Beloved Warrior
⛪️ Church, Family Intervene Mt 18:16-17, Convict of sin and judgement to come, Jn16:8, Hedge with Thorns so cannot pursue lovers, Ho 2:6, Clarity, Avoids Evil Men 2 Tim 3:5, Inner Healing Isa 1:6, Ps 23:1-6... 🙏 Father, thank You for grace to pray for her signaling to me You are not finished working on her, Phil 1:6. Thank You in advance for hedging her way with thorns so she can't overtake her lovers, Hosea 2:6-7, let her come to her senses as the prodigal who in Luke 15:17-19 admitting sinning against GOD and man, being humble and willing to take on a place of a servant, demonstrating repentance unto life, 2 Cor 7:9-11, knowing I'd be like the Prodigal's Father, and have compassion, Luke 15:20, to demonstrate Your perfect patience, 1 Tim 1:15-16, if she is truly repentant and is truly born again, being forbidden to be unequally yoked, 2 Cor 6:14, as the law says, Deut 22:10, and even need a similar vision, Amos 3:3, as she had promised to support your calling as an evangelist, missionary, but ran from all advice, did the opposite and ran from all counsellors with any type of backbone, nevertheless if You make her holy, I will not call her unclean, Acts 10:15 is important and inspired, as all of Scripture, 2 Tim 3:16, being Peter's testimony to first call Gentiles, Acts 15:7... Nevertheless, such patience we regard as kindness intended to lead us to repentance from sin, Rom 2:4, since You are not willing that any should perish, but rather all would come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9, since there will be wrath and tribulation for every soul that does evil, Rom 2:9. I ask YOU warn her, her family, church, church friends, relatives, even strangers and donkeys if need be, 2 Peter 2:16, and kindly get her pastors and other pastors and friends involved -- and we ask one pastor is family would fear God over his family and honor You above them, Matt 10:28, even put fear of God and the trembling at Your words into them, Isaiah 66:2-3, for the fear of man is a snare, Prov 29:25, as You prophesied to Eli in 1 Samuel 2:29-30, 1 Sam 3:13-14, and fulfilled it in 1 Sam 4:17-18...

We've been asking YOU raise up messengers with the sword of the Spirit and still we ask, Lk 18:1, and thank You for five indicating they are willing to bring The Word of God to this situation, Heb 4:12, but as of yet have not to our knowledge, however we know You are working, thank You for what You're doing, and certain it's to bring about a hope and a future, Jer 29:11... Through history You have gone out of Your way to warn people to turn, as all the prophets testify, we ask He does now, in this day, for this cause: "perchance she will repent, and escape the snare of the devil, being held captive to do his will," 2 Tim 2:25-26, and "so others be fearful of sinning," 1 Tim 5:20. Let them finish the work which they said they'd do with love, reverence for You and Covenant, and zeal, 2 Cor 8:11, not with negligence, Jer 48:10, in Jesus' Name. May it be done gently but firmly, because of the danger of sin and so she won't stop attending church, but rather "flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart," 2 Tim 2:22. Also let it be done with gentleness, keeping an eye on ourselves, lest we be tempted, Gal 6:1. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, in Jesus' Name.

I ask again for her to be "hedged in with thorns," Ho 2:6-7, that she is not able to meet anyone at all (No more online dating, Matt 5:28, and grace for her to finally confess adultery, Ex 20:14, [as yet it has only been hinted at without confession], and may God grant ever-increasing clarity, more certain wisdom, James 1:5, that we may be filled with the knowledge of His will with all spiritual wisdom and understanding so we may walk worthy of The Lord, Col 1:9-10, so we may stand perfectly assured in all the will of God, Col 4:12. May our Love abound more and more with all knowledge and discernment so we may choose the most excellent paths, not stumble, be offended or cause offense to others, be blameless without reproach unto the Day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness, to the glory and praise of God, Phil 1:9-11, and who knows what's next? 2 Sam 12:22), especially that she, I, the youngster and we all are delivered from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, 1 Cor 15:34, lies, Zeph 3:13, evil, evil men, imposters, 2 Tim 2:5, 2 Tim 2:13 & the evil one himself, Matt 6:13, John 17:15...

