Trouble breathing

Please pray for me. I'm having trouble breathing and I'm wheezing. This is happening over and over. I been to the emergency room but they been giving me steroids but not enough like normally. Please pray this stop immediately. Pray the nebulizer i have here can resolve the issue. I also have a migraine headache from not getting enough air and all the panting trying to breath. Heavenly father please help me...Please please pray...ijnipa

We hear your cry for help, and we lift you up before the throne of grace with urgency and compassion. Your struggle with breathing and the pain of migraines from this ordeal is heavy, and we stand with you in prayer, believing that the Lord hears the cries of His children. The Word reminds us in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." You are not alone in this battle, and we declare healing over your body in Jesus' name.

Father God, we come before You with hearts grieving for our brother/sister in distress. We ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand and touch their lungs, airways, and every part of their body affected by this struggle. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command every obstruction, inflammation, or attack on their breathing to cease immediately. Let the nebulizer they have be filled with Your power to bring relief and restoration. Lord, we pray for wisdom for the medical professionals treating them, guide their hands and minds to provide the care and treatment needed. We speak peace over their mind and body, asking You to relieve the migraine and any anxiety or fear that may be compounding this trial.

We also lift up their spirit, Lord. If there is any unforgiveness, bitterness, or unconfessed sin weighing on their heart, we ask You to reveal it so they may find freedom and release through repentance. The Bible tells us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We stand on this promise, believing that You are able to restore health and wholeness.

We encourage you to continue seeking medical attention and follow the advice of your doctors, but also to trust in the Great Physician, Jesus Christ, who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). If you have not already, consider reaching out to your local church or trusted believers to pray over you in person, as the Bible encourages us to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2).

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and healed. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, our brother/sister is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We bind every spirit of affliction and command it to leave their body now. We release Your healing virtue, peace, and strength over them. Lord, fill their lungs with Your breath of life, ease their pain, and restore their body to full health. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayer. We trust in You, knowing that You are working all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

In the midst of the panting and pain, it's so hard to think clearly or feel anything but fear. Right now, we're simply asking Jesus to calm your body and quiet the panic. We're asking Him to ease the tightness in your chest so you can draw a deep, full breath, and to lift the migraine that makes everything worse. May He steady your heart, fill your home with a sense of His nearness, and give you a moment of true rest. We also pray for the hands that will care for you, that doctors see clearly what's happening and that the right treatment brings you back to strength.

We're not letting go of you in prayer. You are not alone in this fight. In Jesus' name.

The frame gasps and the lungs heave; the panting for breath becomes the very picture of a soul under the crushing burden of its own mortality. Yet remember, when racked with many pains from which you seek in vain for relief, the sweet relief of pardoned sin flashes from the believer’s countenance, even while the body fails. The difficulty of the flesh is the mountain we would flee, but the living Savior stands upon its summit. What is this obstruction but a stone before the tomb of your comfort?

Does it happen that the difficulty which troubles us is one concerning our very service to our Lord in a frail body? Then the stone is rolled away because Christ is risen. The splendid deed of Grace was no triviality; He bled and died because the ruin was dire and the need urgent. If He gave Himself for the eternal, will He not attend the temporal cry?

That difficulty that obstructs your breath must vanish before His life. Let the medicine do its work, for the appointed means are not opposed to faith, but pump the heart with this grander truth: the Lord is risen, and because He lives, every wheezing gasp is heard in the courts of Heaven. The chains of this affliction shall not hold you, for the Angel of the Covenant looses the prisoner. Pray, and in praying feel the calm belief that the Father’s hand is not shortened.

I am praying for you now. The fear of not being able to breathe is one of the sharpest fears there is, and I will not brush it aside. Your body is exhausted from the struggle for air, and the migraine only makes the trial heavier. But do not let the return of this trouble convince you that God has turned away from you. He sees the wheezing, the panting, the pain behind your eyes, and He is not far off.

Let us ask Him together.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, open these airways. Quiet the wheezing and let the nebulizer do its work effectively. Ease the migraine that comes from lack of air. Stop this attack now, and give wisdom to the doctors and nurses who have treated this. Sustain this precious soul with Your peace, even while the body struggles. Let Your mercy be known in the relief of these symptoms.

Do not be troubled as though these repeated attacks have undone God’s care. The gospel has not promised a life without suffering, but it has promised a Savior who remains with us in the middle of it. The apostle Paul knew what it was to be pressed hard, and he said that God comforts us in all our tribulation so that we may be able to comfort others in any trouble. This affliction is not meaningless to God. He is using it to draw your heart to Him, and He will not waste it.

Keep using the nebulizer as you have been instructed, and if the breathing does not improve or grows worse, do not hesitate to seek medical help again. But as you wait, keep praying in short breaths if you must, even only the name of Jesus. He hears. The Comforter promised to the apostles is with you now, and He does not leave His people in their gasping.

May the God of all comfort settle your lungs, lift the pain from your head, and restore your strength. I am praying that this stops immediately, in the mighty name of Jesus.
