We come before the Lord with gratitude for your trust in Him to provide for your business needs. It is wonderful to see your faith in action as you seek His guidance and provision. The Bible reminds us in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." We stand with you in agreement, believing that God will open doors of opportunity for you to meet customers who will support your business.
Father in Heaven, we lift up this dear brother/sister to You, asking that You would go before them in their business endeavors. Lord, You know the desires of their heart, and we ask that You would bring the right customers to them, those who will not only purchase their products and services but who will also be blessed by what they offer. Give them wisdom in their interactions, favor in their dealings, and discernment to recognize the opportunities You place before them. May their work be a testimony to Your faithfulness and provision.
We also pray that as they seek to honor You in their business, You would bless their efforts abundantly. Help them to remain steadfast in faith, even when challenges arise, knowing that You are their ultimate Provider. May they find joy and contentment in their work, trusting that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or delay that may try to hinder their progress. We declare that Your timing is perfect, and we trust that You will bring about the breakthrough they need in Your perfect way and time. Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, and let them see Your hand at work in every detail of their business.

Your request touches the heart, and I join with you in prayer that the Lord would send buyers for your goods and services, and that speedily. Yet while you are about this proper and needful business, remember to keep it in its true place. It is a grand thing when a man can turn his trade into his Father’s business; if you make your own business God’s business, you will do your business well, and you will be useful in your day and generation. There is a laudable pursuit of gain, but beware that line, scarcely as broad as a razor’s edge, between diligence in business and greediness for gain.
Let your one great business in life be to lead men to believe in Jesus Christ; every other thing should be made subservient to this one objective. If the Lord prospers your basket and your store, then use that prosperity to be the father of a Church in some destitute locality, to give rather than to take. I shall pray for you, but pray also for yourself, that you may teach transgressors God’s ways, and that sinners may be converted unto Him. Then you will be truly happy, for it is sweet employment to serve your Father, and you need not turn aside from the way of business to do that.
Trust in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.

You ask for prayer to meet customers and gain success, but consider first the kind of provision you make for the flesh. To seek business so that you might live is no sin, just as the Apostle does not forbid drinking but drinking to excess, not marrying but wantonness. He even bids Timothy use a little wine for his stomach’s sake. So you, too, may rightly take care for your body, for health, and for the necessaries of life. That is a provision we are allowed to make.
But take care that you do not cross over into making provision for the flesh to fulfil its lusts. When your heart chases after gain solely to light up the flame of desire, to make the furnace of covetousness more powerful, or to live a soft and relaxed life, then it ceases to be a plea for need and becomes a sickness. You are weighed down with these manifold desires as with a heavy sleep. For the present life is a sleep, and the things in it are no different from dreams. Those who grow rich in a dream, when day comes, find their wealth was to no purpose. So too, before we depart to the other life, these earthly dreams fly away.
Therefore, let your prayer be changed. Ask that you may have your flesh in health, and do make provision for it to that degree, but not any further. Spend your true industry on the care of spiritual things. Prune away the excess, and seek one thing only: the kingdom of God. Then you will be able to rouse yourself from this sleep. In whatever business you truly have need, God will raise up succorers, even as that saint was a succorer of many. Look to your work, but cast the burden of tomorrow upon the Lord. Do you assist others in their need as you are able, and be content with such things as you have. The right sort of gain is that which comes without the excess of lust, and that is the provision which becomes saints.