Praying again for repentance 2 Peter 3:9, Luke 24:37 -- That she will not only avoid physical consequences, or be deceived that she's in a place of safety, God not being mocked, Gal 6:7, but MOSTLY she would not use the grace of God for license for immorality, and deny our Only Lord and Master Jesus Christ, Jude 1:4. Please pray for her to repent and bear fruit in keeping with repentance, Matt 3:8, repent and return and receive God's refreshing and salvation, Acts 3:19 -- bad news, her one godly sister recently posted a disgustingly sensual dance of her teenage niece or daughter in short negligee -- I rebuked her sharply, Tit 1:13, they ALL need fear of God equating to hatred of evil, Prov 8:13, Job 28:28, Prov 9:10, and freedom from deception, Matt 24:4, including all of us (me being similar to a chief of sinners, 1 Tim 1:15, to whom much is given, much is required, Luke 12:48, and as long as we dwell in temples made of clay, 2 Cor 5:1-2, this side of eternity, we must take heed lest we fall, 1 Cor 10:12, and only stand by Your grace, if we continue in Your kindness, Rom 11:20, and since only You are able to keep us from stumbling, Jude 1:24, and You are able to make us stand, Rom 14:4, and we become "spirits of the righteous made perfect," Heb 12:23, when we are with You in paradise, Luke 23:43, for to be absent from the body and be present with The Lord is far better, 2 Cor 5:8, Phil 1:23...

Lastly I ask more wisdom, clarity & inner healing, Isaiah 1:6, Jer 4:19, Ps 23:3 -- Holy Spirit strength for duties, Titus 3:14, etc, grace to fast again, Isa 58:6-12, protection from temptation, sin, deception, lies and evil for me, her, them and all of us, Matt 24:4, Matt 6:13, Zeph 3:13, John 17:15. Grace to proceed, Matt 6:10, Grace to Meet Pressing Needs, to Fulfill Duties, Tit 3:14. Thank You in Jesus Name.

We stand with you in deep concern and fervent prayer for this precious soul who appears to be wandering far from the path of righteousness. The Scriptures you’ve cited reveal a heart that knows the Lord’s ways and is grieving over the spiritual danger she is in. We join you in crying out to God for her repentance, restoration, and protection from the snares of the enemy.

First, we must address the gravity of sin, particularly the sin of adultery, which you’ve hinted at but has not been fully confessed. The Lord is clear: "You shall not commit adultery" (Exodus 20:14). This is not merely a suggestion but a commandment from a holy God who designed marriage as a sacred covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). Any sexual relationship outside of this covenant is fornication or adultery, and it defiles the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). If she is indeed entangled in such sin, it must be brought into the light, confessed, and repented of with godly sorrow (2 Corinthians 7:10). The Lord is faithful to forgive and cleanse when we confess our sins (1 John 1:9), but unconfessed sin hardens the heart and invites spiritual deception (Hebrews 3:13).

We also rebuke the spirit of rebellion that has caused her to reject godly counsel and run from those who love her enough to speak truth. Proverbs 1:30-33 warns that those who despise wisdom and instruction will eat the fruit of their ways. Yet, even in this, we do not lose hope, for the Lord is longsuffering and desires that none should perish (2 Peter 3:9). We pray that the Holy Spirit will convict her of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), breaking through the hardness of her heart with the truth of God’s Word.

The hedge of thorns you’ve prayed for is a biblical principle (Hosea 2:6-7), and we join you in asking the Lord to erect it around her, blocking every path that leads to further sin, shutting down ungodly relationships, and making her way so difficult that she is forced to turn back to Him. May she, like the prodigal son, come to her senses and say, "I will arise and go to my Father" (Luke 15:18). We pray that her family, church, and spiritual leaders will rise up with courage, fearing God more than man (Matthew 10:28), and intervene with love, truth, and firmness, following the steps of church discipline outlined in Matthew 18:15-17.

We also lift up the concerning matter of the sensual dance posted by her godly sister. This is a grievous stumbling block, for it normalizes immodesty and sensuality in the name of "culture" or "freedom." The Scripture is clear: "Do not let your adornment be merely outward... but let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God" (1 Peter 3:3-4). We rebuke this spirit of worldliness and pray that the fear of the Lord would grip that household, leading them to hate evil and cling to what is good (Proverbs 8:13). May they repent and remove this stumbling block, lest they lead others, especially the young, into sin.

For you, dear brother or sister in Christ, we pray for wisdom, discernment, and inner healing. The burden you carry is heavy, but the Lord sees your labor of love and will sustain you. We ask the Holy Spirit to strengthen you for your duties (Titus 3:14), protect you from temptation (Matthew 6:13), and fill you with the peace of Christ as you wait on Him. You are not responsible for her choices, but you are faithful to intercede, and that is a sacrifice pleasing to the Lord (Revelation 5:8).

We declare over her life the promise of Philippians 1:6: "Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ." The Lord is not finished with her. May she be delivered from deception, restored to fellowship with God and His people, and walk in the fear of the Lord all her days.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You for Your mercy and longsuffering. We ask that You would hedge in ### with thorns, block every ungodly path, and bring her to repentance. Convict her of sin, righteousness, and judgment. Raise up godly messengers to speak truth into her life with boldness and love. Give her family and church leaders the courage to intervene as You command. Heal her heart, restore her soul, and lead her in the paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake (Psalm 23:3).

