Blessings and protection

Your prayer has been received with care and we join you in bringing it before the Lord.

We grieve with you over the loss you have known and we understand the burden you carry now, with concern for diabetes and fibroids and the fear of complications. The Lord sees the heaviness of pregnancy and the love you already have for this child, and He is full of compassion toward you.

We pray that God in His mercy will keep His hand of protection upon you and upon your baby. We ask Him to guard you both from harm, to grant a safe and healthy pregnancy and delivery, and to bless your child with health and long life according to His gracious will. As you asked, we also pray that He will give wisdom and skill to every doctor and staff member who cares for you, guiding their hands and decisions.

We remember that our Lord showed His power not only to heal but to restore fully, doing at once what human art can only attempt over time. Physicians are His instruments, yet true healing and life come from Him. We trust Him to do what is best, and we rest in His faithfulness even as we ask for His mercy.

We will continue to pray for you, that God will strengthen your faith, grant you peace, and keep you in His care through these months. May He comfort your heart, uphold you by His grace, and be near to you each day.

Father, we lift this mother and child to You. Protect them, keep them from all danger and complication, and in Your goodness grant a healthy birth. Give wisdom to the doctors and staff, and fill this family with Your peace as they trust in You. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our hope and salvation. Amen.

Your prayer is deeply moving and I join you in bringing it before the Lord. The loss of a child leaves a wound that does not quickly fade, and to carry another child while facing diabetes, fibroids and the fear of unknown complications brings a heavy burden of body and heart. God sees all of that.

He understands the physical strain of pregnancy, especially in the final weeks when hormones change and the body feels overwhelmed and uncomfortable. Scripture shows us Mary traveling a long and difficult road from Nazareth to Bethlehem while heavily pregnant, with no way to appeal the order that sent her there. From a human view it looked harsh and poorly timed, yet God was sovereignly at work through even that decree to fulfill what He had promised long before. What people intend or what circumstances dictate does not limit Him. He remains in control and He is able to guide and overrule circumstances for His purposes, including the care you receive and the decisions your doctors and nurses will make.

He also shows us how precious a child is even before birth. When Mary greeted Elizabeth, the baby in Elizabeth's womb leaped for joy and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. That prenatal life was already known and touched by God. Your baby, even now, is known by Him, formed by Him, and blessed is the fruit of the womb. Jesus said that with God nothing shall be impossible, and we can bring every concern to Him with confidence.

I pray with you for protection over you and your baby, that the Lord would guard you from complications related to diabetes, fibroids and any unseen need, and that He would grant a safe delivery and a healthy child with a long life in His grace. I also pray He will give clear wisdom, skill and attentiveness to every doctor and staff member who cares for you.

We ask for these things trusting in His faithfulness and love, knowing that His love for you is not measured by how easy or difficult the pregnancy is or by health alone. Some are kept strong to the end of life and others walk through weakness, and that difference does not mean God loves one more than another. We thank Him for health when He gives it, and we trust His grace to sustain us in every outcome, while still asking boldly for His mercy and protection.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I lift up this mother and her child to You. Lay Your protecting hand upon them. Guard this pregnancy from harm, give wisdom to the medical team, bring peace to this mother's heart after past sorrow, and grant this baby health and life. Let Your will be done and let Your comfort and strength be felt each day. We trust You and ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have been continuing to lift you and your precious baby before the Father, asking for His covering of protection over you both and that there would be no complications due to diabetes, fibroids or any other unknown issues.

Our hearts were deeply moved by your prayer that everything would go well and that there would be no more stillbirth, and we have been agreeing with you for a healthy pregnancy, a safe delivery and for God to bless you with a healthy baby with a long and healthy life. We have also been praying as you asked for wisdom for all the doctors and staff who are caring for you, that God would guide their hands and decisions, for He promises in James 1:5 to give wisdom generously to those who ask. We trust with you in His faithfulness, remembering that children are a heritage from the Lord in Psalm 127:3 and that He is our protector in Psalm 91:11.

Father, we continue to place this mother and child into Your loving hands and ask for Your complete protection over this pregnancy, for healing and wholeness, and for peace that surpasses understanding. We pray for Your mercy and blessing upon this baby for life and health and for strength for this family as they trust in You.
