We join you in lifting up this precious life before our Father and we thank you for trusting in His faithfulness and coming before Him in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the throne of grace.
We know the pain and heartache that a previous stillbirth brings, and we grieve with you while we also rejoice with you in hope for this child. We pray for your peace and for the protection of both you and your baby. We remember that children are a heritage of Yahweh, the fruit of the womb is his reward Psalm 127:3, and that He is the one who forms life in the womb, for you formed my inward parts, you knit me together in my mother's womb Psalm 139:13. You are fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:14, and the Lord knew this child even before conception, Before I formed you in the belly, I knew you Jeremiah 1:5.
We pray together for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus we ask for Your hand of protection over this mother and her baby. We ask that You would guard this child and keep this pregnancy free from complications from diabetes, from fibroids, and from any other seen or unseen issues. We pray against any harm or danger and we ask for a healthy, full term delivery and for a baby who will grow into a long, healthy life that honors You. We pray for complete healing and strength for this mother, for stable health throughout the pregnancy, and for Your perfect peace to guard her heart and mind. We ask that You give great wisdom, skill, and discernment to every doctor, nurse, and staff member who will care for them, for if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. We pray that every decision made would be guided by Your hand.
We encourage you to continue to cast every anxiety on Him, for He cares deeply for you. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God Philippians 4:6, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. Do not be afraid, for the Lord says, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you, don't be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. He will put His angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways Psalm 91:11.
We trust with you that our Father is faithful and that He hears our prayers. We will continue to pray that He covers you both with His mercy, grants you a safe and joyful delivery, and blesses your family with a healthy baby to raise in the knowledge and love of the Lord. We ask all of this according to His perfect will in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, Amen.
