Heavenly Father, I come before you in the name of Jesus, asking for your forgiveness of all my sins and blessings. I am burdened with a debt and I am being harassed by calls and visits from the banks, which has brought shame to my family. Lord, I ask for your divine intervention and a miracle, so that debt collections agencies close my accounts completely and I will no longer need to make payments, as I have already paid them more than I borrowed. I am also receiving threats from the banks, warning of legal actions and that they will contact my friends and family to harass them. Additionally, I owe money with interest. My desire is to repay everyone. If these people continue to harass me or my contacts, it could jeopardize my new job and leave me unemployed again. Lord I ask for your intervention to stop harassment and repeated calls from every debt collection agency and individual to whom I have to repay to me, my family and friends, as their presence disrupts our peace. Jesus, please help that no one visit my home to whom I have to pay else that will create a huge problem. Please hear my prayer and grant me peace and resolution. Lord, I ask for your miracle and intervention by granting me a personal loan and I get the same without any hassle as it will help me to pay off all my debts. I ask this in Jesus name. We join with you in prayer and we thank you for coming before the Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we are saved and forgiven, as it is written Acts 4:12 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, and John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. We rejoice that you have asked for forgiveness of sins and we claim 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

We hear your burden regarding financial debt, the harassment from banks and collection agencies, the shame you feel before your family, the threats of legal action and contact with your friends and family, and the fear that this could jeopardize your new job. We understand the anxiety and the lack of peace this brings, and we bring this before the Lord with you.

We want to lovingly speak truth into one part of your request. You ask that collection agencies would close your accounts completely so you will no longer need to make payments because you feel you have already paid more than you borrowed, yet you also say your desire is to repay everyone. We must gently correct and encourage you in biblical principle here. God is a God of justice, integrity, and truth, and His Word calls us to honor our obligations. Psalm 37:21 The wicked borrow, and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously. Romans 13:8 Owe no one anything, except to love one another. Proverbs 22:7 The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender. Even when interest feels heavy and we feel we have paid much, if we entered into an agreement to borrow and to repay with interest, we are called to fulfill what we promised to the best of our ability with honesty. We cannot ask God to simply make a legitimate debt disappear while we still owe, but we can ask Him for provision, wisdom, strength to work diligently, and favor to repay what is owed in a way that honors Him. To ask for a miracle to avoid repayment would not align with His righteousness, but to ask for a miracle of provision to be able to repay does.

We also hear your desire for a personal loan without hassle to pay off all debts. We urge caution here, for taking on new debt to pay old debt can often deepen the burden unless it is done with great wisdom, counsel, and discipline. Proverbs 21:5 The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit and Proverbs 15:22 Where there is no counsel, plans fail but in a multitude of counselors they are established. We encourage you to seek godly financial counsel, perhaps through your local church, to create a budget, to communicate honestly with creditors, and to work faithfully in the job God has provided, trusting that diligent work is part of His provision. 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12 encourages us to work with our own hands so that we may walk properly toward those who are outside, and that we may have need of nothing.

We do pray for relief from harassment and for peace in your home, and for protection over your employment. God cares about your peace and your family’s peace. Philippians 4:6-7 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Matthew 6:33 But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness and all these things will be added to you. Philippians 4:19 My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up our brother before Your throne of grace. Lord, we thank You for Your forgiveness and mercy toward him. Father, You see the weight of this debt, the constant calls, the visits, the threats, the shame and the fear of losing his new job and troubling his family and friends. Lord, grant him Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard his heart and mind. We ask for Your divine provision, not for avoidance of responsibility, but for the ability to do what is right and to owe no one anything. Provide for his needs according to Your riches in glory, open doors for honest work and steady income, and grant him wisdom to steward what You provide. Give him favor to communicate with lenders with truth and humility, and we ask that You would restrain any unlawful or excessive harassment against him and his family, and protect his home and his workplace in a lawful and peaceful way. Lord, give him counselors of wisdom, help him to make a diligent plan to repay what is owed, to live within his means, and to avoid taking on further debt unwisely. Help him to seek first Your Kingdom and to trust You as his ultimate provider and protector. Forgive us where we have been anxious or faithless, and help him to walk in integrity so that his testimony may honor You. We ask all this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to remain faithful in your new job, to work heartily as unto the Lord, to keep honest records, to communicate in writing with creditors where possible, to seek help from a trusted pastor or financially wise believer, and to continue to cast your cares on Him each day, trusting that God will provide a way forward as you walk in diligence and integrity.

