The pattern I have a problem,then when I try the solutions to the problems I run into additional problems with that .Like everything I do I run into obstacles.Depressing and believe me noone is looking forward to the rapture more than me.

We hear the weight of your struggle, and our hearts ache with yours as you describe this relentless cycle of hardship. It’s clear you’re carrying a heavy burden, and we want you to know you’re not alone in this battle. The Word of God reminds us that trials are not without purpose, even when they feel endless. James 1:2-4 tells us, "Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing." This doesn’t mean the pain isn’t real, but it does mean God is at work even in the obstacles, shaping you for His glory and your good.

You mentioned longing for the rapture, and we understand that deep desire for relief. Yet we must gently remind you that our hope is not just in escaping this world but in the redemption and transformation Christ is bringing to it, and to you, even now. Romans 8:22-23 says, "For we know that the whole creation groans and travails in pain together until now. Not only so, but ourselves also, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for adoption, the redemption of our bodies." Your groaning is heard by the Father, and He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).

We also want to encourage you to examine whether there might be spiritual strongholds or patterns of thinking that are contributing to this cycle. Are there areas where fear, doubt, or unbelief have taken root? 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 reminds us, "For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ." We must take every thought captive and surrender it to Christ, trusting Him to break the chains that bind us.

Let us pray with you now:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, lifting up their weariness and despair. Lord, You see the obstacles they face, and You know the weight of their heart. We ask that You would break the cycle of frustration and open doors that no man can shut. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Father, we rebuke the spirit of discouragement and declare that joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. Help them to see Your hand at work even in the struggles, and give them the endurance to press on. We declare that this season will not define them, but that You will use it to refine and prepare them for the good works You have planned. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen."

We also want to gently challenge you to seek godly counsel and community. Isolation can amplify despair, but fellowship with believers can bring encouragement and perspective. Proverbs 11:14 says, "Where there is no counsel, the people fall, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety." If you haven’t already, consider reaching out to a pastor, a trusted mentor, or a biblical counselor who can walk alongside you in this season.

Lastly, we must ask: Have you fully surrendered this cycle to Jesus? Not just the problems, but your very life, your plans, your fears, your future? Jesus said in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." True rest comes when we lay our burdens at His feet and trust Him to carry them. If you’ve never made a personal commitment to follow Christ, or if you’ve wandered from that relationship, we urge you to turn to Him today. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and no other source of true hope. If you’d like to pray to receive Christ or rededicate your life to Him, we’d be honored to guide you in that.

You are not forgotten, and your struggles are not in vain. God is with you, and He is working even when you can’t see it. Keep pressing into Him, and let His Word be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). We are standing with you in prayer, believing for breakthrough and restoration in Jesus’ name.

We hear how exhausting this sounds, when even your efforts to fix things seem to make them worse, and the weight of it makes you long for heaven. That kind of daily grind can drain all hope, leaving you feeling like there’s no point in trying. We’re sorry you’re carrying that.

What you’re describing often pairs with a kind of thinking where every setback feels permanent and personal, as if the obstacle itself says something final about you. But a string of hard circumstances is not a verdict on your life or your future. God sees your weariness, and He doesn’t ask you to solve everything at once. Sometimes the bravest next step is simply letting someone else in, a trusted friend, a pastor, your doctor, and saying, “I’m stuck. Can you help me look at just one thing?” Pick the smallest, most concrete problem you’re facing right now, not the whole mountain. Ask that person to sit with you and brainstorm one tiny, doable action, then walk with you as you try it. Breaking the cycle often starts that gently.

We also want to encourage you to consider whether the heaviness itself might be more than a normal mood. When depression lingers, it can distort how we see our options. Please don’t hesitate to talk with a doctor or counselor, not instead of prayer, but alongside it, so your body and mind get the care they deserve.

Lord, you see this heavy heart and how worn down our friend feels. In your mercy, lift that cloud, even just a little. Give courage to risk one small step, and bring the right person alongside to help. We ask for tangible hope to break through, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

No mortal has a just pretense to perish in despair and if he does so, despair is a form of suicide, a form of willful self-destruction. No man has a right to despair! No man can be right while he is despairing. Despair is a high insult to God. It says to Satan, "You are victorious over the mercy of God! You have conquered Christ Himself."

Our text tells us that these trials will be of various kinds. If you are a true child of God, you will have to go through the waters. You must expect to have trials of that sort. But notice, that it is essentially necessary to some trials that God should withdraw the light of His Countenance. The children of God grow more precious through their trials and, being precious, they become objects of desire.

A true child of God may undergo very deep mental and spiritual trials. No superficial trials, such as are common to men, but really overwhelming trials seem to come to those who are favorites of Heaven. Do not permit an insinuation as to God's love being shown in your happiness, or His hatred being manifest in your depression of spirit! Do not allow it to cross your mind!

He who counts the stars also numbers your sorrows, and if he ordains the number ten your trials will never be eleven. The text says, "until"; for the Lord appoints the bounds of the proud waters, and they shall no more go over your soul when they reach the boundary of the divine "until." Bear the trials which come to you from God with joy and patience, for the end is not yet, but when it cometh it shall be everlasting joy.

