We join with you in this precious and tender request before our Father, lifting up you and your unborn baby with thanksgiving for the life He has created within you. We hear the weight of your past loss and the concern you carry regarding diabetes, fibroids, and the unknowns, and we stand with you trusting in the Lord's faithful care over both mother and child.
We are reminded that children are a heritage from the Lord, as it is written, Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward. Psalm 127:3. And we take comfort that the Lord Himself is the one who forms life, for you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Psalm 139:13-14. Before you were formed, He knew you and He knows this child by name, for He says, Before I formed you in the belly, I knew you. Jeremiah 1:5. He sees you, He sees your baby, and He is near to those who have a broken heart from past sorrow, as Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:18.
We also thank you for praying in the name of Jesus, for it is through His name we have confidence to approach the throne of grace and it is by His name we are saved, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.
We pray together now for you.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this mother and her baby to You. We thank You for this gift of life and for Your faithfulness that endures through every season. We ask for Your hand of protection to rest upon this child and upon this mother. We pray against any complications from diabetes, from fibroids, or from any other seen or unseen condition, and we ask that You would cause this pregnancy to progress in health and wholeness according to Your perfect will. Lord, we ask for Your comfort over the memory of stillbirth and we pray now for life, for strength, and for peace that surpasses all understanding to guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7. We ask that You would give abundant wisdom to every doctor, nurse, and staff member who provides care, for You have promised, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5. Guide their hands, their decisions, and their counsel. Help this dear mother to rest in You and not be afraid, for You have said, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. We entrust this baby into Your care, asking that You would command Your angels to guard this little one and bring this child forth in Your timing in health. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11. We trust in Your goodness and Your sovereign love and we pray all these things in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to cast all your anxiety upon Him, because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7. Keep walking faithfully in your medical care as a good steward of the body God has given you, while resting in prayer and thanksgiving each day. The Lord is faithful and His mercies are new every morning. Lamentations 3:23. We will continue to keep you and your baby in prayer for a safe and healthy delivery and for the Lord's peace to fill your home as you await this new life.
