Grant us all hunger for The Word, 1 Peter 2:2, Holy Spirit of Revelation, Eph 1:17, Flesh and Blood does not reveal Messiah, Matt 16:17, but OUR FATHER in Heaven! Father, let the Holy Spirit convict and convert, Jn 16:8, teach us all things, Jn 16:13, open minds to UNDERSTAND SCRIPTURES, Lk 24:45 -- and faith to pray and receive, Mark 11:24, (Faith comes by hearing the message preached), Rom 10:17 -- God, You will that none would perish, but all to come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, that all would be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 2 Tim 2:1-5, even all in authority, and all our households, Acts 16:31. We come before the throne of grace with hearts burdened for the spiritual vitality of church leaders, pastors, teachers, worship leaders, and preachers, who carry the weighty responsibility of shepherding God’s flock. Father, we lift them up to You, asking that You would revive their devotional lives, for it is in the secret place of prayer and the study of Your Word that they find strength, wisdom, and anointing. "But you, when you pray, enter into your inner room, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly" (Matthew 6:6). May their time with You be unhurried, undistracted, and filled with the revelation of Christ, for flesh and blood does not reveal Him, but the Father in heaven (Matthew 16:17).

Lord, we pray that these leaders would not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season they will reap if they do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Grant them times of rest, recuperation, and refreshing from Your presence, as You promised in Acts 3:19-20. When they are exhausted, remind them of David’s example in 1 Samuel 30:6, where he strengthened himself in the Lord his God. Let them find their strength in You, for You are their ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). May they lead by example, demonstrating a life of repentance, humility, and dependence on the Holy Spirit, for "not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of Hosts" (Zechariah 4:6).

We rebuke the spirit of complacency and distraction that seeks to draw them away from their first love. Father, ignite in them a holy fire to seek You daily, to intercede for their congregations, and to study Your Word with diligence. May their teaching be sound, their preaching bold, and their lives a living testimony of Your grace. We pray for their families as well, that they would be drawn to the church, not out of obligation, but by the Father’s drawing (John 6:44). Let them hear the Word with faith, for "faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17). May the Holy Spirit convict and convert those who are lost, turning wanderers from the truth and saving souls, as James 5:19-20 declares.

Father, we ask that You would grant freedom in worship, that Your people would worship You in spirit and in truth (John 4:24). Pour out Your Holy Spirit upon them, that they may be anointed with fresh oil to proclaim the gospel with power. Protect them from the evil one, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Guard their minds from the deception of the enemy, who delights in ignorance of Your Word (Hosea 4:6). May they not forsake the assembling of themselves together, as Hebrews 10:25 warns, but let them fellowship daily, as the early church did in Acts 2:42. May the Lord’s Supper be a sacred time of communion with Christ, not a ritual, but a reminder of His sacrifice until He comes (1 Corinthians 11:26).

We pray for a hunger for Your Word to be stirred in every heart, that they would crave the pure milk of the Word, as newborn babes (1 Peter 2:2). Open their minds to understand the Scriptures (Luke 24:45) and grant them the faith to pray and receive, for "whatever things you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them" (Mark 11:24). Father, You desire that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Use these leaders as vessels to seek and save the lost, for the Son of Man came to do just that (Luke 19:10). May their households, their congregations, and their communities be transformed by the power of the gospel.

We declare that every promise of God is "Yes" and "Amen" in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 1:20). May these leaders walk in the fullness of Your calling, empowered by the Holy Spirit to make disciples of all nations. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). For there is no other foundation than Christ, and no other way to the Father but through Him (John 14:6). May Your kingdom come and Your will be done in their lives, their churches, and their communities. Amen.

We pray alongside you for these leaders, pastors, teachers, worship leaders, preachers, and for the family members you ache to see gathered in. The very fact you are standing in this wide intercession matters deeply. Many times the difference in a leader’s season of battle is knowing someone is quietly, steadily lifting them before the Lord.

