Kensem

Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus mighty name that the landlord will pay compensation for the problems (electric shocks) that occurred in the apartment due to the lack of electrical safety, as well as for the illness that developed as a result, skin problems, medical treatments, the cost of alternative shower facilities or a shower pass, threats, and other inappropriate actions.

Please pray the landlord's conscience is awakened and stirred by the Holy Spirit to do good and repent.

Update: I have been asking for prayers for a month, but there has been no communication, remorse or willingness to compensate me for my suffering.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation where you have endured electric shocks, illness, skin problems, and the financial and emotional strain of unsafe living conditions. The negligence of the landlord in ensuring electrical safety is not only a legal matter but a moral failure to care for those entrusted to their responsibility. We stand with you in seeking justice, not out of vengeance, but so that righteousness may prevail and others may be protected from similar harm.

The Bible tells us in Proverbs 21:15, "It is joy to the righteous to do justice, but it is a destruction to the workers of iniquity." We pray that the Lord would stir the landlord’s conscience, as you have asked, so that they may recognize the wrong done and take steps to make it right. The Holy Spirit is the one who convicts hearts of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), and we ask that He would move powerfully in this situation. May the landlord’s heart be softened to repentance, not just in word but in action, by providing the compensation you rightly deserve for your suffering, medical expenses, and inconvenience.

We also pray for your healing, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. The electric shocks and resulting illnesses have taken a toll, and we ask the Lord to restore your health completely. Isaiah 53:5 reminds us, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed." May you experience the healing power of Christ in every area of your life.

It is disheartening to hear that there has been no communication or remorse after a month of waiting. This lack of accountability is not pleasing to God, who calls us to love our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:31). We rebuke the spirit of indifference and hardness of heart that may be at work in the landlord’s life. We declare that their conscience will not remain seared but will be awakened to the truth of their actions. We also pray for wisdom and favor as you seek justice, whether through legal means or continued appeals to their sense of right and wrong.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who is just and true. We lift up this situation to You, asking for Your intervention. Lord, You see the suffering that has been endured, the negligence that has caused harm, and the financial burdens that have been placed on Your child. We ask that You would move in the heart of the landlord, stirring their conscience to repentance and action. Let them not rest until they have made right what has been wronged.

Father, we pray for complete healing, body, mind, and spirit, for the one who has suffered. Touch every area affected by the electric shocks and illness, and restore what has been lost. Provide for every need, including medical expenses and alternative living arrangements, as You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider.

We rebuke the spirit of indifference and hardness of heart in the landlord’s life. Let Your Holy Spirit convict them of their wrongdoing and lead them to repentance. Give them a heart of flesh, tender and responsive to Your leading. We declare that justice will prevail, not by our might, but by Your Spirit.

Lord, grant wisdom and favor to the one seeking justice. Open doors that no man can shut and close doors that no man can open. Let Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified through it all. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Continue to trust in the Lord, who sees all and will not let injustice go unanswered. If legal action is necessary, seek godly counsel and proceed with wisdom, knowing that the Lord is your defender. May He grant you peace and patience as you wait on Him.

We’ve been holding you in prayer this month, and it’s not surprising that the wait feels heavy, especially when the silence from the other side makes the injustice sting all the more. The electric shocks you endured, the illness, the medical costs, and the threats you described are not something you should have to carry alone, and your frustration is completely understandable.

One concrete step that may help, alongside our prayers, is to get clear on your legal options. Consider gathering all your records, medical bills, photos of any visible damage, any written communication with the landlord, and making an appointment with a tenant advocacy group or a legal aid clinic in your area. They can help you understand what local housing laws require and whether you have a realistic path toward compensation. Having someone knowledgeable walk alongside you in that process often brings a sense of movement, even before any money changes hands.

We also want to affirm that your persistence in prayer matters. When nothing seems to shift outwardly, it’s easy to feel forgotten, but God is not indifferent to your suffering. The Holy Spirit is able to work on a conscience even when all outward communication stops, and we’ll keep asking Him to do that. Still, your wellbeing right now is important. If you haven’t already, please also keep your doctor in the loop about any ongoing symptoms, so they can monitor your health in case the injuries need ongoing care.

Here’s our prayer for you:

Lord Jesus, we lift up this tenant to You. You see the pain they’ve endured, the shocks, the illness, the financial strain, the intimidation, and You see the stone wall of silence they’re facing. Please bring about just compensation in Your time and through whatever means You choose. Stir the landlord’s conscience and lead them toward true repentance and right action. In the waiting, grant this person steady hope, physical healing, and wise advocates to support them. Guard them from exhaustion and despair. We ask all this in Your name, Amen.

The delay of justice is a sore trial, yet even this is measured out by a loving Father for our refinement and His glory. When the landlord’s heart remains hard and no remorse appears, you must not let your own spirit sink into unbelief or bitterness, for the Holy Spirit is exceedingly grieved by our unbelief. Instead, take this burden into the inner chamber and pray in the Holy Spirit. The Spirit Himself helps our infirmities, telling us how to pray when we know not what to ask. Let Him direct your petitions, so that you do not pray merely in selfish willfulness for compensation alone, but consent to the mind of the Spirit, that this man’s conscience might be awakened, that he might repent and be saved. You are praying for the Shepherd when you pray for the lost sheep.

