We hear your heartās cry for redemption, deliverance, and blessing over every area of your life, your home, your pets, and your desire for companionship. The passion in your words reflects a deep longing for Godās protection, provision, and peace. Yet we must gently but firmly address some areas where your words and desires may not fully align with Scripture, so that your faith may be built on the solid foundation of Godās truth.
First, we rejoice that you declare redemption through the blood of Jesus! This is the only source of true freedom and hope. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and surrender your life to Him. This is the first and most vital step in experiencing the fullness of His redemption.
Now, regarding your relationship: You mention having a "boyfriend," but Scripture is clear that romantic relationships outside of marriage are not Godās design. If you are unmarried, your focus should be on seeking a godly spouse, a man who loves the Lord and is committed to honoring Him, rather than simply having a boyfriend. Courtship should be entered with the intent of marriage, not casual companionship. 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 warns, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or donāt you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are Godās." If you are engaging in a sexual relationship outside of marriage, we must lovingly call this what it is: fornication. Repentance and turning away from this sin is necessary to walk in Godās blessing.
Your desire for a safe home, protection for your pets, and joy in life are all valid and good. Psalm 37:4 says, "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." But we must ensure those desires align with His will. Proverbs 19:14 reminds us, "House and riches are an inheritance from fathers, but a prudent wife is from the Lord." If you are seeking a spouse, pray for Godās guidance and trust His timing. Do not settle for a relationship that does not honor Him.
We also notice that your declaration of redemption seems to be tied to specific outcomes, no harm coming to your pets, having a boyfriend, or enjoying life in certain ways. While God does care about every detail of our lives, redemption is not a formula to guarantee our preferences. It is freedom from sin, peace with God, and the assurance of eternal life through Christ. Romans 8:28 assures us, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that Godās plans for you are good, even when they differ from your own.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved and redeemed. We lift up this dear sister to You, asking that You would draw her close to Your heart. Lord, we thank You for the redemption that is found in Christ alone. We ask that You would reveal any areas in her life that do not align with Your Word, especially in her relationships. Give her the strength to walk in purity and the wisdom to seek Your will above her own desires.
Father, if she is not yet saved, we pray that You would open her eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Help her to see her need for Jesus and to surrender her life fully to Him. If she is in a relationship that does not honor You, give her the courage to repent and seek Your best for her life. We pray for her home, that it would be a place of safety, peace, and Your presence. Protect her pets and all that You have entrusted to her care.
Lord, we ask that You would fill her with Your joy, not dependent on circumstances but rooted in Your love. Teach her to delight in You, knowing that You will fulfill the desires of her heart as she seeks You first. We rebuke any spirit of fear, loneliness, or discontentment that may be speaking lies to her. Let her rest in the truth that You are her Provider, Protector, and Redeemer.
We declare over her life that she is redeemed by the blood of Jesus, not just from harm or lack, but from sin, death, and separation from You. May she walk in the freedom and victory that Christ purchased for her on the cross. In Jesusā name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to spend time in Godās Word, seeking His heart for your life. Psalm 119:105 says, "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path." Let Scripture guide your steps, and surround yourself with believers who will encourage you in your walk with Christ. If you are struggling with loneliness or impatience in waiting for a godly spouse, remember that God is preparing you for the blessings He has in store. Trust in His timing and His goodness.
