We hear your heart’s cry for redemption, deliverance, and blessing over every area of your life, your home, your pets, and your desire for companionship. The passion in your words reflects a deep longing for God’s protection, provision, and peace. Yet we must gently but firmly address some areas where your words and desires may not fully align with Scripture, so that your faith may be built on the solid foundation of God’s truth.

First, we rejoice that you declare redemption through the blood of Jesus! This is the only source of true freedom and hope. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and surrender your life to Him. This is the first and most vital step in experiencing the fullness of His redemption.

Now, regarding your relationship: You mention having a "boyfriend," but Scripture is clear that romantic relationships outside of marriage are not God’s design. If you are unmarried, your focus should be on seeking a godly spouse, a man who loves the Lord and is committed to honoring Him, rather than simply having a boyfriend. Courtship should be entered with the intent of marriage, not casual companionship. 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 warns, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." If you are engaging in a sexual relationship outside of marriage, we must lovingly call this what it is: fornication. Repentance and turning away from this sin is necessary to walk in God’s blessing.

Your desire for a safe home, protection for your pets, and joy in life are all valid and good. Psalm 37:4 says, "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." But we must ensure those desires align with His will. Proverbs 19:14 reminds us, "House and riches are an inheritance from fathers, but a prudent wife is from the Lord." If you are seeking a spouse, pray for God’s guidance and trust His timing. Do not settle for a relationship that does not honor Him.

We also notice that your declaration of redemption seems to be tied to specific outcomes, no harm coming to your pets, having a boyfriend, or enjoying life in certain ways. While God does care about every detail of our lives, redemption is not a formula to guarantee our preferences. It is freedom from sin, peace with God, and the assurance of eternal life through Christ. Romans 8:28 assures us, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God’s plans for you are good, even when they differ from your own.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved and redeemed. We lift up this dear sister to You, asking that You would draw her close to Your heart. Lord, we thank You for the redemption that is found in Christ alone. We ask that You would reveal any areas in her life that do not align with Your Word, especially in her relationships. Give her the strength to walk in purity and the wisdom to seek Your will above her own desires.

Father, if she is not yet saved, we pray that You would open her eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Help her to see her need for Jesus and to surrender her life fully to Him. If she is in a relationship that does not honor You, give her the courage to repent and seek Your best for her life. We pray for her home, that it would be a place of safety, peace, and Your presence. Protect her pets and all that You have entrusted to her care.

Lord, we ask that You would fill her with Your joy, not dependent on circumstances but rooted in Your love. Teach her to delight in You, knowing that You will fulfill the desires of her heart as she seeks You first. We rebuke any spirit of fear, loneliness, or discontentment that may be speaking lies to her. Let her rest in the truth that You are her Provider, Protector, and Redeemer.

We declare over her life that she is redeemed by the blood of Jesus, not just from harm or lack, but from sin, death, and separation from You. May she walk in the freedom and victory that Christ purchased for her on the cross. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to spend time in God’s Word, seeking His heart for your life. Psalm 119:105 says, "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path." Let Scripture guide your steps, and surround yourself with believers who will encourage you in your walk with Christ. If you are struggling with loneliness or impatience in waiting for a godly spouse, remember that God is preparing you for the blessings He has in store. Trust in His timing and His goodness.

Thank you for sharing what’s on your heart with us. We can hear you reaching toward Jesus’s protection and provision over so many areas of your life, your longing for companionship, the safety of your cats, a good and secure home, and the freedom to enjoy life fully. That’s a real act of faith, and we’re standing with you before the Lord in it.

Right now, it’s clear you’re carrying these concerns close to your heart, and we want you to know you don’t carry them alone. God cares about the things that weigh on you, even the details that might feel small to someone else. He invites you to cast it all on Him, not as a formula that guarantees specific outcomes, but as a way of resting in His faithful love.

When anxious thoughts start to swirl, a simple, concrete step can sometimes help. Try writing down one concern at a time and then, with your hand over it, tell God, ā€œI’m leaving this with You for today.ā€ Not pushing the worry away, but handing it over intentionally. You’ve already begun doing that by declaring His redeeming power, now you can let those truths settle deep into your heart, trusting that He sees, He hears, and He will meet you in each need in His perfect way.

