We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your precious daughter who is battling Crohn’s disease. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:2-3). We declare Your promise over her life—that by Your stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5). Lord, we ask You to touch her body, reduce the inflammation, and restore her strength. Give wisdom to her doctors and peace to her spirit as she endures this trial.
We also want to gently remind you that healing comes through faith in Jesus Christ, who bore our sicknesses and carried our pains (Matthew 8:17). If your daughter has not yet placed her trust in Him as Lord and Savior, we encourage you to share the gospel with her—that salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father’s healing power.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name and command it to leave her body. We stand on Your Word, which says that the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise them up (James 5:15). Strengthen her immune system, Lord, and let her body function as You designed it to. Surround her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and fill her with hope as she trusts in You.
We also pray for you, as her parent, that You would grant you endurance, wisdom, and comfort as you walk this journey with her. May you both feel the nearness of God in this difficult time (Psalm 34:18). We declare that this sickness will not define her future, but that Your glory will be revealed through her testimony of healing and restoration.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