For those who have enabled or excused her sin, we pray for repentance and a renewed fear of You. Expose every lie, break every chain, and let Your light shine in the darkness. Protect the young from being led astray by worldly influences, and grant them purity of heart and mind.

Lord, we also pray for ###, that You would grant wisdom, clarity, and strength. Sustain them in this trial, fill them with Your peace, and use them as a vessel of Your love and truth. May they continue to walk worthy of You, bearing fruit in every good work (Colossians 1:10).

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We hear the ache in your words, the weight of watching someone you love run toward what will harm her, and the long, exhausting season of prayer when the answers seem hidden. That kind of waiting wears on the soul, and we're joining you in carrying this burden.

What stands out to us is how thoroughly you're entrusting her to God's hands, even while pursuing every avenue of help. Sometimes the most faith-filled posture is simply staying steady when nothing seems to change, trusting that God is at work in ways we cannot see. He does not waste time, and He does not overlook a single prayer offered in sincerity.

Inner healing is a tender, slow work, for her, and perhaps for you as well. When painful memories, rebellion, and family patterns all tangle together, unraveling them usually takes longer than we hope. That's not a failure of prayer; it's the nature of deep restoration. We're glad you've not given up.

A practical step: If you haven't already, you might connect with the five people who indicated willingness to bring the Word directly to this situation and share with them specifically what you've observed and what you're asking them to do. Clarity and timeliness can make a real difference.

Father, we lift this woman to You, confused, pursued by grace, needing conviction that leads not to despair but to life. Hedge her way when she would walk into harm. Bring to her mind what she once knew and believed. Heal the wounds that drive her choices, and surround her with voices that speak truth in love. Strengthen this praying brother. Refresh his heart. Grant wisdom to those preparing to intervene, and give them courage with gentleness. Above all, we ask for genuine repentance and the fruit of a transformed life, to Your glory. In Jesus' name.

The prayer you have sent up to the throne of God is full of Scripture, and that is right; for the Word of God is the sword of the Spirit, and to plead His own promises is to lay hold upon the horns of the altar. But mark you, when you ask a hedge of thorns to be set about her path, you ask a sharp mercy indeed, yet it is a mercy, for the wounds of a friend are faithful, and the Lord’s hedge, though it tear the flesh, is set there to keep the soul from plunging into the abyss. I have long observed that “the way of the slothful man is as a hedge of thorns,” and if she be slothful in the things of God, her way will indeed bristle with briers till she turns to the plain path of the righteous. Pray on, then, and do not think it strange if the thorns grow thickest when God is nearest.

Consider the thorns your blessed Master wore: they were plaited by sinners, yet He wore them for sinners. That crown teaches us that thorns are not always a sign of wrath, often they are the very instruments by which Love restrains and wooes. You have asked a hedge of thorns from Hosea’s prophecy, and it is a request after God’s own heart. I have seen the lily flourishing among thorns, its velvety softness in stark contrast to the withered briers about it. So shall the Lord’s beloved be, though surrounded by troubles and persecutions, yea, even by the consequences of her own folly. But take heed: the thorns that are to hem her in may also lacerate your own hands as you labour to extricate her. Love must not flinch at a few scratches if the soul be rescued.

True repentance, ah, that is the great thing! You have asked for it, but let us be clear what we seek. A repentance born merely of dread of judgment is no better than the vomit of a dog; it is a repentance that needs to be repented of. The repentance that saves is a hatred of sin because it is sin against a holy God, a turning from it out of love for the Christ who pardoned it. I charge you, do not rest content with a forced, jailhouse repentance that only moans over consequences. Pray rather for that godly sorrow which worketh “repentance unto life” not to be repented of, a repentance that weeps not so much because of the hedge of thorns as because she has wounded her Lord. That repentance will bring forth fruit: a changed life, a humble walking, a willing submission.

The prodigal’s father is your pattern, and it is a glorious one. The eyes of mercy are quicker than the eyes of repentance. While she is yet a great way off, the Father sees and runs. O, do not despair! You have confessed yourself a chief of sinners, and therefore you know the torrents of that Father’s affection. Your own heart, melted by grace, must be soft toward her if she truly return. But mark this: the prodigal came with confession, with a broken and contrite spirit. The kisses of the father did not precede the return; they fell on a neck already bent in contrition. Wait for that, and do not call evil good while you wait. The law of an unequal yoke is not a trifle; it is the hedge God plants to guard His vineyard. If she be truly born again, she will not desire to be yoked with an unbeliever, for what fellowship hath light with darkness?

I am glad you have sought the intervention of the church. The slothful and the worldly in the congregation may shrink back, but those who fear God more than man must speak the truth in love. Let them be firm, for the prophet’s sword must not be dulled with negligence; yet let them go with a gentle hand, remembering that they themselves are but men, and liable to temptation. The best way to pluck a brand from the burning is with the tongs of divine truth, seizing it near the flame, but careful not to quench the smoking flax.

