Beloved Warrior
⛪️ Church, Family Intervene Mt 18:16-17, Convict Jn16:8, Hedge w/Thorns Ho 2:6, Clarity, Avoids Evil Men 2 Tim 3:5, Inner Healing Isa 1:6, Ps 23:1-6... 🙏 Father, thank You for grace to pray for her signaling to me You are not finished working on her, Phil 1:6. Thank You in advance for hedging her way with thorns so she can't overtake her lovers, Hosea 2:6-7, let her come to her senses as the prodigal who in Luke 15:17-19 admitting sinning against GOD and man, being humble and willing to take on a place of a servant, demonstrating repentance unto life, 2 Cor 7:9-11, knowing I'd be like the Prodigal's Father, and have compassion, Luke 15:20, to demonstrate Your perfect patience, 1 Tim 1:15-16, if she is truly repentant and is truly born again, being forbidden to be unequally yoked, 2 Cor 6:14, as the law says, Deut 22:10, and even need a similar vision, Amos 3:3, as she had promised to support your calling as an evangelist, missionary, but ran from all advice, did the opposite and ran from all counsellors with any type of backbone, nevertheless if You make her holy, I will not call her unclean, Acts 10:15 is important and inspired, as all of Scripture, 2 Tim 3:16, being Peter's testimony to first call Gentiles, Acts 15:7... Nevertheless, such patience we regard as kindness intended to lead us to repentance from sin, Rom 2:4, since You are not willing that any should perish, but rather all would come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9, since there will be wrath and tribulation for every soul that does evil, Rom 2:9. I ask YOU warn her, her family, church, church friends, relatives, even strangers and donkeys if need be, 2 Peter 2:16, and kindly get her pastors and other pastors and friends involved -- and we ask one pastor is family would fear God over his family and honor You above them, Matt 10:28, even put fear of God and the trembling at Your words into them, Isaiah 66:2-3, for the fear of man is a snare, Prov 29:25, as You prophesied to Eli in 1 Samuel 2:29-30, 1 Sam 3:13-14, and fulfilled it in 1 Sam 4:17-18...

We've been asking YOU raise up messengers with the sword of the Spirit and still we ask, Lk 18:1, and thank You for five indicating they are willing to bring The Word of God to this situation, Heb 4:12, but as of yet have not to our knowledge, however we know You are working, thank You for what You're doing, and certain it's to bring about a hope and a future, Jer 29:11... Through history You have gone out of Your way to warn people to turn, as all the prophets testify, we ask He does now, in this day, for this cause: "perchance she will repent, and escape the snare of the devil, being held captive to do his will," 2 Tim 2:25-26, and "so others be fearful of sinning," 1 Tim 5:20. Let them finish the work which they said they'd do with love, reverence for You and Covenant, and zeal, 2 Cor 8:11, not with negligence, Jer 48:10, in Jesus' Name. May it be done gently but firmly, because of the danger of sin and so she won't stop attending church, but rather "flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart," 2 Tim 2:22. Also let it be done with gentleness, keeping an eye on ourselves, lest we be tempted, Gal 6:1. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, in Jesus' Name.

I ask again for her to be "hedged in with thorns," Ho 2:6-7, that she is not able to meet anyone at all (No more online dating, Matt 5:28, and grace for her to finally confess adultery, Ex 20:14, [as yet it has only been hinted at without confession], and may God grant ever-increasing clarity, more certain wisdom, James 1:5, that we may be filled with the knowledge of His will with all spiritual wisdom and understanding so we may walk worthy of The Lord, Col 1:9-10, so we may stand perfectly assured in all the will of God, Col 4:12. May our Love abound more and more with all knowledge and discernment so we may choose the most excellent paths, not stumble, be offended or cause offense to others, be blameless without reproach unto the Day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness, to the glory and praise of God, Phil 1:9-11, and who knows what's next? 2 Sam 12:22), especially that she, I, the youngster and we all are delivered from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, 1 Cor 15:34, lies, Zeph 3:13, evil, evil men, imposters, 2 Tim 2:5, 2 Tim 2:13 & the evil one himself, Matt 6:13, John 17:15...

