We come before the Lord with thanksgiving in our hearts, praising Him for His provision and faithfulness. We lift up this request, asking that God open doors of opportunity for you to meet customers who will purchase your products and services. The Lord is our Provider, and we trust in His perfect timing and plan for your business.

The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We stand on this promise, believing that God will meet your needs as you seek to honor Him in your work. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

We also encourage you to seek wisdom and guidance from the Lord in your business endeavors. James 1:5 says, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." May you find favor with both God and man as you conduct your business with integrity and honesty.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, thanking You for Your love and provision. Lord, we ask that You open doors of opportunity for this business, bringing customers who will purchase products and services. We pray for divine connections and favor in the marketplace. Father, grant wisdom and discernment in all business decisions, and may everything be done to Your glory. We trust in Your perfect timing and provision, knowing that You are faithful to meet every need. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We also want to encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in all aspects of your life, including your business. As you delight yourself in the Lord, He will give you the desires of your heart (Psalm 37:4). Keep your focus on Him, and He will guide your steps. May the Lord bless you abundantly as you serve Him with your talents and resources.

We’re standing with you as you wait for the customers God is bringing your way, and we’re grateful for the heart of praise you’re carrying even while you wait. That posture matters more than we often realize. It keeps us anchored in trust instead of anxiety, and it reminds us that our work is something we get to offer back to him, whether sales are slow or steady.

One thing we’ve seen help in seasons like this is simply putting yourself where the people are, even in small, consistent ways, a local market, a community event, a conversation over coffee. Sometimes the connections that open doors start as ordinary neighborly moments, not as sales pitches. Ask the Lord to give you eyes for the person in front of you and the patience to let relationships grow at a natural pace. You’re not just looking for a transaction; you’re offering something your work has produced, and that takes the right fit.

Keep doing what you do with excellence and faithfulness, trusting that the same God who gives the skill also opens the doors. We’re praying with you that those doors open very soon.

Jesus, we lift up this business to you. You know the products and services being offered, and you know the people who need exactly what this work provides. Bring those customers across the path, and give clear opportunities to serve them well. While the wait continues, guard against discouragement and fill this heart with steady hope and creative ideas. Thank you that you care about every detail of our lives, including our work, and that you are faithful to provide. In your name we ask this, amen.

How many are there who have thought to find solace on that bed of thorns, the cares of this world and the merchandise thereof! Beware of that thought in your wicked heart which counts obedience to God a dead loss. If you make your own business God’s business, you will do your business well. Then be about your Father’s business. The King’s business requireth haste, but it is not a haste that frets and worries, for He who has been our God in the past will certainly be our God in the future.

Your extremity is God’s opportunity. The difficulty all along has been to get to the end of you, for when a man gets to the end of himself, he has reached the beginning of God’s working. Cease from your own striving and with prayerful importunity cry out to Him who never yet turned a deaf ear to His chosen. See how the poor widow pressed her suit at every possible opportunity until the unjust judge avenged her, how much more shall the righteous Lord attend to the cries of His own elect who cry day and night unto Him!

The provision was made before the need arose. In the eternal purpose, the Lamb was slain from before the foundations of the world, there was an arrangement for cleansing before there was any defilement. So too, before this want pressed upon you, the supply was laid up in Christ Jesus. Let this be your prayer, that you may snatch every opportunity by the wing, but look not to the opportunity as your savior. Jesus Christ never had a thought of fame or gain, but was consumed with the zeal of His Father’s house. Your business with sin is to mortify it, and your business with customers is to serve them as unto the Lord. He who is over all, the eternally blessed God, will bring the right souls across your path in His own time, that you may do your Father’s business still.

You pray for customers, and this is a fitting thing to ask of God, for He knows we have need of these things. But take great care how you frame this request in your own heart. You must not make provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts. There is a daily bread for which we are commanded to pray, a sufficiency for the body’s health, and to ask for this is no sin.

But if in your prayer for customers, you are secretly kindling a desire for wealth and soft living, you are not seeking provision but wantonness. That path is a heavy sleep. The riches gained there are no different from the treasures a man grasps in a dream, which vanish when the soul is called to awake at the true daylight of judgment. Consider those who pride themselves in dress or live a relaxed life; they make their flesh a furnace of desire.

You, however, have put on Christ. Let your prayer, then, be pruned of all excess. Seek only what is necessary, that you may have your flesh in health and spend your chief industry on the things of the Spirit. When you conduct your business, do so as one receiving persons for the Lord’s sake, with attention and holiness, and you will find that the Lord sends you those who have need of what you offer, even as He sent a succorer to many and to His apostles.

Let go of the sales pitch in prayer, the desperate inner script that tries to convince God to bless a plan because you have promised Him something in return. There is a better way. In the Levitical law, when the leper came for cleansing, God made a strange provision. He included a law for the leper in the day of his cleansing, even though leprosy was utterly incurable. He left Himself room to work a miracle. He made allowance for His own hand to move beyond human explanation.

Bring that same quiet expectation into your business. You are not asking God to rubber-stamp a strategy you have already perfected. You are bringing your needs to Him and leaving room for Him to provide customers in ways you cannot engineer or foresee. He may open a door through an unlikely conversation, or bring a buyer just when things look impossible. Your task is to work diligently, with honest weights and a straight reputation, and then step back far enough to let Him work.

And remember what the twelve-year-old Jesus declared in the temple: "I must be about my Father's business." That was the burden of His whole life. If you belong to Christ, your business has become a slice of your Father's business. The first goal is not merely a sale, but doing His will in how you serve people. A righteous name and a fair deal will outlast all the shortcuts the world suggests you must take to survive. The hand of the diligent makes rich in ways a hasty, shady path never can.

Above this daily provision, do not miss the deeper provision. Just as the Israelites in the wilderness had only to look at the bronze serpent to live, God has made one provision for your sin and your peace: Jesus Christ. When your most urgent need is met in Him, the other needs find their right proportion. Trust His Son for your soul, and trust His open-handed generosity for the customers you need. He knows the work is pressing, so I will pray with you that the Lord causes the right people to cross your path very soon, and that He keeps you upright and restful in the waiting.