In the meantime, see to it that your own way be not a hedge of thorns through spiritual sloth. Press on in duty. Meet pressing needs. Fulfill your Titus 3 obligations, and fast and pray as you are able. The husbandman who would burn the thorns must first uproot them; so root out the thorns of care and pleasure in your own heart, lest they choke the seed. Your trials, and this is a fiery one, are thorns and thistles permitted by the curse, yet to the righteous they become a hedge to keep off the goats of worldly pleasure. Make good use of the thorns. Let them drive you to Christ, who wore them for you, and who now sits at the right hand of God, able to keep you from stumbling.

Finally, rest in God’s willingness to save. “He is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” You have pleaded this, and it stands surer than the mountains. The very fact that you are stirred to pray so earnestly is a token that the Spirit of God is moving, and that He who began a good work will perform it. The hedge of thorns may seem cruel, but Paradise itself was guarded by such a hedge, and our Champion leaped upon it, bearing the blood-red banner of His cross into the new Eden. Trust Him, then. Continue to watch, but with patience. The answer may tarry, but the vision will not lie. May we meet where no thorns tear, and where repentance shall have done its perfect work, and we shall see the King in His beauty, with no more sin to grieve us.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your long prayer shows a soul in earnest, but earnestness must be kept under the rein of humility and love. You have laid many Scriptures before the Lord, and it is right to ask Him to hedge her way with thorns if that will turn her back. Yet remember why God hedges the way in Hosea: not to destroy the woman, but to make her road so bitter that she returns to her husband. Pray for that end, not for pain itself. If your heart begins to desire her punishment more than her repentance, you have left love, and without love your prayers become noise.

You are right to call adultery sin. The Lord Himself said that a lustful look is adultery in the heart, and the greatness of the sin is itself sufficient warning. No faithful Christian may bless an unequally yoked union or call unclean conduct clean. If the Lord makes her holy by true repentance, receive her as the prodigal; but do not call sin clean before that repentance. The same Lord who taught Peter not to call unclean what God has cleansed also said, Go and sin no more.

But take care that zeal does not become pride. I have said it often: pride defiles worse than fornication, because lust can plead desire, but pride has no excuse. When you rebuked the sister sharply, was it with grief and fear for yourself, as Galatians commands? Or was there a hidden satisfaction in being the one who saw the sin? You yourself quote that you are chief of sinners. Let that be true, not a form of words. The man who knows his own weakness will rebuke gently, because he knows he too may fall.

The church should intervene, and Matthew 18 is not too hard. But the steps matter. Have you spoken privately first? Are the witnesses people of prayer, not gossip? The goal of discipline is not to expel her in disgust but to win her back. Paul says to put away the wicked person, yes, but only after patient correction has failed, and even then with sorrow, not triumph. We cut off a rotten limb to save the body, not to enjoy the amputation. If she remains impenitent, separation may be necessary to protect others and to show the seriousness of sin. But it must be done as a severe mercy.

You ask that God warn her through family, church, strangers, even donkeys if need be. God can use strange means; He once used a donkey to stop a prophet's madness. But do not try to become the donkey yourself. You are not the Holy Spirit. Pray that God grants her the clarity to see her sin, but do not undertake to control every step. The hedge of thorns is God's work. Yours is prayer, faithful witness, and a life that does not make the gospel look ugly.

The deepest need is not merely that she stop online dating or confess adultery in words. The deepest need is a soul wounded by sin and asleep in worldly desires, like a woman in a dark room full of thorns. I have warned that evil desires and worldly thoughts cause a deadly sleep, and the thorns must be pulled up by the roots. Only the grace of Christ can do that. Pray for her inner healing, yes, but know that healing comes through repentance, not around it. The physician does not heal a wound while the patient keeps tearing it open.

The devil has another snare: he can make sin appear devout. A woman may leave a lawful husband under the pretense of holiness and drive him into sin; that is not devotion but delusion. If she thinks she is spiritual while pursuing forbidden love, that delusion must be broken by the Word. But the Word must be spoken gently and firmly, by people who fear God more than man, as you have prayed.

Continue to fast and pray and do your duties. The Lord is able to deliver from every evil work, as He delivered Paul from the lion's mouth. But He often delivers by making us faithful in ordinary obedience, not by giving us visible control over another's soul. Watch yourself. The one who thinks he stands must take heed lest he fall.

If she returns in true repentance, let there be no coldness. The prodigal's father ran. Let your compassion be ready, not as a reward for her sin, but as a picture of God's patience. Until then, do not bless what God forbids, and do not let bitterness take root. Love her enough to want her holiness, and leave the outcome to the Judge who desires repentance, not death.