Lord Jesus, thank You that You are close to the brokenhearted and that every longing is fully known to You. We ask You to wrap this dear woman in Your peace right now. Watch over her home and her precious cats, and provide the safety and security she yearns for. Guide her steps, bring godly friends alongside her, and if it’s Your will, open the door to a loving, Christ-centered relationship. Until then, fill her with the joy that can’t be shaken, and quiet her heart with the assurance that she is held firmly in Your care. In Your name we pray, amen.

The word ā€œRedeemedā€ has been used as though it were a spell to secure a boyfriend, the safety of cats, and a comfortable home. But redemption is not a charm against earthly trouble or a promise that all our fancies shall be fulfilled. It is deliverance from the guilt and power of sin through the precious blood of Christ, and if you have that, you have the fount of every true joy. Yet your letter breathes a craving for something more: a longing for a boyfriend that has fixed your heart there rather than upon Him. Beware, lest you fashion a golden calf out of a creature and call it redemption. I would press this upon you: Suppose you gain the boyfriend, suppose your cats never come to harm, suppose your house stands safe, and you miss Christ? Then you have nothing. But if you have Christ and not a single earthly comfort besides, you possess the unsearchable riches of joy in God alone.

You may joy, perhaps, in past achievements, and there may come to you a joy in your prospects for the future, but there is no joy equal to joy in God! Suppose you have nothing in the house but God? What a mercy it is that when you can joy in nothing else, you can joy in God! Make Him your joy, the whole of your joy, and then let this joy absorb your every thought. As for the desire after a boyfriend, I must ask plainly: Is this a longing for a godly marriage, sought according to the Lord’s own pattern, or is it simply a hunger to enjoy life greatly through a companionship that may stand outside His design? The historic faith holds marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, with all intimacy belonging within it. Any friendship that pretends to romantic attachment while shunning that holy bond is not blessed but a snare. I dare not pray for that. Instead, I pray the Spirit would so fill your heart with joy in Christ that the idols of earth lose their glitter.

True joy dwells where dwells the living God and nowhere else. In your own home with God, even though that home is only a single room and your meal is very scanty, you will see more of Heaven than in the palaces of kings. The blood of Jesus does not secure that your cat never meets a thorn, but it does wash away your sin and bring you near to the Father, who numbers the very hairs of your head and cares for all His creatures in His wise providence. Cast your care upon Him, but do not mistake the shadow of earthly ease for the substance of eternal redemption. Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice. Let your soul dance before Him in thanksgiving for sins forgiven and a hope that fadeth not, and all these other matters shall find their proper place or be seen as the trifles they are when set beside His glory.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The blood of Jesus was not shed to secure boyfriends or shield cats from harm, but to deliver you from sin, death, and the devil. You speak as though redemption were a charm for earthly comforts, but Christ died to set you free from the very passions that make you cling so desperately to these things. What kind of safety do you seek? A home untouched by trouble, a heart never disappointed? That is the security of this world, a fleeting shadow. The true safety is to be held within the fold of Christ, to know that nothing can thrust you out from His care, and to find your joy in Him alone, not in the presence or absence of any earthly good.

Consider the apostles. Peter in chains, enduring evils without number, yet rejoicing more than any consul lounging in wealth. Where did such gladness come from? From knowing that his life was hidden with Christ. You, on the other hand, fix your hope on things that perish. You want redemption from loneliness, from loss, from worry over creatures. But God calls you to a higher freedom: to be delivered from the tyranny of your own desires, to be undaunted in every danger because you fear Him alone. When you fear God, there is nothing dreadful left. The devil cannot overtake the soul that runs vigorously toward Christ, that looks not back at the things of this life.