One thing we have seen is that spiritual devotion isn’t about a sudden burst of discipline; it’s more like training for a marathon than trying to sprint once. When we pray for leaders to be refreshed in the Word and in prayer, we’re asking for that long, steady work of the Spirit, captivated hearts in the small, unseen hours that carry them. So keep asking the Father to renew their first love, not just their schedule.

A concrete step you might consider: let one of those pastors or worship leaders know you are praying for them by name. A short note, a text, or a quiet word after a service can be a surprising gift. Sometimes we’ve even offered to watch a leader’s children for an afternoon so they can have a block of unhurried time alone with God. For your own family members, a gentle invitation, maybe to a church picnic or a meal with a few trusted believers, often opens the door without pressure, and the Lord uses ordinary hospitality.

We trust the same Spirit who draws all people to Jesus to work in ways we cannot manufacture. Rest your heart in that.

Lord Jesus, we lift up these worn and faithful leaders. Refresh them with your presence. Give them genuine times of rest, of recreation, of joyful encounter with you. Guard their own families and draw the lost ones to yourself. Fill them with hope and steady love for your people. In your name we pray, amen.

The heart of your plea is heard: it is the cry for the Lord to do what only He can do. Lay hold of this, "Salvation is of the Lord." He must draw, He must revive, He must anoint. No minister's study, no visitation, no tract can quicken a dead soul. As the evil is sufficient, so will the grace be. You ask for souls, but souls are in His hand alone. Pray for your under-shepherds, that they would be empty reeds through which the wind of the Spirit blows; for if any man thinks he has done the work, God may hold back lest the world should say the man has accomplished it.

You cry for families to be drawn, for minds to be opened, for faith to be given. Then let the Church hear His dying word for her: "It is finished." The Shepherd has done His work; your expectation is not in vain. The price is paid, the way is opened. Is the work finished for me, for you, for the hearers? Yes, if we look only to Jesus. Faith is not a labor to be mustered; it is the hand that receives a completed salvation. Do not look for some new revelation, but preach Christ, the power of God and the wisdom of God.

You long for worship in spirit and truth, for the anointing from the Anointed One. Then starve every other appetite that hungers for the bread of this world. A man devoured by hunger in the midst of plenty, that is the soul seeking lasting good apart from God. Let your people daily feed upon the Word, that their strength be not starved. The Word is alive, powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword. When it is spoken by the Lord, it pierces, it divides soul and spirit, it lays bare the thoughts. Bring the congregation there, to the Word, and the Word will do its own work. The Christ in the Word is the best of power.

For the preachers and teachers who are spent and need refreshing, remember that the Lord’s instruments are but stars in His right hand. Necessary to Christ? By no means, for the sun does not need the stars to shine. Yet He stoops to use them. They must be kept there, in His hand, for the fiends of hell will puff at them. Let them seek their strength not from recreation alone, but from the mighty quickening of the Spirit upon the Word. And let the Church pray for her messengers, for a lifeless pulpit is a dishonor to God; the better a church has been, the more of a nuisance it becomes when the presence of God is gone from it.

Therefore, let the prayer be fervent: "Come from the four winds, O Breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live." Keep the word of His patience, and He will keep you in the hour of trial. To every striving soul, to every laborer faint with the burden, hear this: the ultimate perfection of salvation is of the Lord. The Author will be the Finisher. Cast yourselves upon Him, for He has not left His Church without a word of comfort: "It is finished." Rest there, and in resting, you shall find strength to labor.

Everywhere we have need of faith, the mother of blessings, the medicine of salvation. Without it we are like those who attempt to swim the open sea without a ship, who for a little while hold out by their own strength, but then are swallowed by the waves. You pray for freedom to worship in spirit and truth, and rightly so, for the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. Not in a mountain, nor in Jerusalem, but in the Church is the true worship, the reality to which even the Jews' knowledge pointed. Salvation is of the Jews, for from them came the Christ according to the flesh, and the root of blessings; yet now we know what we worship, for the Son has revealed the Father.