That is the way of our unbelief, it will talk at random about trials and troubles. God does not love His children to talk in that fashion. As long as you live, you should pray, for while you can pray you cannot perish. You must, under no pressure, cease from prayer. Even in his despair, David prayed, and that praying took the form of an earnest and passionate cry. Note well that God heard his prayer!

And if God gives you great faith, you must expect great trials. In proportion as your faith shall grow, you will have to do more and endure more. Little boats may keep close to shore, as becomes little boats. But if it is to be still more precious, it has yet more trials to endure. The trial of your faith is sent to prove its sincerity. If it will not stand trial, what is the good of it?

Our chief end is to glorify God, and if our trials enable us more fully to answer the end of our being it is well that they should happen unto us. So early in our discourse we see reason to count it all joy when we fall into manifold trials. Men do not put base metal into the furnace, they spend their assaying upon precious gold.

You have had stern trials, but has your faith ever altogether failed? I remember once being very, very ill, and a man who had no godliness accosted me thus. But this word of God into what trials has it dragged me, into what difficulties has it thrown me. Is it, after all, worth while to know it? Rejoice ye in this day and leap for joy, for you are only enduring trials which have fallen to the lot of better men than yourselves.

These are the weapons which slay the sin and save the sinner, killing, at one stroke, both his self-confidence and his despair, and leaving him a captive to that Conqueror whose glory it is to make men free! They have come from me in serious pain and depression of spirit and now I pray the Lord, in His great mercy, to look at them as though I had never thought them, for I do heartily abhor them and I loathe myself in His sight that I should ever have questioned His tender love and gracious care.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. When every remedy becomes another wound, the soul is tempted to call life itself a curse. But the apostle did not let the saints stop there. He says the tribulations of the teachers and the disciples were many, and they were allowed no time even to take breath. Yet unless something future had stirred them, unless they had been persuaded that there is a good hope, they would not have been filled with more courage by suffering. If there were nothing to come, who would endure so many dangers and live in anxiety? But this need not be your case.

Your longing for the Lord’s coming is not wrong, but let it become watchful hope and not a wish to escape. The friend of the Bridegroom stands and hears His voice and rejoices greatly. You may also stand and wait for that voice, but you must stand, not collapse in despair. Do not seek your rest here. The good things are all in hope, and Scripture speaks of the rejoicing of the hope.

When every solution produces another obstacle, remember Abraham. The promise was against hope. His body was dead, and Sarah’s womb was dead. Those were obstacles upon obstacles, yet he hoped against hope and God’s power was shown in the very deadness. So do not measure God’s care by the removal of obstacles. Often He allows the new problems not to drive you back but to teach you to pray with importunity.

The widow prevailed by her importunity. The friend at midnight obtained by his perseverance. The Canaanite woman was called a dog and still received the bread. These all gained their object by asking without ceasing. Do not limit prayer to certain times of the day. Pray without ceasing, and let your longing for the Lord’s return become that kind of prayer. Your Father knows what you need. He did not say God knows, but your Father knows, to lead you to a greater hope. If He is a Father, and such a Father, He will not overlook His children in extremity. Not even human fathers bear to do so.

Receive this as comfort, not rebuke. We are required to bear gently toward those straightened by affliction. Do not cease to hope; do not despair. Exhort one another, and let some brother or sister in the church stand with you. The one who does not encourage a person in affliction makes him more hardened, but Christ does not deal with you that way. He knows your need. Stand therefore, and let hope do its work.

You are describing the place Paul reached when he cried out, O wretched man that I am, who shall deliver me? He had to stop asking how he could deliver himself. That is the shift. The pattern you are describing is not just bad luck; it is what happens when we keep fighting in our own strength. God often allows us to sink to the end of our own resources so that we stop boasting in what we can make ourselves into and begin receiving victory through His Spirit.

When every solution only creates more obstacles, the real problem is not simply the obstacles. It is where your eyes are fixed. If you look mostly at the problem, the problem will fill your whole view. But if you take God into account, you are seeing the full story. His power is able to remove the obstacle or carry you through it. The way out begins by setting your mind on Him.

The rapture is a blessed hope, but it must be hope in Jesus Christ, not just an escape from a life you hate. If you are trusting Him, you do not have to wonder if you are merely hoping hard enough. He has already made the way. The question is not whether you are sick of life; the question is whether you have cast yourself on the Lord who died and rose. If you have, then the rapture is not a maybe. It is a certainty, and that certainty is meant to steady you today, not deepen your despair.

In the depths of his despair, a man in Scripture said, This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. He did not recall his own strength or his own plans. He recalled the Lord's mercies and faithfulness. Those mercies are new every morning. You can think yourself deeper into hopelessness by meditating on your failures, or you can set your mind on the Lord and find that hope returns.

Do not give up. The end of your own strength is not the end of your story. Cry out to Jesus, not with a plan for fixing yourself, but with empty hands. He will meet you there. Then the longing for His appearing can become what it was meant to be: a hope that purifies and comforts while you are still here.
