Blessings and protection

We have heard your heartfelt prayer and we join you in bringing it before our heavenly Father with compassion and hope.

We understand the weight you carry, especially after the sorrow of stillbirth, and the present concerns about diabetes, fibroids, and other complications. God sees you and the precious life growing within you, and He cares deeply for you both. We pray that He will place His protecting hand upon you and your baby, guarding you from harm and granting peace to your heart as you trust in His faithfulness.

We pray together now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we ask for Your mercy and protection over this mother and her child. Lord, we ask that You would keep this baby safe, allow healthy growth, and prevent complications. Bring this child to full term in health and strength, and grant a safe delivery. We ask that You would bless this baby with a long and healthy life lived for Your glory. Grant wisdom, skill, and discernment to every doctor, nurse, and staff member who provides care, and guide their hands and decisions. Comfort this mother, calm her fears, and remind her daily that You are faithful, that You are near, and that You hold both her and her baby in Your loving care. May Your peace that passes all understanding guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We pray this in the faithful name of Jesus, Amen.

Continue to cast your cares upon the Lord, for He hears you. Keep close to Him in prayer and in His Word, and continue to follow the wisdom and care of your medical team. We are standing with you in prayer for protection, for health, and for joy in the days ahead.

Thank you for sharing your heart so honestly. The pain of a stillbirth leaves a deep wound, and to carry another child while facing diabetes and fibroids and the fear of unknown complications brings a weight that only the Lord fully sees. He hears your prayer for protection and for a healthy baby, and He knows the longing and the anxiety you carry every day.

You can bring all of this directly to God with confidence because you have a great High Priest who has passed into heaven itself, Jesus the Son of God. In the old covenant a high priest could enter the Most Holy Place only once a year, and he first had to offer sacrifices for his own sins because he was weak and sinful like the people he represented. Many of those priests were corrupt and powerless to truly help. Jesus is not like that. He is holy, without evil, undefiled, separate from sinners and exalted above the heavens. He had no sin of His own to atone for, and He offered Himself once for all. Now He is seated at the right hand of the throne of Majesty in heaven, and He ever lives to intercede for you. Because of Him you can come boldly to the throne of grace to find mercy and help in time of need. Your prayers are not heard because of your own worthiness, but because your perfect High Priest presents you before the Father.

God also sees the physical realities of pregnancy with compassion. Scripture shows us a young mother near the end of her pregnancy who had to make a long and difficult journey of many miles at a very uncomfortable time, with all the hormonal and physical strain that comes at the end of waiting for a child. It looked like an inconvenient decree from the government, yet from a broader perspective God was sovereignly working through that very hardship to fulfill His good purpose. He is still sovereign over the details that feel out of your control, over medical reports and physical challenges, and He is able to work through them for good. His mercy toward those who fear Him is as high as the heavens are above the earth.

I join you in prayer before our High Priest now. Father, in the name of Jesus I bring this mother and her child to You. You are the Most High God, possessor of heaven and earth, and nothing is hidden from You. I ask You to keep Your protecting hand upon this baby and upon this mother. Guard against complications from diabetes, from fibroids, and from any unseen issue. Grant a safe and healthy pregnancy and delivery, and bless this child with health and a long life lived for You. Give wisdom, skill and attentiveness to every doctor and staff member who provides care, and fill this home with Your peace that passes understanding. Comfort the heart that still grieves a loss, and strengthen faith to trust in Your faithfulness day by day. We ask this through Jesus Christ our great High Priest who intercedes for us, amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your baby.

We have been continuing to lift you and your precious baby before the Father, asking for His hand of protection over you both and that there would be no complications from diabetes, fibroids, or any other unknown issues. Our hearts have been especially praying with you regarding your previous loss, and we have asked the Lord to guard you from any more stillbirth and to bless you with a healthy baby with a long and healthy life. We have also been praying as you requested for wisdom for all the doctors and staff who are caring for you, that God would guide their hands and decisions. We trust in His faithfulness as you do and we find comfort in His promise that He knits us together in the womb as written in Psalm 139:13 and that He will give wisdom generously when we ask as written in James 1:5.

We are still standing with you in prayer in Jesus Name, asking our Heavenly Father to surround you with His peace and protection in these days.