But you ask mercy for pastors and teachers, that they might be refreshed and seek God in prayer and study. Let them first consider this: if a man cannot rule his own house well, having his children in subjection with all gravity, how shall he take care of the Church of God? The house is the smaller household; if he fails there, who will entrust him with the greater? So those who would lead must begin in their own homes, showing by example the gravity of a life ordered to God.

You also pray that families and members may be drawn to the assembly, not forsaking the gathering as is the manner of some. Indeed, I blush for those who scarce once in the year are seen in church. They neglect the very comfort and salvation that flow from the common meeting, where the death of Christ is proclaimed. To such negligence add not the hope of salvation; rather, let us attend whenever the church assembles, that hearing the word, faith may be born in their hearts. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the message preached.

Above all, cling to that chief point of salvation: the Dispensation by which the bonds of death were loosed and the curse abolished. Believe it, and let your prayer be that this faith may be revealed in those you love, not by place or by mere custom, but in spirit and truth, through the Holy Spirit who teaches all things.

Your prayer carries a wonderful burden: a longing for those who lead worship and open the Word to be refreshed in the presence of the Lord, and a deep desire for family and friends to be drawn into saving faith. That kind of intercession rises from a heart that understands what the church is meant to be. As I read your words, I find myself thinking about how Jesus, in the opening chapters of Revelation, walks among the lampstands, inspecting and speaking to His people. His messages there cut through every generation, and they speak directly to the concerns you have brought.

When Jesus addressed the seven churches, He gave us a complete picture of His body on earth. Tragically, church history has often been a story of drifting from that first love, of letting devotion cool into mere routine, of blending with the world’s systems. Yet in every age, the Lord has preserved a faithful remnant. He sees the weary pastor, the worship leader weighed down by service, and He calls out, “Repent and do the first works.” The solution for any spiritual dryness is never to push harder in our own strength, but to return to the simplicity we see in the book of Acts. There we find what God intended: a people devoted to the apostles’ teaching, to fellowship, to breaking bread, and to prayer. That is where refreshing comes from the presence of the Lord.

Your prayer for daily devotion and sound teaching touches the very heart of the matter. When a leader is emptied by constant output, the well is refilled not by earthly recreation alone, but by drinking deeply from the Spirit in times of unhurried study and prayer. David encouraged himself in the Lord his God, and the same mercy is available today. Jesus is the Head of the church, and He supplies His messengers with exactly what they need to feed the flock. So pray with confidence, because you are asking according to His will: He wants His undershepherds to be nourished on the Word so they can skillfully handle it. He wants them to visit homes, to intercede, and to lead with hearts that are soft and repentant, not mechanical.

As for your family members, your plea that the Father would draw them by revelation is grounded in the promises of Scripture. No one comes to Jesus unless the Father draws, and the Holy Spirit is the one who opens minds to understand the gospel. The same Spirit who convinces the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment is at work in the lives of those you love. You are asking for exactly what God delights to give: the knowledge of forgiveness, newness of life, a vision of who Christ is. The prayer for them to attend regularly, to hunger for the Word like newborn babies, and to receive it with meekness is not a formula but a stretching out of faith. As you continue to reach out with tracts, with testimony, with gentle visits, you are participating in the very thing James spoke of: turning a sinner from the error of his way.

Never underestimate the power of ordinary, persevering prayer. The cry for salvation that fills your heart is an echo of the eternal song that will one day rise from every nation, tribe, and tongue. Even now, though the church on earth is flawed and often appears weak, Jesus is building His assembly, and the gates of hell will not overcome it. He will save to the uttermost all who draw near to God through Him. Continue to seek the lost, continue to lift up your leaders, and continue to rest in the truth that when we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. The revival you long for may not come with outward show, but it will come as one heart at a time returns to a living, loving, faithful walk with the One who walks among the lampstands.