I tell you, the grief you feel over what you lack is more dangerous than the lack itself. You mourn the absence of a boyfriend, you fret over your cats, while your own sins go unwept. But the tears that flow for your soul’s imperfections are seeds of eternal joy. The laughter that comes from getting what you want here often ends in the gnashing of teeth. Afflict yourself a little now, labor to uproot your attachment to these passing things, and you will find rest that cannot be taken from you. What I long for is your growth in holiness. Put ten thousand royal crowns on my head and they would not give me the joy I feel when I see a soul learning to love virtue more than comfort. You have seized upon the word ā€œredeemed,ā€ but you must flee with it beyond the devil’s reach. Tarry not in this shallow interpretation, or he will snatch away what you think you have gained.

The true pasture of Christ is safety and peace for the soul that follows Him, not a guarantee against every earthly inconvenience. He nurtures His sheep, He gives them lordship over the passions, He causes them to remain within His love where no enemy can cast them out. This is the freedom worth pursuing. Let your mourning be for your sins, your longing be for righteousness, your home be in the will of God. Then, whether you have a boyfriend or not, whether your cats are well or ailing, you will possess a joy unmixed with grief, and you will dwell in a habitation that cannot be shaken.

Your declaration of redemption through the blood of Jesus is powerful. The blood of Christ is the ground of all our hope, and it is good when a heart clings to that reality. Scripture tells us that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. Everything we truly need flows from that union with Christ. But redemption is not simply a means to acquire a boyfriend, a safer house, or protection for your cats, precious as those things are. Redemption is about being brought back to God Himself, your soul bound up in the bundle of life with Him, close to His heart.

It is easy to find yourself living under the sun, where even great blessings can leave you empty and grasping. A man once had everything anyone could want, yet cried out against the frustration of it all, because his life had revolved around things that do not last. When any desire becomes the master passion of your life, that passion becomes your god. God loves you too much to answer prayers that would cement something worldly at the center of your existence. Your deepest need is not any single gift, but the Giver Himself. Jesus calls you to follow Him, to let Him be the focal point upon which your whole life turns. When you do, He does not necessarily remove every trial or grant every wish, but He gives you a quality of life that is full of righteousness, peace, and joy, a life that cannot be shaken by what comes or does not come.

Seek first His kingdom, and His wisdom. Wisdom is a tree of life to those who take hold of her, leading you in paths that are safe and right. Lay hold of instruction, and she will bring pleasantness and peace. A good home and the safety of those you love are natural and good desires. God designed families to be secure places of love. Yet the greatest home is the one where Christ dwells, and the safest place for you and your pets is held within the will of God. Your soul is bound in the bundle of life with the Lord, and that means no matter what outward circumstances look like, your life is hidden with Christ in God. Even when earthly things feel uncertain, you are kept.

Let your prayer be shaped by the hope of eternal life. This life is not just quantity, it is a life marked by the presence of God now. Instead of feeling you must confess your way into having everything you want right now, rest in what is already yours in Christ. Let Him examine your heart. If the desire for a relationship or a better house has started to crowd His place, lay it down before Him, not as something lost, but as an offering. He does add good things to our lives, but they can never be the center. There you will walk safely, and your steps will not be hindered.

You are redeemed, not only from not having a boyfriend or from worrying about your cats, but from the empty way of life that chases shadows. You are redeemed to live in the reality that He who has the Son has life. That life is your portion. Let your soul be still in that truth, and trust Him with all the details.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with your heart and allowed us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. Your words about being redeemed by the blood of Jesus resonated deeply with us, and we have continued to lift up your desire for a life filled with joy, safety, and God’s blessings—both for yourself and your precious pets.

If God has moved in your situation and answered your prayers, we would love to celebrate with you! Please share a praise report so we can rejoice together in His faithfulness. If it feels like your prayers haven’t yet been answered, we encourage you to post your request again. We are here to stand with you, interceding on your behalf until you see His promises fulfilled in your life.

May the Lord continue to remind you of His redemption—over your relationships, your home, your pets, and every area of your life. We pray that He surrounds you with His peace, provision, and protection, and that you experience the fullness of His love in every way. Keep seeking Him, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you.

In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.

Please pray for me. I'm in a lot of turmoil about my boyfriend. We are in courtship but I know that I probably shouldn't have started a relationship with him because it began out of me being lonely (and possibly the same on his end) even though I genuinely care for him as a person and do love...
