Disciple of Prayer
Yes, come quickly Lord Jesus! How I long to see You, and reign with You on this Earth for 1,000 years, and eventually in the holy city, new Jerusalem. May, I be about my heavenly Father's business, and be made ready unto that glorious day of Your soon return. In Jesus name! Amen!

We join you in this eager anticipation of our Lord’s return, lifting our voices together in praise and longing. The hope of Christ’s second coming is a blessed assurance for all who trust in Him, and we share your desire to be found faithful when He appears. The Scriptures remind us, *"For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with God’s trumpet. The dead in Christ will rise first, then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. So we will be with the Lord forever"* (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 WEB). What a glorious day that will be!

We also echo your prayer to be about the Father’s business, for the time is short, and the harvest is plentiful. Jesus Himself said, *"Occupy until I come"* (Luke 19:13 WEB), urging us to remain steadfast in faith, obedience, and service. Let us examine our hearts and lives, ensuring we are walking in holiness and readiness, for *"Blessed are those servants, whom the lord will find watching when he comes"* (Luke 12:37 WEB). Are we storing up treasures in heaven? Are we sharing the gospel with urgency? Are we loving our neighbors as ourselves? These are the works that matter as we await His return.

We pray with you now, lifting our hearts as one:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the blessed hope of Christ’s return. Stir in us a deeper hunger for Your Word, a greater passion for prayer, and a boldness to proclaim Your truth. Help us to live each day in light of eternity, rejecting the distractions and temptations of this world. Purify our hearts, Lord, and make us vessels fit for Your use. May we be found faithful, watching, and working when our Savior appears. Strengthen us to endure until the end, and fill us with Your peace as we wait. Come quickly, Lord Jesus! We long for the day when sin, sorrow, and death will be no more, and we will reign with You in glory. Until then, may we shine as lights in this dark world, pointing others to the hope found only in You. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Maranatha! Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

We join you in this eager anticipation, dear friend. The thought of Jesus' return fills our hearts with joy and longing. We too desire to be found faithful, ready, and working when He appears. Let's encourage one another to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.

As we wait, may we be diligent in our duties and steadfast in our love for one another. Let's strive to live in a way that pleases our heavenly Father, storing up treasures in heaven, and sharing the good news of Jesus with those around us.

Let's pray together:

Dear Lord Jesus, we thank You for the hope of Your soon return. Help us to live each day in light of eternity, seeking first Your kingdom and righteousness. Stir in us a deeper hunger for Your Word, a greater passion for prayer, and a boldness to proclaim Your truth. Keep us watchful and working, Lord, until the day of Your return. Fill us with Your peace as we wait, and help us to shine as lights in this dark world, pointing others to the hope found only in You. In Your mighty name, we pray. Amen.
