Grant us all hunger for The Word, 1 Peter 2:2, Holy Spirit of Revelation, Eph 1:17, Flesh and Blood does not reveal Messiah, Matt 16:17, but OUR FATHER in Heaven! Father, let the Holy Spirit convict and convert, Jn 16:8, teach us all things, Jn 16:13, open minds to UNDERSTAND SCRIPTURES, Lk 24:45 -- and faith to pray and receive, Mark 11:24, (Faith comes by hearing the message preached), Rom 10:17 -- God, You will that none would perish, but all to come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, that all would be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 2 Tim 2:1-5, even all in authority, and all our households, Acts 16:31. When we ask You hear and if You hear, we have, 1 Jn5:14-14, so SEEK and SAVE the LOST, Lk 19:10, in Jesus' Name, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts burdened for the spiritual vitality of church leaders, pastors, teachers, worship leaders, and preachers, who carry the weighty responsibility of shepherding God’s flock. Your request stirs within us a deep conviction to intercede for those called to lead, that they may walk in unwavering devotion to Christ, sound doctrine, and the power of the Holy Spirit. Let us lift this matter before the Lord with fervency and faith.

First, we recognize that the foundation of all ministry is a vibrant, personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Without this, even the most gifted leader will falter. We pray that every pastor, teacher, and worship leader would seek the Lord with wholehearted devotion, not merely as a duty but as a daily hunger for His presence. "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33). May their prayer lives be marked by intimacy with the Father, their study of Scripture by revelation from the Holy Spirit, and their preaching by the anointing that breaks yokes. We rebuke any spirit of dryness, burnout, or compromise that would dull their spiritual senses. Instead, let them be filled afresh with the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth (John 16:13).

We also lift up the congregations they serve, that families and individuals would be drawn to the house of God not by mere habit or obligation, but by the Father’s sovereign drawing (John 6:44). We pray against the spirit of apathy and distraction that keeps people from assembling together, as Scripture commands (Hebrews 10:25). May the Lord stir within them a hunger for His Word, a thirst for worship in spirit and truth (John 4:24), and a longing to partake of the Lord’s Supper with reverence and expectation (1 Corinthians 11:26). We declare that the Holy Spirit will convict hearts of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), leading to repentance and salvation. Let no one in these congregations remain in darkness, but may they come to the knowledge of the truth and be saved (1 Timothy 2:4).

We address the critical need for sound, biblical teaching in the church. In an age where truth is often diluted or distorted, we pray that leaders would boldly proclaim the full counsel of God, correcting error with gentleness and humility (2 Timothy 2:24-26). We rebuke any tendency toward watered-down messages that tickle ears rather than transform lives (2 Timothy 4:3-4). May the Word of God be preached with power, demonstration of the Spirit, and deep conviction (1 Corinthians 2:4-5). Let the church be a place where sinners are saved, wanderers are restored, and believers are equipped for every good work (Ephesians 4:12).

We also lift up the evangelistic mandate of the church. The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few (Matthew 9:37-38). We pray that leaders would model and mobilize their congregations for evangelism, through personal testimonies, intentional outreach, and a lifestyle that reflects Christ. May the lost in their communities be drawn by the love of God manifested in His people (John 13:35). We declare that the Holy Spirit will empower them to be witnesses in their neighborhoods, workplaces, and beyond (Acts 1:8). Let no one be left without a witness, and may the Lord add to the church daily those who are being saved (Acts 2:47).

Father, we ask that You would protect these leaders and their families from the schemes of the enemy. The devil seeks to devour those who stand for truth (1 Peter 5:8), but we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Strengthen them in times of weariness, encourage them in moments of discouragement, and grant them wisdom to navigate the challenges of ministry. May they finish their race with joy, having kept the faith (2 Timothy 4:7).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Good Shepherd who laid down His life for the sheep (John 10:11). It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is only by His blood that we are saved. We declare that the promises of God are "Yes" and "Amen" in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 1:20). May the Lord revive His church, save the lost, and glorify His name through the faithful ministry of His servants. Amen.

Let us continue to intercede with persistence, trusting that the Lord hears and answers the prayers of His people. "The prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective" (James 5:16). May we, too, be faithful in our own devotional lives, that we might be vessels of His grace and truth in this generation.

We sense a deep longing for God’s presence in your church and family. It’s clear you carry a shepherd’s heart for the spiritual life of those you love, both the leaders who guide worship and the family members and visitors you’re praying toward. The burden you’ve expressed here is not just a list; it’s a calling to stand in the gap, and that in itself is a powerful act of faith.