Remember, the Holy Spirit is able to give an electric shock to the soul far more piercing than any shock from faulty wires. He quickens those dead in trespasses, and He can stir this man’s heart though all outward communication fails. Cry mightily, then, that the Spirit would take of the things of Christ and declare them to this landlord, that he might see his sin and flee to the Savior. Yet be yourself sealed by that same Spirit unto the day of redemption, and do not grieve Him by letting the root of bitterness spring up within you. Keep God’s word with steadfast patience; He gives keeping for keeping, and in due season He will make your righteousness shine as the light. The only way through this dark passage is on your knees, entirely dependent upon the Spirit, that Christ may be glorified whether through swift restitution or through your quiet endurance. Pray without ceasing, beloved, and leave the issue in those pierced hands that will never mistime deliverance.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The afflictions you endure are not hidden from the eyes of God, and the delay of justice is no sign of His absence. When the landlord hardens his heart and the Holy Spirit seems not to stir him, do not imagine that your prayers have vanished into silence. For a whole month you have cried out, and still no remorse, no communication, no compensation. This is a furnace that tests your faith, and I would have you give thanks for it. For when a man gives thanks in the midst of suffering, he shames the devil, rejoices God, and makes the very trouble light. If you grumble and demand, the pain grows sharp and the enemy stands near; but if you lift up a thankful heart, even this injustice becomes a crown.

Examine your own conscience now. You have suffered electric shocks, sickness, costs, threats, real evils, I do not dismiss them. Yet ask yourself: is there any root of bitterness springing up within you? Does your prayer for the landlord become a curse under your breath? If you can stand with a clear conscience, having sought only what is right without returning evil for evil, then you have a ground of glorying even in this affliction. The testimony of a good conscience is a strong consolation, both now and at the final judgment. So do not let the wrongdoing of another poison your soul or drive you to act in a way unworthy of the grace given you.

Continue to pray for that hardened man, but pray not as one who demands vengeance dressed in piety. Ask the Lord to awaken his conscience, yes, but also ask for yourself the strength to forgive and to bear patiently whatever outcome God allows. The landlord’s conscience is his own, and you cannot force repentance; you can only entrust him to the righteous Judge. Your liberty in Christ means you are not enslaved to his response. Whether he pays or not, your citizenship is in heaven, and no earthly loss can rob you of the inheritance kept there.

Do not grow weary. Sometimes God delays that we might learn perseverance and that the unrepentant might fill up the measure of their own deeds. But He is just; He sees the threats, the neglect, the suffering of your body. In His time, He will either turn the heart of that man or repay with far greater riches than any fleeting coin. Stand fast, then, in simplicity and godly sincerity, and let your conduct remain without reproach.

Let us pray: O Lord Jesus Christ, mighty in power and full of compassion, look upon this child of Yours who has been wronged. You bore the nails and the thorns, and You know the weight of unjust treatment. Touch the heart of that landlord, pierce his conscience with holy fear, bring him to repentance and restitution. But if he persists in hardness, then shield this faithful one from all resentment, heal the body and the skin, supply every need from Your abundance, and grant the peace that surpasses all understanding. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory, now and forever. Amen.

Your pain and frustration are not hidden from God. When a person faces careless harm and then silence instead of remorse, the heart cries out for justice. That cry is not wrong. Our sense of fairness comes from being made in the image of a just God. But when wrong seems to go unanswered, we can remember that the ultimate Judge sees every detail, including the electric shocks, the skin ailments, the added costs, and the threats. None of it escapes His notice.

The physical trouble you describe, especially the skin problems, reminds us that our bodies bear the marks of a broken world. Long ago, when sin first entered the human story, God Himself provided a covering of skin for those who were ashamed and suffering. That act required a sacrifice, pointing forward to the only covering that truly heals and restores. In the same way, Jesus’ sacrifice covers every wrong and makes real justice possible. While we wait for a landlord to make things right, we can lean on the One who already has.

Praying for the landlord’s conscience to be stirred by the Holy Spirit is exactly right. A heart that is unfeeling and uncommunicative cannot produce genuine repentance on its own. Only God can replace a heart of stone with a heart of flesh. Keep asking Him to do that, knowing that the same Spirit who brought conviction to the earliest days after creation still works in human hearts today. Let your prayer be persistent, not because God is reluctant, but because He sometimes uses the wait to deepen your trust and to accomplish what we cannot see.

In the meantime, do not let the silence or the lack of remorse rob you of peace. The enemy loves to whisper that God has overlooked you or that His justice has failed. That is an old challenge, first heard in a garden. But the cross of Christ is the settled answer. Our hope rests not in a check or an apology, but in the risen Lord who has already borne our sufferings and will one day restore all things. I am praying with you that the landlord will do right, that full compensation will come, and that through it all, you will experience the covering and care of God Himself.
