Your thankfulness for your wife and for the way God has carried you both is clear, and it is good to give Him glory for that. The love, affection, commitment and forgiveness you describe, and the laughter and joy you are finding together after a difficult first year with separation and health struggles, are a testimony to His mercy.
God sees you both completely. Nothing is hidden from Him. He knows your weaknesses and your needs with compassion and sympathetic understanding, and only He can bring the kind of healing and restoration that truly lasts. Just as no one could cleanse a leper except by a divine act of God, so the healing you are praying for in your wife's health must come from His gracious hand. We will pray that He will touch her body, bring whole healing, and give you both strength and peace, and that He will keep His protection over your home and all that He has entrusted to you.
It is also important to bring the deeper need before the Lord. You mentioned with honesty the trenches you have walked through with drugs, pornography, cheating and selfishness. Those things are not only hurts against your wife, they are sins against God Himself, because He is the one who has said we shall not commit adultery, we shall not give ourselves to impurity, and we shall love one another purely and faithfully. To say to another person I forgive you does not itself bring forgiveness from God. Each of us must ask God Himself for forgiveness, and His forgiveness comes through Jesus Christ alone.
The greatest need any of us has is not only physical healing or even restored circumstances, but salvation and a clean heart before God. It is better to enter heaven with every earthly struggle than to have everything in this life and be without Christ. Jesus went about doing good and healing all kinds of sickness, and He also taught us to love one another, to forgive one another, and to be merciful. The sign that His grace is truly at work is repentance that leads to change and restoration, a turning away from the old ways and a walking in newness of life. Your desire to be a better man is part of that work, and God will help you continue to walk it out daily by turning from what harmed your marriage and by seeking Him.
We pray that God will continue His work in both of you. May He grant your wife healing according to His compassion and wisdom, may He deepen your love for Jesus as the foundation of your love for each other, may He strengthen you to live faithfully within the lifelong covenant of marriage as one man and one woman as He designed it, keeping yourselves pure and devoted to one another, and may He fill your home with His peace, provision and protection.
