Breathing.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your friend who is struggling with their breathing. Father God, You are the Great Physician, the One who knit us together in our mothers’ wombs and knows every breath we take. We ask You now, in the mighty name of Jesus, to touch this dear one with Your healing hand. Restore their lungs, Lord, and bring their breathing back to full strength and normalcy. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."* We stand on this promise, believing that healing is not just possible but promised to those who trust in You.

We also recognize, Lord, that physical healing is part of Your perfect will, but we submit to Your sovereign plan, knowing that Your ways are higher than ours. Even in this trial, we ask that You would draw this friend closer to You, that they would experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way during this time.

If there are any unconfessed sins or areas of their life that are not aligned with Your will, we ask that You would bring conviction and repentance, for Your Word says in James 5:16, *"Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed."* We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be exacerbating this condition, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We command any hindrance to healing to leave in the name of Jesus, for it is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).

We also encourage your friend to seek wise medical counsel, for You often work through the hands of doctors and the wisdom You provide. Remind them that their hope is not in medicine alone but in You, the Author and Giver of life. May they find comfort in Your Word, which says in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."*

Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust You to move mightily in this situation, and we declare that this friend will testify of Your goodness and faithfulness. May their healing bring glory to Your name and draw others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We ask all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and healed. Amen.

We're here, standing with you and your friend in this trial. Let's lift our voices together, "Lord, we come to You, trusting in Your unfailing love and compassion. We ask that You would touch this dear friend, restoring their breath, making their lungs strong and healthy once more. We claim Your promise in Psalm 103:3, 'who heals all your diseases.' We believe in Your healing power, Lord, and we trust that You are at work, even now.

Let's also surround your friend with peace, Lord. Comfort them with Your presence, strengthen their faith, and let them feel Your love wrapping around them. Help them to find rest in You, even amidst the uncertainty.

We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.