We have been praying with you over this weight of debt and the constant calls and visits. It makes sense you feel shame and worry for your family and your new job when peace at home is disrupted and threats of legal action are hanging over you.

We are encouraged that even in this pressure you want to do what is right and repay what you owe. That honest desire matters to God and it is a good foundation to build on.

When the pressure is this intense it helps to have someone calm and experienced walk alongside you. One practical step many have found steadying is to meet with a reputable nonprofit consumer credit counselor or trusted financial counselor who can look at each account with you, help you understand what you actually owe including interest, and help you make a realistic repayment plan to present to creditors. Just having a clear plan in place can bring some hope and give you a way to communicate with collectors instead of facing repeated calls alone. If you do consider another loan, please get that counsel first so you do not add to the burden.

The burden you describe of debt, shame before your family, and fear of calls and visits is heavy, and it is right that you have brought it before the Lord seeking forgiveness and mercy in the name of Jesus. There is no other name whereby we can be saved, and there is no true peace to be found out of Christ, for He is our peace through the blood of His atonement.

You ask for peace and resolution, and the Word directs us where that peace is to be found. You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. That perfect peace is not the peace of apathy nor the peace that Satan gives when he cries peace, peace where there is no peace. It is the peace that comes from knowing that our enormous debt of sin has been fully discharged by the Lord Jesus Christ for all believers, and the blood of Jesus whispers peace within. When conscience is at peace with God through Christ, then the heart may know the peace of God which passes all understanding, even while sorrows and duties press around us.

For this reason I cannot ask God to bless what would not be honest or just. To pray that agencies would simply close accounts that are still owed, or that you might be released from lawful payments while a debt remains, would be to seek peace at the expense of truth, and I should dread to give peace to anyone upon any subject at the expense of the truth of God. The Scripture says, Owe no man anything, and the wicked borrows and does not repay. If interest was agreed upon, having paid back what was borrowed does not in itself discharge what is still lawfully due. Your own desire to repay everyone is the right and godly desire, and it is that desire which the Lord will honour. Our prayer therefore must not be that God would help us to avoid what we owe, but that He would give us grace, diligence and provision to render to all their dues and to do what is honest in the sight of all men.

I will pray with you and for you in this way, that the Lord would grant you forgiveness through Christ and keep your mind stayed upon Him, that He would give you great peace as you love His law and trust His keeping for yourself and your loved ones. May He grant you wisdom to deal faithfully with those to whom you owe money, to speak truthfully with them, to seek godly counsel for ordering your finances, and to labour with diligence in the new employment He has provided. May He in His providence supply what you need to meet your obligations, and give you prudence concerning any further borrowing, that you do not take on a new burden rashly but only as wisdom and necessity truly require. May He restrain all harsh and unlawful harassment, and move both you and your creditors to act with fairness and calmness, so that your home may know quietness and your work may not be jeopardized, and that your family and friends may be spared distress.

Christ has left us peace in the conscience because He has made peace by His blood. Seek Christ first, and peace will come next, not as a lull of stupefaction, but as a well founded and filling peace in believing. Bear your sorrow with Him, commit your way to Him in honesty, and you shall find that to do the will of Jesus is rest.

Our Father in heaven, we come through Jesus Christ alone, asking forgiveness of sins and the peace which He purchased. Grant to this one a heart that trusts in You and is kept in perfect peace. Forgive sin, renew the heart, and teach faithful stewardship. Provide by Your hand for daily needs and for honest repayment, give wisdom to every decision, guard the household from fear and shame, and keep this dear one in the keeping of Jesus, safe and at rest. Your prayer has been heard and I thank you for sharing so honestly about the burden you are carrying. The weight of debt, the shame you feel before your family, the constant calls and visits, and the fear of losing your new job and facing threats of legal action would trouble any heart, and it is right to bring all of this before the Lord.