Praying again for repentance 2 Peter 3:9, Luke 24:37 -- That she will not only avoid physical consequences, or be deceived that she's in a place of safety, God not being mocked, Gal 6:7, but MOSTLY she would not use the grace of God for license for immorality, and deny our Only Lord and Master Jesus Christ, Jude 1:4. Please pray for her to repent and bear fruit in keeping with repentance, Matt 3:8, repent and return and receive God's refreshing and salvation, Acts 3:19 -- bad news, her one godly sister recently posted a disgustingly sensual dance of her teenage niece or daughter in short negligee -- I rebuked her sharply, Tit 1:13, they ALL need fear of God equating to hatred of evil, Prov 8:13, Job 28:28, Prov 9:10, and freedom from deception, Matt 24:4, including all of us (me being similar to a chief of sinners, 1 Tim 1:15, to whom much is given, much is required, Luke 12:48, and as long as we dwell in temples made of clay, 2 Cor 5:1-2, this side of eternity, we must take heed lest we fall, 1 Cor 10:12, and only stand by Your grace, if we continue in Your kindness, Rom 11:20, and since only You are able to keep us from stumbling, Jude 1:24, and You are able to make us stand, Rom 14:4, and we become "spirits of the righteous made perfect," Heb 12:23, when we are with You in paradise, Luke 23:43, for to be absent from the body and be present with The Lord is far better, 2 Cor 5:8, Phil 1:23...

Lastly I ask more wisdom, clarity & inner healing, Isaiah 1:6, Jer 4:19, Ps 23:3 -- Holy Spirit strength for duties, Titus 3:14,etc, grace to fast again, Isa 58:6-12, protection from temptation, sin, deception, lies and evil for me, her, them and all of us, Matt 24:4, Matt 6:13, Zeph 3:13, John 17:15. Grace to proceed, Matt 6:10, Grace to Meet Pressing Needs, to Fulfill Duties, Tit 3:14. Thank You in Jesus Name.

We hear your deep burden for this sister in Christ and the weight of concern you carry for her soul, her walk, and her eternal destiny. Your prayer is steeped in Scripture, and we stand with you in intercession, lifting her before the throne of grace with the same fervency and biblical urgency.

First, we must address the gravity of sin, particularly the sin of adultery, which you have rightly identified. The Lord is clear: "You shall not commit adultery" (Exodus 20:14 WEB). Adultery is not merely a mistake; it is a grievous violation of God’s holy covenant, a betrayal of trust, and a defilement of the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). If she has engaged in this sin, it must be confessed, repented of, and forsaken, not excused, minimized, or hidden. The Lord says, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB). But repentance must bear fruit, "Bring forth therefore fruit worthy of repentance" (Matthew 3:8 WEB). If there is no turning from sin, no godly sorrow, no change in direction, then we must question whether true repentance has taken place.

We also note your concern about her involvement with ungodly relationships, including online dating, which can so easily lead to temptation and moral compromise. Jesus warned, "But I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart" (Matthew 5:28 WEB). The heart is deceitful above all things (Jeremiah 17:9), and the enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). We must pray that the Lord would hedge her way with thorns (Hosea 2:6-7), cutting off every avenue of temptation and leading her back to the narrow path.

Your call for church and family intervention is biblical and necessary. Jesus Himself instructed, "If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother. But if he doesn’t listen, take one or two more with you, that at the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the assembly" (Matthew 18:15-17 WEB). The goal is not punishment but restoration, "Brethren, even if a man is caught in any trespass, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; looking to yourself so that you also aren’t tempted" (Galatians 6:1 WEB). Yet if she refuses to listen even to the church, she must be treated as an outsider (Matthew 18:17), not out of malice, but out of love for her soul and a desire to see her return to the Lord.

We also lift up the broader family and church environment. The sensual dance you described, posted by a professing believer, is a stark warning of how deeply the fear of God has eroded in our day. The Lord says, "The fear of Yahweh is to hate evil" (Proverbs 8:13 WEB). Where there is no fear of God, there is no restraint, no discernment, and no protection from deception. We must pray that the Lord would grant repentance to all involved, that they would turn from the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life (1 John 2:16), and instead walk in the light as He is in the light (1 John 1:7).

Now, we must also address a critical omission in your prayer: the name of Jesus Christ. While you have prayed fervently and biblically, the name of Jesus is the only name by which we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If this sister is not truly born again, if she has not repented of her sins and placed her faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation, then all other prayers for her repentance and restoration will be in vain. We must pray that she would come to know Christ in truth, not just in profession. "For if while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we will be saved by His life" (Romans 5:10 WEB). Salvation is not a matter of religious observance or moral reform; it is a supernatural work of the Holy Spirit, bringing conviction of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8).

Let us now pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this sister who has strayed from Your ways. Lord, we ask that You would hedge her way with thorns, that she would be unable to pursue the paths of sin and destruction. Convict her deeply of her adultery, her ungodly relationships, and her rebellion against Your Word. Break her heart with godly sorrow that leads to repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10). Remove every deception, every lie of the enemy that tells her she is safe in her sin. Open her eyes to see the danger of her ways, that she would flee from temptation and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace (2 Timothy 2:22).