One thing that often helps sustain that kind of intercession is to anchor it in something tangible. Since you’re praying earnestly for your pastors’ and leaders’ devotional lives, consider quietly letting one of them know. A simple “I’m praying daily for your walk with the Lord and the Holy Spirit’s anointing on your teaching” can be a great gift. Many leaders labor under unseen weight, and knowing someone is faithfully interceding can strengthen their own devotion. It also builds a bond of shared dependence on Christ.

For your family, keep showing them patient love and simply inviting them into what God is doing in your life. Trust that the Father who draws people by his Spirit is already at work.

Father, thank you for this servant who cries out for revival, for hungry hearts, and for the lost to be saved. Draw pastors, worship leaders, and teachers into deep daily communion with you, that they would minister not out of dry routine but from an overflow of life in the Spirit. Remove every distraction that would steal their time with you, and grant them fresh anointing to lead your people. Turn the hearts of family members toward you. Bring them into the fellowship of believers where they will hear your voice, understand the Scriptures, and find life in Jesus. Protect them from the evil one, and give your church such a glimpse of your glory that many are added to the number of the saved. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The very heart of this petition beats with a holy longing for the Holy Spirit, and such a cry is in itself evidence of his working. For no man can truly seek the Comforter unless the Comforter first seeks him. You have rightly laid hold of the truth that without the Spirit all is dead. The divine pneuma must blow upon the dry bones of our churches and our families, else no life stirs. Prayer without the Spirit is empty noise; preaching without his unction is but sounding brass; and all our strivings to draw souls are vanity unless he draws them first.

Mark this well: the Spirit is a tender, loving person, easily grieved by our unbelief, our unholy walk, our neglect of his indwelling. How often we quench his fire by trusting in our own schemes instead of relying upon his power! The church is weak today because the Holy Spirit is not upon her members as we would desire him to be. And yet, what abundant proofs of his love! He is the waiting servant of the church, the lamp to enlighten, the staff to lean upon. Will we not then cry mightily for his return? Will we not purge our assemblies of every thing contrary to his Word and sound doctrine, that he may manifest his presence once more?

This request for family to be drawn, for sinners to be saved, for worship in spirit and truth, all this is Holy Spirit ground. He is the one who convicts of sin, who opens minds to understand the Scriptures, who takes of the things of Christ and shows them to us. Our business is not to preach philosophy or mere morality, but to declare Christ crucified, and then pray the Spirit to bless that Word to the heart. When the Spirit comes, the heaviest church floats out to sea, and the most inactive begins to move. Oh, what can we not do if we have the Holy Spirit! And what can we do if we have him not? Our utter dependence is absolute.

Stand, then, upon this one rubric: praying in the Holy Spirit. The form matters nothing; the power matters everything. If you would see these requests granted, cease from man and look to the Spirit alone. Plead with the Father to send the anointing from the Anointed One. Let every preacher, teacher, and worshiper confess before they act that they rely upon the Holy Spirit. And above all, unite in earnest, persevering prayer, for he has pledged to be inquired of by the house of Israel to do this for them. Grieve him not by unbelief; trust his finished work. He shall cause the dry tree to flourish, and his name shall be glorified.

The prayer you lift up is great and full of longing, but let us not suppose that the Spirit breathes upon a life still entangled in worldly cares. The grace of the Spirit is drawn down not by the abundance of words, but by a life that scorns wealth and despises human glory. For it is the life, radiant on every side, that attracts the power from on high. You cry out for revelation: what clearer teaching do you seek than that which the Only-Begotten has declared? He has shown that God is Spirit, and those who worship must worship in spirit and truth. If you would have your family drawn to the assembly, let them see in you a living icon of this worship, a soul freed from the slavery of passions. How can you expect others to hunger for the Word if your own heart is still filled with the love of earthly things? The natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit, but you, worship the Crucified with joyful voice and glad countenance, and thank the Lord who grants such benefits as no one can so much as learn without revelation from above.

Do not then think that a mere prayer for the salvation of the lost is sufficient unless your own life becomes a continual house call, a living witness. The Spirit is not sent to those who cling to the Law's poverty; He abides with the spirit of the faithful, sealing them by grace. Pray, yes, but let your prayer be with your spirit, withdrawn from carnal things, that you may recall others from error. Sadness is interwoven with joy in this pilgrimage: there will be dejection from scoffers, but also consolation from the Spirit. Stand firm. Christ counts our salvation His own glory, so He wills that none should perish. Therefore seek that glory, pursue it, and know that nothing is from ourselves, but all from God. He who prepared the disciples to receive the Spirit by His departure now grants that same Spirit to those who ask with clean hands and a pure heart. Let your entire household behold your freedom from worldly cares, and they will be drawn not only to the church building but to the Lord of the Church, whose revelation alone grants faith and repentance.
