufferer. He keeps a strict account, and the arrears of justice are never lost to His ledger.

But what is the rent due from you in this trial? It is not to let the venom of bitterness eat at your spirit, nor to fix your gaze so long upon the wrong that you forget the Healer. Bring your cause before the throne, indeed, and plead the awakening of that man’s conscience. Yet, while you wait, see to it that your own house is set in order. Are you content to live upon sufferance as a tenant of the Almighty, trusting His timing? Or has the month of silence begun to breed a root of resentment that defiles? The flesh is prone to cling to its rights so tightly that it tears the skin when prised away. But there is a better compensation: the fullness of Christ, who was stripped that we might be clothed. When the soul is emptied of its demand for immediate payment, it is made ready to receive grace for every shock and medicine for every sore. Cry out for the landlord’s repentance, yes, but let your own heart be kept sweet by the supply that comes from the Treasury of saints. He who bore the nails is not indifferent to the piercing of your hands. Wait on Him, and commit this shoddy tenement and its master into the hands of the Judge of all the earth, who will do right.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You speak of electric shocks, skin ailments, and the cost of showers, but I ask you to consider a more dangerous shock, the one that threatens the soul when it seeks its own vindication over the health of the spirit. You have been wronged, this is clear. Yet you must understand who has truly been injured. The one who by violence and threats has refused to make right what he owes, it is he who has wrapped himself in dangers, not you. For if you endure this nobly, the law of God declares him wretched and you, the injured party, it crowns with praise.

Do not marvel that I say this. If you injure, you are injured; if you are injured, then you are uninjured. No one can really harm your soul unless you harm it yourself. So where you now whet your tongue to ask for compensation and a stirred conscience in another, turn that blade first against your own sins. Accuse yourself for your impatience over this month of silence. Tell what evil you have permitted to grow in your own heart, for that is the most genuine evil. The grasping landlord does himself the greatest injury and you the greatest good, if only you do not avenge yourself in your prayers.

What would you have gained if you had cursed him or broadcast his wrongs? You would have used a coarse weapon and diminished your own reward. Instead, give thanks for the injury and glorify God. By that thanksgiving you gain ten thousand rewards, while he gathers for himself a fire unspeakable. Your prayer must not be for what his conscience owes you, but for what grace might yet save him. For this is what delights God, not returning evil for evil, but returning the opposite: benefits, and prayers. Did not Christ wash the feet of the one who would betray Him, and continue doing His own part, though the man was not made better?

Do not be troubled that he shows no remorse, that his heart is stone, softened neither by goodness nor turned back by fear. What he does is hard, yet know this: it is not God who is treasuring up wrath for him; it is he who treasures up wrath for himself. When you see him unyielding, remember the deadness of a soul that does not perform its proper work. A beast speaking with a man’s voice is monstrous, but a human heart rapacious and showing no care for virtue, how can we say that soul is truly alive? Yet your own soul must take care not to join him in that filth by letting bitterness become your fountain.

Let this one go his way for now, as the wild beast that harms only when pressed. If you permit him, he cannot ultimately harm you. You seek a shower pass and a cure for your skin, but I would see you plunge into the heavenly gift that refreshes the soul. You have tasted of forgiveness and the good word of God; do not, by clinging to a claim for compensation, risk crucifying the Son of God afresh in your heart through a love of earthly settlement. The greater marvel is not that God can move a landlord’s purse, but that He has given you the Spirit to grant life to those who wrong you through your prayers. Therefore, weep for him who does the wrong, for he is the fit subject of weeping. And go your way, blessed by the injury that sends you more quickly toward the kingdom.