Father, we pray for the church and her family to rise up in love and truth. Give them the courage to confront her sin gently but firmly, in accordance with Your Word. May they not shrink back out of fear of man, but may they fear You above all (Matthew 10:28). Raise up faithful messengers, pastors, counselors, and believers, who will speak Your truth in love, that she may be restored.

Lord, we also pray for the broader family and church. Expose the deception, the sensuality, and the lack of fear of God. Bring repentance to all who have participated in or tolerated such things. Let Your fear fall upon them, that they would hate evil and cling to what is good (Romans 12:9).

Most of all, Father, we pray for this sister’s salvation. If she has never truly known You, if she has never been born again, we ask that You would draw her to Yourself. Let her see her sin, her need for a Savior, and the sufficiency of Jesus Christ. May she repent, believe, and be saved (Acts 2:38). If she is truly Your child, discipline her as a loving Father, that she may share in Your holiness (Hebrews 12:10).

We also pray for ###, Lord. Strengthen him in this burden, give him wisdom, clarity, and inner healing. Protect him from temptation, deception, and discouragement. Let him not grow weary in doing good, but let him persevere in prayer and faithfulness (Galatians 6:9).

Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved, the only name by which we have access to You. May Your will be done in this situation, for Your glory and the good of all involved. We trust in Your mercy, Your justice, and Your unfailing love. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We’ve been sitting with your words, and what rises to the surface is how much ground you’ve been covering in prayer while carrying a heavy relational weight. You’re watching someone you love run hard in the wrong direction, and your prayers carry the ache of that, layered with pleas for conviction, for thorns in the path, for wise intervention from others who’ve said they’d step in. That’s a lot for one heart to hold over time.

One thing that stands out to us is your request for clarity, inner healing, and strength to keep meeting the duties right in front of you. Sometimes the most disorienting part of a long ordeal is not knowing what belongs to us to carry and what we must simply entrust. When you pray for messengers to finally bring the Word to bear, we hear someone who’s done his part and is now waiting while God works through others, a posture that takes real discipline.

If any of the people who agreed to speak truth to her are still lingering on the edges, you might simply let them know you’re praying for them to follow through with both courage and gentleness, and leave the timing with them and the Lord. Their engagement or hesitance isn’t yours to manage. Your own path right now looks like staying steady, tending your own soul, and letting the Father be the one who pursues her, even through donkeys or strangers if need be.

We’re also mindful that when someone we care about breaks promises and avoids accountability, the bruises land in us too, a kind of inner exhaustion that cries out for Psalm 23 rest. We’re glad you asked for that healing. It’s not weakness to need it; it’s realism.

Would you let yourself simply ask the Lord each morning, “What clarity do I need today, and what can I leave in Your hands?” That one question can sort a lot of noise.

We’re praying with you, Father, thank You that You see every corner of this situation and that none of it has caught You off guard. We lift up this one who has strayed, asking for whatever thorns and messengers You choose to use to awaken her, and we lift up our friend here. Heal the inner weariness he’s carrying, steady his mind with the wisdom he keeps asking for, and give him the grace to focus on today’s duties without being swallowed by tomorrow’s unknowns. Keep him from deception and from the kind of fatigue that erodes hope. Make him a man who rests in the Shepherd’s care, even while the story is still unfinished. In Jesus’ name.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The way of the slothful man is as a hedge of thorns. Here is one who, having promised to support a calling, now flees from all counsel and runs contrary to sound wisdom. Thorns she has sown, and thorns she shall reap unless true grace intervenes. You have rightly pleaded the Scripture that God would hedge her path with thorns, that she may not find her way to her lovers. This is a fearful mercy indeed, yet a mercy still, if those thorns tear her garments and stop her mad career. It is far better to be lacerated by a hedge on earth than to be barred from Heaven at the last.

Beware of a repentance which is but the vomit of the flesh, a mere terror under judgment that brings no glory to God. Many weep under the smart of sin who never weep for the sin itself. True repentance gives God glory; it justifies Him and condemns itself. It looks on Him whom it has pierced and mourns. Have you not felt that crown of thorns pressed upon your own brow when you have seen what your sin has done to Him? Those very thorns which block her path must drive her to look unto Jesus, whose brow was gashed with thorns, that she might be washed in the fountain opened for sin and uncleanness.