First, you began by asking for forgiveness of sins in the name of Jesus, and that is the sure foundation. Scripture teaches that forgiveness and peace with God come through Jesus Christ alone, by His death and resurrection for us. When we confess our sins and trust in Him, God forgives and cleanses us, not because of our own goodness but because of His mercy. Hold fast to that promise, and continue to walk with Him in repentance and faith.

I also hear your sincere desire to repay what you owe, and that desire honors God. The Bible teaches that we should fulfill our obligations and that love does not seek to avoid what is justly due. It says the wicked borrow and do not repay, but the righteous are generous and show integrity. For that reason I cannot ask God to simply cause your lawful debts to disappear or to ask Him to bless not paying what is still owed, even though you feel you have already paid more than you borrowed. Interest and repayment terms are part of the agreement that was made, and God calls us to be faithful in keeping our word as we are able. A true miracle in this situation is not that the debt would be erased dishonestly, but that God would provide wisdom, provision, and strength so you can meet your obligations in a right and orderly way.

You also asked for peace from harassment and for protection for your family, your home, and your job. The Lord Jesus said, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you. This is not merely the absence of phone calls or visitors, but a steadiness of heart that God guards even when troubles remain. The peace of God is meant to rule in our hearts and to be the foundation for love and sound decisions. It is good to pray that those who are collecting what is owed would act lawfully and without threatening or shaming you or your family and friends, and that God would guard your home and your employment. At the same time, peace is kept as we also pursue what is right and peaceable with all people, which includes dealing truthfully and respectfully with those we owe.

For your practical path forward, I encourage you to take these steps before the Lord with wisdom. Keep working diligently in the job God has provided and be a faithful steward of what you earn. Make a clear list of what is owed and to whom, and seek godly counsel from a pastor or a trusted, biblically grounded financial counselor in your church who can help you make a realistic budget and repayment plan. Where possible, communicate calmly and in writing with your creditors to explain your situation and to seek a lawful, documented arrangement, and learn what protections the law in your area provides against abusive collection practices. Be cautious about seeking another personal loan to pay existing debts, as this can often add to the burden. If additional help is needed, seek counsel first so you do not exchange one heavy yoke for another.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus I thank You that You forgive sin through Christ alone and that You hear those who call on You. Grant this dear one assurance of Your forgiveness and Your nearness. It is good that you have come before the Father in the name of Jesus and asked for forgiveness of sins, for that is where true peace must begin.

Scripture makes a distinction that is important for you now. First there is peace with God, which comes only through the blood of Jesus Christ shed on the cross. He has made peace for us so that our sins can be forgiven and we are no longer at war with God. Then there is the peace of God, that steady, perfect peace that guards the heart and mind when life is full of chaos. Jesus said, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you, not as the world gives. The world cannot understand this peace, and it does not depend on circumstances being calm.

That peace of God is promised to the one whose mind is stayed on Him, because he trusts in Him. When your thoughts are fixed on the Lord, on His character, His promises, and His care for you, His peace begins to fill your heart even while the pressures remain. God wants you to live in this peace. He has offered a peace treaty to all who will come to Him, and His thoughts toward His children are thoughts of peace, not of evil, to give hope. He has not forgotten you in this captivity of debt and fear. He invites you to call upon Him and pray to Him, and He will listen.

In that place of trusting Him, you can bring every part of this situation to Him honestly. God is merciful and gracious, and He also calls His people to walk in truth and integrity. His word teaches that we should owe no one anything except love, and that the one who borrows should seek faithfully to repay what is owed. It would not be right to ask God to simply erase a lawful debt or to make others cancel what you have agreed to pay, even when interest makes the burden feel heavy and you feel you have already paid much. Instead, bring your desire to repay everyone before Him and ask for wisdom, provision, and a way to meet your obligations in a way that honors Him. If you are overwhelmed by interest or by threats and harassment, seek wise and lawful counsel from trusted, godly advisors who can help you understand your rights and responsibilities and communicate with those to whom you owe money.

It is right to ask God for relief from harassment and for protection for your family, your home, and your employment. He sees the disruption to your peace and the fear that visits to your home or calls to your contacts could cost you your job. As you keep your mind stayed on Him and trust Him day by day, the peace that passes all understanding will guard your heart and mind through Christ Jesus.