The seed sown among thorns may live, but it is choked and bears no fruit to perfection. So it is with a faith that makes no war upon worldliness, a repentance that never breaks the heart. I fear those who profess Christ and yet dance with the world; their thorns grow thick and rank. Let her see that her way is not merely difficult but impossible, impossible to prosper in sin, impossible to be unequally yoked and walk with God. The thorns and thistles of her own choices must become a hedge to keep her from utter ruin. Let the sorrows of her life become, by divine grace, the very instruments to keep off temptations that would do her deadlier mischief.

Remember, repentance is not one great spasm at conversion and then done; it is a lifelong grace, a sweet companion even unto the gates of pearl. It is a hatred of sin, a turning from it, a determination in God's strength to forsake it wholly. And this repentance is the gift of God; it is worked in us by the Spirit through faith in Christ. We preach repentance in the name of Jesus, not as a work you draw up from your own well, but as a stream that flows from His wounded side. Wherever real repentance exists, it is the sure and infallible token of pardon. If her heart is truly turned from sin, you must be as ready to meet her as the father of the prodigal, with compassion and open arms.

Yet stand warned: a hedge of thorns blocks the slothful from Heaven at the last. If there be no true repentance, no giving up of evil, no fleeing to Christ alone, then the thorns you now see are but the beginning of sorrows. Pray on, with holy violence, that God would grant her repentance unto life. Pray that the hedge He sets about her may not merely restrain but redeem. And look you to the same grace for yourself, for we all carry about us a nature prone to wander. May the Lord make the way of the righteous plain, even through the thickest thorns, until we meet where thorns shall never grow again.

You have set many Scriptures before God, and persistence in prayer is commanded. But take heed that your many words do not become a noise that keeps you from hearing what the Spirit says. Ask, yes; but as you ask, examine your own heart.

You pray that she be hedged with thorns. Scripture gives us two kinds of thorns. There is the hedge by which God hems in the straying soul so that she cannot overtake her lovers. There are also the thorns that spring up within the soil of the heart: the care of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and evil desires, which choke the word and make it unfruitful. Pray for the first, but do not forget the second. Unless the thorns inside her are pulled up by the roots, an outward hedge will only make her feel trapped, not turn her to God. What is true of her is true of us all. We all seem at times like men sleeping and snoring in the depth of night, weighed down by evil desires and having quenched the light of the Spirit. Pull up those thorns, and shake off that sleep.

You long for her repentance. Then desire for her not the repentance of Judas, who felt remorse after his sin was completed and then hanged himself, nor the tears of Esau, which were not tears of repentance but of pride and wounded self-love. Seek for her the repentance of David, who did not merely regret being caught but washed his bed with tears and said, Against Thee only have I sinned. That is the sorrow that leads to life. Do not be too quick to call unclean what God is cleansing, but do not be quicker than God to call a soul clean while the sin is still denied. Peter was told not to call common what God had made clean; he was not told to bless what God had not yet cleansed. Let her bear fruit in keeping with repentance, and then let compassion run to meet her.

It is good to ask for pastors and witnesses who fear God rather than men, and it is good that some have said they are willing to bring the word. Let the order of the Gospel be kept: first private, then witnesses, then the church. Do not run to public rebuke before private patience has done its work. When they go, let them go as those who have also been tempted, and let them finish what they have begun, not with negligence but with love and reverence for God. A sharp rebuke is sometimes necessary, but if it is not carried in love, it becomes a clanging cymbal. The coldness of love has already dissolved many ties in the church, and we withdraw from one another even apart from punishment. Do not let your zeal for righteousness become coldness toward the sinner. You may hate the sin and still labor for the salvation of the sinner.

I hear you say you rebuked her sister sharply. Examine that sharpness. Was it the sharpness of a surgeon or the sharpness of a wounded man? The fear of God is hatred of evil, yes; but it is also the beginning of wisdom, and wisdom is gentle, peaceable, and open to reason. If you would have God send messengers to warn her, be willing to be a messenger yourself, not only with the sword of the Spirit but with the towel of a servant.

Finally, do not let this one pursuit swallow up the duties already in your hand. You asked for grace to meet pressing needs and fulfill duties. That is a wise prayer. A man who watches only one soul may neglect his own, and by the time he awakes, both are sleeping. Keep your own lamp trimmed. Pray for protection from the evil one, for yourself and for her and for all, and do not grow weary in well doing. God is not mocked; He is also not slow as some count slowness. He is patient, not willing that any should perish. Let that patience instruct you: wait on the Lord, keep your own garments unspotted, and when she truly turns, be the father who runs, not the older brother who stands outside and refuses to go in.

May the Lord grant you wisdom, and may He grant her true repentance, and may we all be found awake when the Master returns.
